It’s wild to think that when we walk barefoot on the earth, electrons are being absorbed through our feet meaning we’re gaining antioxidants. These electrons are neutralizing reactive oxygen species which reduces inflammation, the root cause of so many different diseases. Earthing is improving stress levels, sleep, and pain and it’s stabilizing the electrical environment of our organs, tissues, and cells.
Our bodies rely on the earth and we are completely isolated ourselves from it. I know it sounds laughable to think that just walking barefoot has benefits but when you begin to dive deeper into the connection between the earth, ourselves and our health, it doesn’t just sounds like hippie poetry anymore. It’s science.
