Here's the deal.
If I am able to succeed -- and that's always an "if," let my heart never beat in hubris --
-- and if (see above) you find anything I do in any way, shape, or form, inspirational --
-- then you are obligated, in binding spiritual contract, to remind yourself, as often as possible, "Failure can be temporary. Rebuild. Keep going. Figure it out. Pause when and for how long is necessary. But keep going until Success or the Desire to Quit."
You can quit your art.
If you want to.
But you must not allow anything to force you to quit your art.
You can pause.
You should pause as often and for as long -- months, years, doesn't matter -- as you want and/or need to.
But unless you explicitly want to quit?
Keep. Fucking. Going. Forward. Which includes rest and pausing time. That's part of the cycle.
Thems the rules.
I made this pact with someone a long time ago.
I'm passing it onto you if you are inspired by my work. Now or in the past or the future.

This is admittedly very early — I don’t have plans, or dates, and I have a lot of orders to pack yet — so please take with a grain of salt.
I am. Scattered. A bit. But not negatively — positively — like when an autumn wind comes and blows the leafs.
I took all the profits from the opening sale and am working to bring back notebooks and planners. It’s going to take months. I have to get these open orders out the door.
The testing is going to take weeks, then weeks of designing, weeks of math.
Too many thoughts.
Back to work.
Updates on open orders soon.
More soon.
More everything soon

Final results came in. Both appear to largely be welcome.
To explain the weird brain spot of indecision, as promised: I keep going back and forth between "have very short stories to include in cards" versus "have booklets of stories."
The problem being a concern that a short story, in tiny zine form, would rub the booklet buyers the wrong way. "But I have this in a booklet already?"
Hm.
The notes have clarified that this isn't an issue. Or likely not one to worry about.
I can always list out stories in booklets and point to where they are individually located, but I am exceptionally concerned about providing folks with a great deal.
Too much so, I have to be careful about this worry (that has minimal evidence of proving dangerous) blocking ideas that would be good for the company and enjoyed by customers.
Onwards to more stuff.
More soon. Thanks everyone.
I am in a weird brain spot of indecision on this I will discuss post-poll.
Stories will always be free to read online without a paywall or signup because that is who I am as a person.
If I were fail at everything else, but spent a lifetime increasing the supply of mythology, I will return to salt and soil and energy a content being.
Ebooks are a separate conversation and are likely going to happen.

Here's an interesting fact for you: Carolyn Jones, who played Morticia Addams in the popular TV series "The Addams Family," wore a ring on set that only cost 6 dollars. According to her husband, Peter Bailey Britton, one of Carolyn's close friends was interested in the ring, thinking it was made of diamonds. Despite its low cost, the ring was a unique piece of jewelry that added to Carolyn's distinctive style as the beloved matriarch of the Addams family.
