The dinner was a success and with off without a hitch. The ice between SHIELD and the mutants was broken and SHIELD has decided to give the mutants a trial period.
In this trial period Charles has agreed to disperse a batch of the drugs he has created to be tested on a select few. Families who have sick loved ones and can’t afford even the shabbiest of healthcare. The ones picked will be monitored at a neutral location by Charles Xavier and Christine Palmer.
With the spikes of radiation getting higher, it’s leaving more and more people without shelter and it’s causing an unusual effect on people and their personalities. Lots of people are becoming angrier and more aggressive and with that the crime rate has shot up to almost uncontrollable. Without enough law enforcement SHIELD Agent Mariah Hill has put together a team to help with damage control while Bruce Banner and Jane Foster work on ways to contain the radiation.
SHIELD has also been helping those without homes to find new shelter and those with powers have been feeling a little...wonky. Their powers have been going in and out and those without powers have been feeling...energized. Some of them have even been showcasing powers of their counterparts.
example: darcy being able to control metal, jane being able to read minds.
