UPDATE: improved some hair textures, please re-download and delete the previous files! Here are some before and after

Graying hair - 18 base game female hairs

all hairs have been binned and linked gray recolor to the black package. also download deedeesims' graying maxis hairs too (i didn't do the ones they did for that reason). no plans on doing pack hairs atm.

i just grayed out the hairs that look more 'mature', so no mohawk yet. male hairs coming soon

now adults ageing to elders changing their hair gray won't feel so sudden, i also recommend downloading simnopke's subtle wrinkles :P

Adult Male Ear FIX + Custom Maxis-Match Skintone

Maxis made a mistake when making the male sim's face textures. They made the ears too dark compared to teens, children, elders, female sims, etc. So I fixed that by replacing the ears with the teen ear textures.

This ONLY replaces the adult male face textures, it's not a full body replacement. Don't download any other package that also replaces those textures.

Vampire and Plantsim replacements require Nightlife and Seasons respectively.

Dark Medium Skintone

This is just my old Dark Tan skintone but without maxis face tweaks, It's genetized, which means if two sims with the third and fourth skintones have a child, they will have the dark medium skintone, and it's also townified, which means that randomly generated sims have a chance of spawning with this skintone.

It's time to get nostalgic.

With this update of my Sims (2000) world, you can revisit every lot and every household from the Sims 1 in an open world experience in the Sims 3! This addition adds the Magic Town and Vacation Island area's, making this a complete Sims 1 world, that includes every Sims 1 neighborhood.

I apologize for the long delay in releases this update for this Sims 3 world. My real life has gotten very hectic, so it's been hard to make time for this project. I hope it was worth the wait and that you'll enjoy reliving the Sims 1 in this Sims 3 world.

This world was made with every Sims 3 expansion pack (except for Into The Future), in addition the the High End Loft and Town Life stuff packs. You can install the world even if you do not own all of these packs. But the save file (which includes all of the premade sims, ghosts and some fixes) can only be played if you have all of these packs installed.

To everyone who has installed and played the previous version of my Sims (2000) world: to install this version, you'll need to uninstall the old one. If you have an active save file with the previous (1st) version of this world, please backup any households and builds you want to save to your library. Because that save file will probably become unplayable after installing the updated world file.

I have one little request… If you know any other long time simmers, please share this project with them. I would love it if as many people as possible get a chance to enjoy this nostalgic experience <3

Also, if you enjoy setting up high quality screenshots, I'd love to see them and use them to promote this world.

Outerwear moved to outerwear only

Moved outerwear outfits (turtleneckscarf, snowbunny, & cowlneck) that were in everyday to outerwear only, for adults, elders, teens, children and toddlers.

There are several recategorizers like this in mts but they don't seem to work.. so i made my own, for those who don't want to reorganize all outfits for this fix. You can place it in your downloads folder, but if you don't want the delete button in cas, place it in your bins folder.

Animated Servo Jaw

This is a default replacement for servo heads which makes their jaws animated. Only high-detail meshes are affected. That means that in the Graphics/Performance Options you must have the Sim/Object Detail option set to High to see the change.

Known issues

The female servo lipstick is smeared under the jaw part. However, you may consider it a result of the jaw movement.

Conflicts

Do not use with any other default replacement meshes for servo heads, e.g. Classic Servo Default by LazyDuchess or T.O.B.O.R. from MySims as a Servo DR by Khal Ulti.

This default replacement may be used with default replacement textures for servos, e.g. Default Replacemet Servos by Dazro. However, some of them, e.g. Polished Oak Servos by hat_plays_sims, may look somewhat wrong when a servo moves their jaw.

Ts2 Maxis face tweaks - dark tan (3.5)

Just a simple skintone i made because i thought there was a tone missing between 3 (Left sim) and 4 (Right sim), so here's 3.5 (Middle sim)

It's geneticized and townified, i made the adult male face based off of my skin default. Feel free to edit it :)
