ramble a bit about them, their past, what their current motivations are, go as in depth as you like. again, the more the better: they thought they buried her but of course hippolyta got her dirty little crusty fingers on donna's body - they ressurected her on themyscira but she was stolen by.............. space royalty ?? bro i don't know donna's history makes no sense so, instead donna has very vivid dreams (memories) about being on the titans but her memory was pretty much wiped, she became a space queen and ruled over a kingdom with her husband who she had a child with. the planet was taken over and donna couldn't handle/didn't know how to use her powers and her husband and son both died (yikes am i right).......... the titans found her and yay!!!! she was saved this was probably in like the last two-three years or so i haven't rlly worked out canon yet

the five years during the snap we’re the most transformative years of Kori’s life. She began dating dick grayson and working in the new world, assisting with the aftermath of the snap and what came of it. Dick and her were engaged, and even had a child together. Though Kori felt as if the relationship was falling flat they had plans to be married. Unfortunately on the day her sister decided to show up and ruin everything (typical) but ultimately it was for the best. Her and Dick split shortly after that and she returned to Tamaran to settle the unfinished business.

kory is now active in her role as the leader of the titans. By day she is her hot super model part time stay at home mom co parenting with Dick. At first there was a bitterness between them after the break up since you know he caught him boning his new girlfriend only 2 weeks after their alleged wedding day and she was dropping off their daughter. But she got over that! They’re good now!

Princess Koriand’r was the second born princess of Tamaran. She resided as a warrior princess with her older sister Komand’r where her life was just as amazing as you would expect it to be. However when Kori was just 11, her planet was invaded by the citadel, who killed off the entire monarchy except for her and her older sister.

In an attempt to try and conquer the planet, the Citadel named her sister as the ruler of Tamaran. Her sisters first act was to banish Kori from the planet, making her the only true heir. Kori was taken by the citadel and experimented on under torment, for them to further understand exactly how far the Tamarian body could go to absorb ultraViolet light. The Citadel suspected she would die quickly, and the guards revealed the invasion was set up by her sister to ensure her as ruler. However she survived, motivated by her anger. After lashing out against a Citadelian guard, Kori projected huge amounts of energy from her body, and realized the experiments conducted on her had unintentionally given her incredible powers. She was restrained and further experimented on, enslaved and sedated to keep her compliant.

Eventually, Kori was forced to work on a slave ship called the S.S. Starfire, where she met Orn, a rebel Citadelian who had been enslaved by his own people. He showed Kori kindness and love, and smuggled food for her. She began training in secret with Orn, and eventually managed to empower the slaves on her ship to overthrow their captors, leading a rebellion that freed the aliens from their captors. Kori took control of the ship she had been enslaved upon, liberated the people of Tamaran, and became known throughout the galaxy as Starfire.

6 months later Kori crash landed just outside of Los Angeles which caused all of her memories to be wiped. On earth she had no idea who she was, and believed she was human going under the name of Kori Anders. She lived for a while in peace, trying her best to find shelter and an income, when she was spotted on Hollywood Blvd for her extraordinary height and looks and began work as a model. As she progressed in her work, her powers began coming back all on their own, with memories of flashbacks coming to her. In a nervous breakdown, she lost control and unleashed her full potential and caused havoc in the city. But was brought down by the titans.

Her memories came back to her, and she explained who she was. No longer seeing her as a threat, she agreed to join the titans in March of 2011. Protecting earth in whatever way she could, while still managing her new life as Kory.

Gar grew up with his scientist parents in Africa, who were working on developing ‘reverse evolution’ to bring back extinct creatures. He contracted a rare illness called Sakutia, a virus lethal to every species except the West African green monkey. To save his life, his father used an untested science experiment to change him into a West African Green monkey for 24 hours. The serum ended up permanently turning his skin, eyes, and hair green and giving him the ability to morph into any animal of his choice. His parents later died in a boating accident; to this day, Garfield believes he could have prevented their deaths.

Garfield is left under the care of a court-appointed guardian, Nicholas Galtry, who was embezzling fund from the Logan Estate. Realizing his scheme would be exposed once Gar turns of age and receives his inheritance, he tries to kill Gar. He is rescued by the Doom Patrol and. is adopted by Elasti-Girl and her husband (No relation to the incredibles). He joins the Doom Patrol and takes the name Beast Boy. On a mission where Beast Boy was not in attendance, the Doom Patrol perishes in an explosion, and Beast Boy decides to lock those feelings up TIGHT.

He then tries to be an actor on the show SPACE TREK: 2040, using his green skin and shapeshifting powers to play an alien. The series was canceled after being sued for plagiarism.

Then he joins the Teen Titans. Garfield fell in love with Terra, a girl with earth-manipulating powers and fellow Teen Titans member, who turned out to be a spy working for the assassin Deathstroke the Terminator and who is eventually killed. Beast Boy uses humor to hide his pain and is known for his light-hearted attitude and “wise-cracking nature”. He considers his fellow Titans family, and the people who he’ll always be closest too – despite this, he struggles consistently with being taken seriously and has a bit of an inferiority complex.

One time he tried to gaslight everyone that chicken wasn’t an actual animal after he accidentally ate chicken nuggets thinking they were the impossible meat nuggets which were the Impossible, it’s meat nuggets.

WE’VE HAD A TIMESKIP!

six months have passed since the following message was sent out across all channels, and the world experienced (and continues to) catastrophic events. find the message below:

ALERT SENT OUT ACROSS ALL OPEN CHANNELS

There has been a disruption. After months of quiet and somewhat calm, we are struck by catastrophe. As of yet, the source of this event is not known. But moments ago just outside of New York City, an earthquake was reported. But upon further investigation, it seems something more sinister. Fires have erupted without known source. Landmasses are cracking and splitting, with structures falling into the earth.

Worse still, monsters much like the ones we have seen in recent months have appeared and current heroes on scene are struggling to contain them.

But it is not limited to just this city. Across the globe we are seeing catastrophe after catastrophe in quick succession. Explosions, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, wildfires, more monsters. Something or someone has caused a string of events that desperately need action to prevent from worsening.

This is a call to heroes alike across the globe to stand and fight against this strange terror.

we now get to drop in six months after these world changing events, and find a world slightly different. magic is still haywire, but it seems to be on the brink of being resolved. but, the world is still a mess. continuous destructive events have been ongoing for six months, with heroes tirelessly fighting to counteract and resolve. this means, your characters could realistically be anywhere in the world, helping or exploiting these events. things are chaotic, but will they get worse before they get better? lets find out.

It was a struggle, the first year was the worst; it was the feeling of failure because it made him realize he couldn’t do what he’d always been fighting for. That despite all the years he’d spent seeking revenge and building a place of safety in Genosha for mutants to seek refuge, he was as helpless as the humans were and It pushed him to return to his enemy/former allies at Xavier’s school because he felt there was no other choice.Genosha wasn’t even half of what it had been prior to the snap, mutants left and the brotherhood of mutants disbanded because they’d lost too much.

( I could certainly see him having felt willing enough to reach out to the Avengers, it’s just a case of whether they were willing to answer or if they basically had nothing if this was about year 2 / 3 I could see a decent plot where he was perhaps turned away by the Avengers and formed a group somewhat like the flag smashers ).

By year four he isolated himself on the rundown island, burying himself in drink and loneliness feeding into his self hatred.

On the return of those dusted, he had no answers for his brotherhood or those who had once resided on utopia, instead he rebuilt the island as a refuge for his mutant kind and those with abilities who sought a home that had been taken from them because the government unsurprisingly did not know how to handle the return of half of the population and simply/willingly removed people from the places they’d made their homes.

are they aligned to any specific team/groups/etc and if so, how did they join and why if not, are they looking to join a team and if so, why:

X-MEN ( formerly/sometimes still fights with them ) - It just occasionally works out that he needs them or they need him and regardless of their disagreements he’ll always be around for Charles’ school and X-Men.

Brotherhood of Mutants - they’re his closest kin and the people he trusts the most ( or at least is willing to put partial trust into ).

Flag Smashers - I could see him having aligned himself with the group because he disagreed with the methods the government were taking post the return of those that had been lost.

where do they currently live/been living since the return snap:

Utopia/New York in Xavier’s School - probably at the disapproval of plenty of the people that reside in the school but he stands by that he’s doing his best to work on himself ( what they don’t know wont hurt them ).

what have they been doing personally and/or professionally since the return snap:

Had a brief stint with teaching at the school but eventually decided it wasn’t for him and felt a little weird about his double life fighting the government with the flag smashers.

( So basically I hate that the movie adaptation probably just works better in terms of fitting erik in and also just being able to make it make sense with the MCU. so i’m gonna give a quick timeline of how I see things making sense )

1930 - Max is born to a Jewish family in Germany.

1944 - Max is Separated from his family forcibly by Nazi troupes in Germany occupied Poland where they’d attempted to seek refuge in. Under the stress of this his powers manifest and he’s able to bend open the metal gate separating him and his parents before being knocked out by a guard.

1944 - Max meets Sebastian Shaw who begins to experiment on him, first attempting a friendly approach which didn’t work to unlock the rest of his abilities. So Shaw shot and killed Max’s mother in front of him, unlocking Max’s abilities through his anger and pain.

1944 until 1945 - Max was tortured and experimented on by Shaw until he was liberated from Auschwitz.

1945 - 1949 Max takes refuge with gypsies, he adopts the name Erik and uses his powers for the first time on his boss who is cheating him out of pay. He has Anya around this time who ends up dying in a fire as a consequence of erik using his powers on his boss and this is the first time erik hates humanity, turning the guns of the soldiers onto themselves and making them shoot.

1949 - 1955 erik travels to israel and works with holocaust survivors ( could be the first time he and charles meet but that’s entirely upto anyone that picks up charles ).

1955 until 1962 - Erik fights in the Vietnam war until he hears word of Shaw in Switzerland, choosing to fight because he’d begun to hear about more of those that were like him and despised the prejudice of humans ( this could certainly allow for an early brief first meeting for Charles and Erik like in the comics where Charles gets the inkling that Erik is like him ).

1962 - Erik travels to Switzerland, where he interrogates a Swiss banker as to the whereabouts of Sebastian Shaw. He is directed to Villa Gesell, where he finds two Nazi officers having a drink at the bar. After seeing an old photograph of Shaw with the two officers, Erik kills them and proceeds to travel to Miami to face off against Shaw but ends up being defeated by Shaw’s Hellfire club.

1962 until 1980’s - Erik sets up the first version of his brotherhood . Erik is also captured and imprisoned for a time, having a batch of the supersoldier serum injected meaning he does not age.

1990 until 2000’s Erik meets magda in a brief time of refuge, which he took believing xavier regarding being able to live peacefully though this doesn’t last long and soon Erik leaves after seeing the descrimination against his own kind. Although he was unaware of the birth of wanda and pietro, his children.

2000 until 2010 - a lot of fights between xavier’s xmen and magneto take place, due to their disagreement over mutants fitting in with humans though on occasion they have no choice but to work together and regardless of their differing morals, Erik cares a profound amount for charles that he will on occasion join forces should they need to.

2010 until 2012 - much like the anti-hero movements, mutants were being treated the same though with varying issues from humanity that only fuelled erik’s anger toward them.

2012 - erik briefly joins forces with the x-men during the battle in manhattan but only because loki seemed careless about whether he was harming humans or mutants. Due to being mutant kind and the movements that were being formed against them publicly, there was no mention of their input in the battle. Yet another reason erik’s anger was fuelled. ( can be changed if needed )

2013 - magneto and his brotherhood team up with mystique against the avengers, the first movement made that introduces mutants to them. Although the driving force of the interaction is mainly mystique, magneto is only involved because of his connection to her and her abilities.

2014 - due to magneto and mystiques movements, seen only as terrorist acts trask sets up the sentinel program.

2015 - mutant massacre, another occasion where the x-men and brotherhood fight together ( though left open so that if any x-men join they can decide whether they were asked for help with the events of age of ultron or if they were fighting in the massacre ).

2016 - due to the mutant registration act that aligns with the sokovia accords, mutants now face more descrimination than ever due to them being able to be identified and targeted more easily by prejudice. Erik makes his first public appearance, warning humans that should their prejudice continue he’ll make all of them pay.

2016 until 2018 - erik’s public display leaves the X-Men with no choice but to move against him and the brotherhood, they fight and erik is defeated. Imprisoned for a brief time, though escapes and seeks refuge elsewhere

2018 until 2019 - erik briefly attempts to amend his ways, seeking out the aid of his old friend xavier but this lasts briefly before he returns to his refuge.

2019 - he joins forces with known heroes to protect mutant kind from thanos ( though done selfishly because I enjoy him having neutral moments ).

2019 until 2024 - seeks refuge in the formed utopia and despite his prejudice towards humans, he begins to reform slightly, even seeking a home in xaviers school.

2024 until 2028 - aligns with the flag smashers, only due to a shared frustration at the government's choices since the return and erik’s brotherhood still being weaker than ever.

xavier/magneto in any form is always fun, I enjoy xavier always being the only link magneto has to humanity, even when he despises them completely.

I also enjoy magneto being an antihero more than I do a complete villain which would leave plenty of options for plots regarding character development for magneto to begin to change as villain’s rarely get the option to in the mcu and while I do think erik will always have prejudices, the snap and return probably influenced a lot of his choices regarding change.

Wanda & Pietro - I always write erik as being their father because it’s another link to humanity in a way that means he has at least a pull in both directions regarding whether he wants to be good or bad. when / if he found out them, i’m certain thats going to be all he needs to at least consider changing his ways in a bigger and more meaningful way even if it doesn’t last long.

if they weren’t dusted, what did they get up to in those five years, be as in depth as you want, the more the better: In the five years the dust affected, Bart struggled a lot. He lost friends in the snap, and he knew he had to move on despite it. The world needed Impulse, but it didn’t mean that he couldn’t still grieve. How Bart handled his grief was pointedly ignoring it. He carried on with what he was doing before; acting as if nothing changed. It was hard, but he felt a responsibility to keep everyone smiling as much as he could. Everyone expected him to be the goofball, the comic relief, so he was.

are they aligned to any specific team/groups/etc and if so, how did they join and why if not, are they looking to join a team and if so, why: Not currently, although he does want to be on a team. He’d love to be apart of the Avengers, at least as an honorary member. Or a member of the science team. He misses working with people, and he wants to work with them again. Bart is highly social, he thrives on attention and being around others. Working by himself gets gloomy, he desperately wants to be on a team. He’s submitted his application basically everywhere. He just wants to be with others again.

 where do they currently live/been living since the return snap: Bart lives in New York in a shitty apartment, as most New York apartments are, but he’s happy. He loves the vibe of the city, and he can be closer to a lot of his friends than when he was in Central City.

what have they been doing personally and/or professionally since the return snap: Bart does hero work as Impulse whenever he can, including patrolling both Central AND New York due to his speed. He takes after Wally in that he wants to help and rehabilitate criminals rather than just beating the shit out of them and leaving them in the ICU. He also works a day job as a barista, turns out he is really good at zipping around and getting orders ready.

Bart Allen was born in the 30th century to Meloni Thawne and Don Allen. He was kept in a virtual reality landscape due to his rapid aging, they didn’t want him to suffer any mental problems due to it. He was born with full super speed, something very unusual for speedsters. Due to the danger he posed himself and the virtual reality landscape not working, he was taken to the past where he met Wally West, and was challenged to a race that made his rapid aging stop.

Now in the present, since Bart spent so much of his time in a virtual reality simulator he was very naive and impulsive, getting into trouble and causing problems left and right. He was very excitable, and was always exploring the world around him. This put him at odds with Wally, who couldn’t handle him and gave up on him, giving him to Max Mercury. He was eventually dubbed Impulse by Batman, as an insult. Although he decided to reclaim it for himself.

Things were going well, however once again a mentor figure disappeared and he was placed with a new one, Jay Garrick. People continuously put pressure on Bart, reminding him of his legacy as the descendant of The Flash and the Tornado Twins alike. Despite his goofball and impulsive nature that he was pigeonholed into because of his personality and being a speedster, Bart has taken on numerous intellectual projects. Such as reading every single book in the library and doing science experiments of his own.

Overall, a lot of Bart’s past involves people underestimating him, insulting him, passing him around like a hot potato, and Bart proving them wrong and displaying that he’s more than his sense of humor or hyperactive nature. That he’s not some child.

one plot idea, big or small, you’d like to do with them or connection/dynamic to explore: I’d love to do some angst with Bart being seen as the comedic relief and the pressure he’s under to always make people smile, and his frustrations with his intelligence not being recognized.

if they weren’t dusted, what did they get up to in those five years, be as in depth as you want, the more the better: Duke was horrified when the snap happened. He saw many of his friends and even people he had gotten to know over the years affected by it. He felt a little bit of survivors guilt, he had powers- and yet he still hadn’t done anything to stop it. He decided to make up for it the best he could. In addition to keeping his daytime hero persona in Gotham, he also took additional night shifts, wanting to be apart of the solution. Duke primarily looked after street kids and the kids who’s parents had disappeared during the snap. He knew what it was like in foster care systems and rough homes, so he tried his best to make those circumstances better.

are they aligned to any specific team/groups/etc and if so, how did they join and why if not, are they looking to join a team and if so, why: He is primarily aligned with the Batfamily & The Outsiders. He has no problems aligning with others though, although his long term involvement may vary depending on the need. where do they currently live/been living since the return snap: Duke has been living in Gotham. He has his own apartment, and doesn’t really use the Wayne money he’s allowed access to. He actually has a job outside of vigilantism that pays for the apartment. It’s a crummy apartment, buts it’s his.

what have they been doing personally and/or professionally since the return snap: Duke spends his days patrolling Gotham as The Signal, needing to provide people someone they can look towards in the day. After his patrols, he works in an after school program that has kids participate in various sports. He basically coaches whatever they need coaching, arranging fun games and stuff. He loves it.

ramble a bit about them, their past, what their current motivations are, go as in depth as you like. again, the more the better:

Duke Thomas wasn’t an orphan. He also wasn’t a troublemaker at the start. He also wasn’t aware of even who he was, until it was too late.

He is the son of a social worker named Elaine and an immortal supervillain named Gnomon. His mother fled with him while pregnant to escape him. He lived unaware, in the Gotham Narrows. He actually managed to stump the Riddler and help out with Batman BEFORE becoming aligned, due to his knowledge of riddles and brain teasers.

However, things turned bad when the Joker took over the city, and was kidnapped by him in order to recreate the events of the Wayne Family murders. Batman saved him and his family, but his parents were turned fully insane. He was removed from their care and placed in the foster care system.

Affected by the loss of his parents, as they had disappeared, the once happy and fun kid disappeared. Leaving a shell of himself. Gone was the stellar student and promising sporting kid and in its place was an angry, desperate young man who wanted to investigate his parents because of the apathy of the justice system. He continued to run away from foster homes in order to find his parents.

To make a long story short, he continued with his search brushing off any attempts at help from Batman, aligning himself with the We Are Robin movement. He eventually found out his parents were permanently jokerized in a psychiatric hospital.

After some more traumatizing life events, including more than a few lecture by Batman and helping save Gotham, Duke eventually accepted a role as Batman’s newest protege.

one plot idea, big or small, you’d like to do with them or connection/dynamic to explore:

Batfam interactions, but I’d also love to see him interact with other immortals. Since his father was basically a deity, I’d love to see him interact with maybe Thor, Loki, or other gods. The contrast would be pretty great, as the only immortals he knows have been assholes.
