Hey everyone,

I wanted to share that I have been given an amazing opportunity to grow professionally in a career I love. Unfortunately, that opportunity involves frequently long deployments and will take me away from World of Warcraft and gaming. There are so many followers on this Tumblr and while each of you have joined for your own reasons, I am grateful you have been a part of my WoW RP experience and cannot possibly express my gratitude enough for your support and the roleplays I have shared with many of you. Your lore knowledge, writing, concepts, and talent were second only to your positivity and companionship and I would not trade those experiences for the world.

And while this has been such an incredible (and at times, emotional!) journey exploring lore, art, and original characters with all of you, it is time to wish you farewell. I’m humbled by this path we’ve shared and wish each of you happiness, health, and hope along your own.

And wherever those paths may lead, may Elune be with you.

I have this wonderful ask from a very patient follower, and it’s been sitting in my queue for quite some time; with work, and guild writing, I have not had time to tackle it. Let me post it below, and maybe it will interest you; alternatively, one of my followers who know about Blood Magic/Death Knights, or perhaps have headcanons on the topic, may be able and willing to assist them in their lore journey~

“I saw your wonderful Troll Magic Compendium post, and I was wondering if you knew more about the blood magic performed by blood trolls - and [does] it differ greatly from say, what blood death knights perform? (I might have to ask a DK lore person about that one, sorry). I have a character that can use blood magic very minutely, so I'm always interested in anything that can explain it a little better!“

What kind of lore posts would you like to see more of? I’m hurting for ideas because I’ve done most of what I personally find interesting already, but I may be missing some of your interests entirely and would like to know what you want to see. 

I’ve had some requests for void elf lore, which I apologize for not getting to sooner! I’ll definitely work on it when I have the time in the near future, but if anyone else has something they’d like to see me cover (more cuisine posts? more non-canon RPG lore posts?), please let me know! I’d love more direction for my research and posts going forward.

I honestly get so exhausted by muscular characters. So muscular, so strong, an OC’s muscles have muscles. Sometimes, I just want less description on brawny/roped/ripped bodies, and more description on how an OC is capable of correctly applying /just the right/ amount of force to exert physical power over their prey/opponent. Capability and confidence are more alluring than a six-pack dual wielding eight-packs.

Trying something new- an item writeup. Elfebruary Day 7: Blades

Sentinel Officer Sword

These beautiful weapons are gifted to those who attain officer positions in the Sentinel Army. The blades are all crafted by a single master blacksmith, Calean Moonrage, who comes from a line of incredibly skilled blacksmiths stretching back to the days of the night elven empire. 

Since ancient times, they have been made from a special alloy of mithril, steel, and the sacred metal Elunite, leaving them light as a feather and perfectly balanced. During the entire multi-day forging process, a Priestess of Elune is present. As the metal is worked and shaped, they offer numerous prayers and channel sacred power into it. 

They are as much works of art as they are weapons- the designs on blade and crossguard it are held sacred by the kaldorei. The crystals set into the guard and pommel are taken from a cavern deep beneath Mount Hyjal, and left in a moonwell for a full lunar cycle.

It is said these blades never break, never dull, and offer the wielder a reserve of extra strength that can be replenished once every full moon if the blade is exposed to the sky. When used to strike down enemies of Elune, they almost seem to thirst for more, as if evoking her more warlike side.
