I feel like I haven’t heard enough hype about the archives heist scene:

- We got to see Kaz completely out of character as he’s disguised as the sculpture guy. I love a fake-cheerful Kaz, it’s so unsettling lol

- Inej is eerily silent as she dances around RIGHT BEHIND a guard and he has no idea she’s there

- Jesper makes an incredible shot to get the gate open for Inej

- “bit slow on the draw, there” “or just in time”

It’s just a perfect, quick one-shot that showcases all their talents and teases all the heist potential that’s yet to come in future seasons 🤞

Can someone explain to me why they felt the need to make Zoya say that racist comment (even though personally at first I didnt think much of it)

I mean she is half suli so therefore a halfbreed herself

I just love Zoya so much and I don’t want them to tarnish her character before we even get a chance to know her (despite the fact that she was kind of a bitch in the first book, but I think that was mostly due to the YA trope of the big bad meanie jealous of the protagonist)

I was literally thinking about this last night as I was falling asleep. Wtf where are the tidemakers?!?!

To be honest though, they get sidelined in the books too. If I had to guess, it might be because water is harder to create with CGI.

As I was trying to make an all grisha powers gifset I realized we haven't even seen 1 tidemaker do any 🌊magic🌊 and I have to say I'm quite disappointed.
