to disappear and go on a long road trip with a friend, picking up hitchhikers and becoming friends with them, and doing reckless things, being covered in dirt and sweat and running around like children, falling, getting up, laughing. driving along deserts, woodlands, fields, going swimming in lakes, rivers and canals and eating shitty food, beach side bonfires, getting drunk and dancing around like mad. falling asleep on each other; being physically exhausted but still feeling energetic. Looking at the stars, coming home months later with so many memories, a thoroughly nourished soul and a weathered body with scars and uneven tan lines; each mark a reminder of a different memory and an amazing story—to live and feel alive with invigorating youth, and just being free
