Saw a sibling poll and needed to expand it because I fit, like. Mid youngest, youngest in theory only child in practice, and adopted. And I think they all have their own unique parts in the sibling ecosystem.

#only on my moms side #second oldest on my dads #but im the first kid my dad knew about #they didn’t learn I had an older half brother until I was nine and he was eleven #but effectively only because I didn’t grow up with my siblings at all #and my dad has two more kids now too who are like 14 and 16 years younger than me #so.. I’m 2nd of four but also kindest oldest/first on both sides and am effectively an only child

i can never write a soulmates au cause i very quickly stop thinking about romance and start thinking about the sociological implications of a world where soulmates are a confirmed verifiable thing

#this is why I love writing soulmate aus #I don’t usually write it in the fics but I spend so much time thinking about this stuff and it’s fun for me
