“say you won’t let go” - some touch starved scenarios

heart pounding whenever the other does so much as to hold onto their wrist while guiding them through a crowd

one just casually sitting down on the other's lap and they start internally freaking the hell out

hesitantly tugging the other's fabric of their shirt or sleeve, testing the waters

^^ the other notices so they pull them into a hug, smiling as they just watch them melt

"wait, don't go, please.."

"is this okay?" "it's more than okay."

already barely holding it together as they're getting their hand held but then they feel that reassuring squeeze and they just can't

wearing the others' clothes so that it can at least feel like they're hugging them, even for just a moment

feeling so lonely that they have to call their lover/friend, just to get a sense and reminder that they're still there

^ trying and failing to hold back their tears as they do so

"can i have one more hug?" "aw, babe you don't have to ask, c'mere..."

when the other holds onto their waist briefly as they're passing by and it just send chills down their spine

breaking down mid-hug because they just needed this so much

their breath hitching whenever the other gets a little closer

^ feeling crushed when that action is taken as a sign of discomfort, and they watch them slowly back off

holding onto a stuffed animal/pillow, imagining that it's their lover in their embrace instead

one leaning their head onto the other's shoulder suddenly and they just freeze

Epic co-host Evan here to say that Danny (the one who runs this blog) is safe and sound, but he may be gone for quite awhile. We never wanted to be very open about our issues on here, but we've struggled to control our BPD and dissociation for awhile. Our therapist left us out of the blue a couple months ago, and it triggered a downward spiral until we had a psychotic break and lost a majority of our friends. For now, we are staying offline and looking for a new psychiatrist. Once we're stable in that again, Danny will return and answer all asks, requests, etc. Thank you all for the patience and support so far ♡

Person A overworking themself, and Person B has to take care of them.

Person A has always been one to hide their emotions, so when Person B finds them crying, they know something is really wrong.

Person A is rather clumsy and ends up getting hurt. Person B teases them for it but still takes care of them.

Person A watches a movie that scares them more than they thought it would, so they have to share a bed with Person B for the night.

Person A crying in front of Person B for the first time.

Person A accidentally scolding Person B for putting themself in danger when in reality, they're in tears and terrified. Cue Person B crying along with them.

Person A being Person B's weighted blanket after a particularly hard day.

I don’t know what writer needs to hear this

but you can write something very plain. 

You don’t have to write some genre-redefining masterpiece. You can write a story about two people very simply falling in love. You can just write a story about a person going to the store. You could, if you were so inclined, just re-write Star Wars but like, make all the names start with M.

Don’t let the fear of not-writing something transcendent stop you from just writing.
