Yes of course, I can explain !

What I mean is that the big, light red shoulder pauldrons that Scorpia sports with her Horde suit aren't, just as the red extensions on her face, part of her actual body. When she is out of her Horde suit (at the Princess Ball and at the underwater club) she is shown without these particular attributes ; her shoulders still have spikes, but they are less developed and of a darker red, matching the one on her arms.

Here are pictures of Scorpia in her Horde suit and at the Princess Ball to show the difference :

So yeah, this does mean that the big shoulder pauldrons are just that ; pauldrons or spaulders ! Part of her Horde “armor”, probably made to make her look more threatening on the field (my first thought was actually that they were made to protect her shoulders, but let’s be real, it was designed by the Horde, and they probably just wanted her to look as menacing as she could). This also explains how her Horde top could be under these shoulder pauldrons.

I don’t know why I didn’t realize it sooner, although I did see the difference ! It just didn’t fully click in my mind before. But I think it’s a commonly made mistake in the fandom to think the pauldrons are part of her body, although I’ve also seen people aknowledge and respect the fact that they aren’t in their fanarts !

I had a vision last night.

Asking for help (no one's dying but still, pretty please)

I don't want to put a wall of text on anyone's dash, so I'm putting everything under the cut. I'll be forever thankful if y'all read it.

This is something I was planning on posting on January, but decided I was in such a bad situation after all. Well, it's been 3 months and things are predictively worse. Let me start from the beginning.

In January I was forced to buy a new phone, because my lovely Axon M, while still fictional, was having some issues which where getting worse as time went on. The screen started to have image retention problems, and I'm not talking about leaving something on it for hours or minutes, I'm talking about seconds, as in 10, worse if the object was very white. The battery which already barely lasted a day started to lose charge rapidly, like 10-20% while listening to Spotify for 30 minutes. Lastly, and this was the most worrisome problem, was that if it ran out of charge or I turned it off, when I turned it on it would show me a warning that the device had a corruption issue and couldn't be trusted to boot correctly.

So, new phone, which don't get me wrong, I love my Moto G8, especially the battery that lasts me 2 days with normal use, meaning i charge the phone once every 2 days, instead of 4 times in 2 days. The problem is that while it was relatively cheap, I still had to use most of my savings, which where already diminishing due to me working half a day now. But I was like "you still have some money, don't freak out".

Plus I realize I didn't have a way to get the money I had on PayPal out of it, so between that and convincing myself that I was okay, I stopped insisting with Pictura Reparo's Patreon. Fortunately, I have a way now, which is why I'm here again, but not for a good reason. Two weeks ago we got some papers from the lawyer managing the title of our house, which we're going through the process of getting in our name instead of my grandma.

Turns out there where some unpayed debts, and with the years that added a bit of interest. So, I had to take out almost 400 dollars from PayPal to help pay that debt. Which I'm okay with, since the house is now debt free and because it's going to be in our name, me and my brothers I mean, so that's okay, but that means I'm with almost no money for emergencies.

And to make matters worse my boss is getting increasingly more desperate because of the drop in sales. Not only is he passive aggressively blaming us for not selling enough, he's also pressuring us to lie to the customers, like telling them their cameras need a sensor cleaning when they don't. How am I supposed to convince someone their camera needs a 60$ cleaning (that's expensive here) when it actually doesn't need it because there's no black dots on the photos?

Do I lies and tell them a sensor cleaning is another thing altogether? Do I play dumb and try to change the subject but still aiming to have them leave their camera for a service it doesn't need? What if they discover later what a sensor cleaning is? You think they'll stay quiet and be like "welp I was scammed nothing I can do about it" and roll with it? I told him I wasn't going to lie the other day and he wasn't happy about it. Oh, he played dumb like "I never asked you that, but I need your commitment to the shop, if you know what I mean".

I know I haven't been doing much with Pictura Reparo, but I guess you can see where my minds has been lately. It's probably not a good reason/excuse for people that might consider subscribing to my Patreon, knowing sometimes I don't do anything for a month or two. But I do drop like 4 or 5 covers in a week or 2 when the inspiration hits, if that's any consolation.

My dream of getting 300$ a month so I can quit my job is far from being a reality, but for now any money you can spare is enough. If you don't have PayPal or don't want to use it, but you also don't want or can't subscribe monthly on Patreon, but still want to send me some money, you can either put the amount you want and subscribe for a month on Patreon or you can use my Ko-fi. I'll put all the links at the end of the post.

But the best way you can help me is sharing this post. The more that people see this post, the more chance I have to reach someone interested in my restoration work. So please please PLEASE, reboot this post, likes are pretty, but don't help me at all. What I need are REBLOGS.
