Whether he was the Eather of Worlds, The Fiend, or in The Firefly Fun House, whether he was by himself, with The Wyatt Family, with Matt Hardy, Randy Orton or Alexa Bliss, he always had our attention and our hearts.

He’ll go down in history as one of the most creative, brilliant wrestlers to ever exist. A genius. He gave so much to us… thank you, thank you for everything. Rest in Peace, legend.

SummerSlam was truly so mid to me.

None of the matches (with the exception of Shayna vs. Ronda) were actually bad but the whole show was just underwhelming.

Like truly the only interesting things that happened were Iyo's cash in and Jimmy turning on Jey but even these weren't exactly the most exciting things in the world.

Like, what was the point of having Bianca win just to be cashed in on? It's fine, whatever but it feels random. Why not just have Asuka retain so you could have Asuka vs. Iyo as a feud and then have Charlotte vs. Bianca as another feud? Oh wait, I forgot, Triple H sucks at booking women now for some reason. Can't afford to have 2 feuds on Smackdown (3 if you count Shotzi vs. Bayley)

Roman's matches are beyond formulaic. I felt tonight exactly the way I did when it was Roman vs. Sami before the match started. I was so excited before the match for the possibilities and then it just followed the same exact way they've been doing things. Opponent vs. Roman, help involved, that help is not enough so more help is involved. I felt the match could've been way more emotional than it was (at least to me) and it was a let down. Jimmy turning on Jey at least was an interesting enough twist.

Drew vs. Gunther was a good match but the fact that literally every single title reign lately has to break some sort of record for some reason, it was obvious Drew wasn't going to win, which made the match boring to me.

Smackdown tonight...I was doing well until the crowd started chanting “You Deserve It” to Sami, and then I straight up started to cry.

I’m so conflicted because I want to let go and enjoy and fully immerse myself into believing that Sami stands a chance to win.

But there’s part of me that just can’t forget that Roman Reigns has held the title for so long. And we’re so close to WrestleMania. And there’s the whole Cody factor.

I don’t want to let myself believe he has a chance because I don’t want to be disappointed.

But I just know tomorrow night, if he loses, I’m going to be ANGRY and I’m going to be in tears and that’s just so embarrassing. But I can’t help it.

Sami has never been this hot. This over. This close to the WWE world title(s).

I just want him to have that moment so bad. I’m genuinely considering not watching WrestleMania if he loses just because I don’t think I could stomach watching Sami have this moment so perfect, just for the titles to go to Cody. I know there’s a chance that Roman could just retain but...still.

I don’t want to hate on Cody but it’s so hard for me not to place a little bitterness onto him. I know, deep down, it’s not his fault. What’s he going to do? Say no to wrestling Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania?? Of course he isn’t so it’s not fair but it’s how I feel.

Anyways, ramble over. I just really want Sami to win so badly.

I know I go on this rant every time I post here but it is truly so frustrating to me that I can’t send messages to people, comment on posts, when I like/reblog a post my name doesn’t get added to the notes, my posts don’t show up in tags anymore and I do not understand why. I have even went to Tumblr itself and never heard back. I’m thinking about just starting a whole new blog but that would mean losing 10+ years of stupid wrestling takes. I’ve watched my favorite wrestler (Sami Zayn) start getting the recognition he deserves by the fans at large and had to fangirl by myself. I know this sounds probably stupid but I miss feeling part of the wrestling fan community. Anyways, regardless, #SamiMania and don’t forget to donate to Sami for Syria. :)

The fact that we aren’t getting Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania is something I may never be able to forgive Triple H for.

There’s so much in this moment: Jimmy rising to stand with his brother. Solo standing still. Roman’s baffled realization that control might be slipping away from him. But the thing that legit choked me up was the fans joining in instantly and freely out of love for Sami.  That transcends a storyline, that’s got some real magic to it.
