PLEASE READ>>> The world is set up in a way that puts people with mental illness at a disadvantage. Society often views mental illness as a disability; as something that makes a person less capable. This becomes problematic when employers turn away people with mental illness who are entirely qualified for the position they are applying for. Our organization aims to provide career opportunities and education for the mentally ill that they might not otherwise had. Our classes will help our clients to cultivate interests and figure out what career they wish to pursue. We also understand the u i que challenges can present them selves both at home and in the workplace. There are already plenty of hotlines people can reach out to if they are in a crisis situation, but what about non-crisis situations? We will create a hotline to address this exact issue. Our hotline will be a resource focused on preventing crisis situations and providing an anonymous way to just talk to a trained therapist about anything that might be bothering you. Our organization will not rest until every person, regardless of mental state, feels like the world is set up for them to succeed. What we need from you is input and support (NOT MONEY) we want to make sure this is something that the world and the mental health community actually needs, comment below to help us expand and change our idea to fit the needs of the community.
