can i ask you for some Dick centric comic recs. your fave ones, if you will 👉👈 most of the ones i read barely feature him and i want to know him a bit better as a character. especially his Robin era.
getting back to u super late but if you're still interested in my recs: my fav Robin Dick comics i've read recently are robin: year one, teen titans: year one, and batman/superman: world's finest (2022)
ur depictions of the batfamily are literally everything to me like they have taken up residence in my brain and are wreaking havoc constantly .thank you for that i love them so much
THANK U i will draw more of them soon i love them a lot as well
hi! are you okay? been a while since you last posted anything so i thought id check in
this is very sweet thank you anon :,) yes I am okay, I was taking a mental health hiatus this summer and then I started my senior year of art school and suddenly had 0 free time.....SIGH
i know it's been months since I've posted now but I will be back! soon hopefully! i wanna post more art I still love batfam!!
hi!!! i was wondering how you feel about your art being used in video edits with credit in the edit/caption? it would be posted on a spam acc with only a few friends being able to see it since the account is private! if you'd rather not have your art included then that's fine as well :)
i FINALLY got around to covering my laptop in stickers, and i just realised it looks like jason is saying he was thinking about bucky i love this crossover
also shoutout to all but 3 of the stickers coming from @niteween’s redbubble bc i fully spent like $60 on there
I had this comic idea a while ago. A 20 part comci spin off about damian being in high school. I was gonna add Colin and Maps back in and have it be centered around the relationships in his life, specifically Alfred since it would be more about him getting old and having to be taken care of more. And Bruce having to take a step back as batman bc he has to be there more for Alfred. More character studies than action based since I like doing that a lot more.
...Maybe I should pitch it to dc comics. Lol. Im kidding.
Hi, what do you usually do to get out of art block?
well tbh i'm kind of in one right now so this is what I've been trying to do (it is not foolproof sometimes you just need to wait the art block out. and having periods of inactivity isn't the worst, it can help you get more perspective on your art imo) -
do studies. this helps me bc i dont have to think too hard about what to draw. good chance to work on something you want to build more skills in (figures, environments, color, anything). i dont usually spend too long on these, 5-30 minutes depending on what im doing
draw something you're comfortable drawing. whatever your go-to thing is (mine is robin) as a warm up so u actually start drawing
try to get inspired. watch something new, read a comic you've been meaning to get to, find new artists. I draw the most when I have something to obsess over so exploring a lot of media is helpful
