Sorry I haven’t posted in a long time, I’ve been working on making a booklet!
Originally, I was going to write a whole book on tarot. I realized it wasn’t going to be as easy to learn about as I was hoping for if I made it a long book, so I am making a much shorter booklet instead!
It is 8 pages if you include the front and back covers.
Since it is a handmade booklet, I will need to charge for my time and efforts while making them. I’m not sure what would be a fair price for it. What would you pay for an 8 page paper booklet about tarot?
I will be giving updates as I continue my hard work!
My discord server is currently being revamped, if you are interested in tarot, hanging out, crystals, meeting new folks, you should consider joining!

Color Magick
Hello, I have made my grand return once again, I know you all were so worried :) /joking
Anyway, getting right to the point, today's topic is color magick, how it works, what colors mean, etc. I use color magick on a regular basis and I feel as if it is a fundamental to witchcraft.
As always, make sure you do your own independent research before stepping into a new type of magick, it'll save you later (literally and figuratively).
What is color magick anyway?
Color magick is utilizing colors for their spiritual properties rather than their aesthetics. It can be used in spells, art, fashion, makeup, just about everything where colors are involved. For example, I have a crocheted purple veil because purple is a color for intuition and divination. In my opinion, color magick doesn't get enough credit for all the ways we can incorporate it into our daily lives outside of our craft.
What do the colors mean?
This varies person to person, witch to witch, because we all interpret colors differently. For example, red for me means firey and explosive energy, while for someone else it means passion and desire. Generally, everyone can come to an overall consensus for what each color means and receive a similar message.
I won't list every color, but here are the ones I use the most and what they mean to me (meanings vary depending on context of the situation):
Pink: Love, desire, and motherhood
Red: Explosive energy, passion, fertility, fire, and anger
Green: Money, equilibrium, earth
Blue: Emotions, the moon, water, peace
White: Substitution for any color, purity, protection
Black: Banishing, protecting, warding away
Purple: Intuition, magick, divine energy
How can I use these colors in my craft and in life?
I use color magick when picking out my outfits. I wear a lot of black to ward away negative people and ward away energy that isn't mine. I do the same with my makeup, and what crystals I carry with me.
Most commonly, I'll light a candle of a certain color to attract something into my life, for example I will burn a green candle to enhance my finances, or a pink candle to enhance love in my romantic and platonic relationships.
I will also make sigils with certain colored markers depending on what I need, the one I use the most is black to ward things away.
These are the absolute basics of color magick. As always, use protection before trying new magick, you never know if it will come back to you later.
If you want to support me, consider donating to my $$$$app or reblogging. I am in the process of trying to move currently, so anything helps. $doithomie

Witch books are a pain in the ass when you're not a beginner!
When you're a beginner it's so easy, you just look up witchcraft books and you have hundreds to choose from all with the same information. It's so difficult to look for books about witchcraft that aren't for beginners or filled with misinformation, or are actually just mislabelled wicca.
So I've given up on searching for "witchcraft" books and gone into looking at specific research books instead. It can get pretty tedious when the books you want to read aren't easy guides with pretty covers but they're practical, go into a lot more depth and are WAYYY more credible.
I would totally recommend doing this if you've been stuck like I have. Don't worry about your topics being too niche or specific, I guarantee there's a PhD student somewhere who's written about it.
Here are some topics that you could start searching for:
magic in your cultural heritage
magic in a history/culture of interest (with respect to their boundaries)
historical development of a specific deity
religious archaeology
pop culture interpretations
biblical/Christian interpretations (King James I)
demons/the devil
monsters/cryptids
philosophers
performance and story telling
feminism (some books in this topic will be terfy in which case check the bibliography and reviews)
When you're looking at books check the bibliography! A credible source of information will have referenced numerous different sources from several different medias and viewpoints. If you're looking at a bibliography and it's all books about the same exact topic by similar people that's proof that the book is just a parody of a parody and there is nothing to gain.

🔮👻 The Basics of Samhain 👻🔮
Samhain is creeping up on us in 9 days! Many of us (including myself) are preparing festivities and activities to be done, entering the darker half of the year with a bang!!
This post will inform you on the basics of Samhain, such as why it is celebrated and how witches celebrate, how you can celebrate, and ways we can make this the best Samhain ever.
Pronunciation According to Google: So-Wen (Samhain)
Where Did Samhain Come From?
Samhain is a Gaelic holiday has been celebrated yearly for over 2,000 years. Celtic pagans would begin their celebration the evening of the 31st, usually continuing into the next day in some celebrations. Samhain is now observed by most witches, wiccans, and Celtic pagans.
What Is There To Celebrate?
Aside from celebrating the fall equinox, and the transition into winter, Samhain is when the veil between the Overworld and the Spirit Realm are thinned. This means interactions with the fae or spirits are more likely. Many use this day to celebrate loved ones who have passed on, or a day to celebrate spirits as a whole.
What Happens on Samhain?
On Samhain, celebration is very individualized depending on your own reason for celebrating, whether it is to remember those who have died or to recognize the spirits in your life.
It is common to cook/buy food and drinks as offerings to these spirits, and having dinner with them (this includes preparing the spirits their own plates). It is a belief that spirits will return to your home on Samhain seeking hospitality, and we should absolutely grant them such.
Costumes are worn to ward away malicious spirits, along with the carving of Jack-o-Lanterns.
Many will have bonfires and music, and participate in various divination methods in hopes of meeting a new spirit, or connecting with one that has passed.
Some people in participating communities will go door-to-door (in costume) reciting verses for food, either for themselves or for offerings. I believe this had a huge effect on the modern day Halloween.
This link has examples of divination rituals that Celtic people commonly did for Samhain, such as apple peelings to determine the name of their future spouse, and a ritual to determine if someone will live through the year!
Spirits deserve the same amount of respect as living people do, so acknowledge them this Samhain. After all, we will be one with them some day.

Alternatives to Jars!
Jars are expensive and take up too much space in my opinion. Here are some alternatives I have found for my craft!
Cardboard toilet paper holders (fold the ends down and you have a container!)
Envelopes
Pouches
Empty cups with lids
Bottles
Boxes of any size
Just about anything with a lid!
Jars aren’t required for witchcraft, but many witches find them useful for manifestation, protection, or even spell work!
I am working on a mini series of spells, oils, etc. that require minimal ingredients, for the witches that cannot buy herbs or don’t have access to tools!

✨How To Use Oils In Your Craft!✨
This very much depends on what kind of oil you have and what containers they are in. Always research your oil and herb combos to ensure safety before burning, consumption, or applying onto the skin.
Not doing so may result in allergic reaction, sickness, or other health effects.
This is also my experience mainly, so if you have other methods of using oils that’s totally okay.
Cooking
Burning
Anointing candles
Crystals (not safe for all crystals)
Skin application
Spell jars
Put a few drops in a bath
Put on written intent, sigils, etc to amplify effects
There are more crafty ways of using oils as well, but I have only used oils for these purposes!! I may update this list if I find more ways to utilize oil!

Hello! Can I have a general reading? AM ✨
Hello! And yes you may! I am going to focus on your energy and whatever cards pop out are for you!
Take what resonates, leave whatever doesn’t
Tumblr media
A sudden change is going to be coming to you. I cant tell you when, or what it will entail. This change is abrupt, fast, and changes thinks either for worse or for better. The page of pentacles is about new opportunities or manifestation, maybe you are finally manifesting something you want into reality. King of pentacles is about financial prosperity, control, and feeling secure!
The wheel of fortune is about cycles which I think is further reiterating The Tower, your fate is coming and your fate right now is change. (Bare in mind I believe your future isn’t fixed, you are able to try to avoid these things but I really don’t recommend it. It’ll find you one way or another) The knight of wands is about being adventurous, determined, and you’re making your own paths in life without regard for the beaten path already made, because yours is better for you anyway.
I hope this was insightful for you!

Hello, hope you're doing well. May I have a tarot reading on what to expect the rest of the month? Thank you -JR
Good morning! And of course you may! Thank you for the practice.
Disclaimer: not everything will resonate all the time, because I do not know anything about you. If it all resonates, awesome, if not, don’t worry about it.
To begin, I sound cleansed my occult tarot deck, that is the one I am feeling most drawn to for this type of reading and shuffled until cards flew out. My deck speaks for itself, I do not speak for it.
Tumblr media
On to your reading!
Tumblr media
1. Energy the month brings
This month for you brings an energy of love and passion from the heart. You are leading with your heart instead of your head, making you more compassionate. Maybe you are looking for a romance of your own, or looking for your own knight in shining armor. Regardless, love is in the air and you are basking in it
2. Something to leave behind or move past
The 6 of swords is about past burdens and is a warning to remain cautious. The swords are telling you to release whatever is holding you back. Whatever transition you are going through currently to recover from your past is not one of love and light and one that may be a little darker for you. Don’t let the darkness deter you from releasing your troubles. The other message here is the 8 of wands which is a sign of quick messages. I assume this will come into fruition very soon.
3. How you can get the most of this month
You got the magician, which is absolutely awesome. The magician is all about willpower, desire, and manifestation, this is a more spiritual leaning card. You seem to be called towards certain things and this card is telling you that you are able of manifesting what you want. You must channel your ever-growing energy in order to begin to manifest your desires into reality. This may be a period of rapid learning or rapid progression due to the high energy here.
4. Something about your spiritual journey you should explore
Death and the world! Death is all about transition, endings, and new beginnings, however in this sense it could mean death literally. Does death make you uncomfortable? Did you flinch when you saw you received death? Why is that? What is there to fear? Death is not meant to be feared. The world is all about balance so I feel the world may be telling you to learn how death balances out life. The world is all about everything working together harmoniously to create the world we walk on, life and death, love and war, positive and negative. Explore your feelings with death and see if you can create an understanding outside of fear or disregard.
5. Something to be mindful of this month
King of cups, so you are very emotionally tolerant. Just because you are tolerant doesn’t mean that you can let people step on you, you are still the king of cups. You’re very smart and very intuitive, you know when things are awry without anyone saying a word. You’re very tactful and are incredible at planning tactics. Bare in mind that the cups are emotional cards, and the heart may become bigger than your head. Don’t allow your emotions to control you, but allow them to influence you.
Thank you for allowing me to do this, and thank you for reading!
If you would like one, use the /ask thing to ask me a question, and I’ll get to you as soon as I can! These are practice for me

Comment or send me a question through the inbox or /ask thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will not answer:
- does my partner love me?
- When will I die?
- anything about death or dying really, unless it is about a spirit.
- yes or no questions
That’s basically it. Have fun ✨

Recipe for Attracting Money Oil
DISCLAIMER: If there is nothing in your life that could bring you money, or you don't do anything to try to earn money, you will not get money.
If you have various ways to receive money, and are open to money being given in new or strange ways, you are more likely to benefit

Divination Oil Recipe
I use this oil before I perform any form of divination, or before I use my psychic abilities at all. This oil will amplify any psychic energy you have, making divination significantly easier and clearer. I can not promise this will work for everyone, but it works great for me, which is why I am sharing this today.
There are no definitively measured ingredients, they are all just thrown together, add or remove ingredients as you see fit
Herbs:
Salt
Heather
Lavender
Thyme
Chamomile
Mint
Oils:
jojoba oil, you can use whatever oil you have available just make sure it is skin safe
a SMALL amount of marshmallow root (not necessary)
Shake aggressively, I put it into an oil roller but you can put it in whatever you want.
Let it sit for 14 days for maximum potency, but it is able to be used whenever you need it.
**This is NOT a substitution for protection and does not have many protective qualities, use without protection at your own risk.**
I have other successful recipes for oils as well if anyone would like them <3

Moon Phases and Their Meaning
The moon is an important part of witchcraft, the phase of the moon has its own spiritual meaning and practices that should be performed during that phase. This isn’t a fixed rule, but it gives your magick a little boost that it may need to come into fruition. Being in tune with the moon makes us stronger.
Checking the moon daily is a great way to keep track of the moon phases, along with having a moon calendar in your phone. I also track the sun on my phone, but that isn’t necessary, it’s my personal preference.
New Moon 🌑
The new moon is a time of new beginnings and setting intentions. Some use this as a time of contemplation and self reflection, but this can also be done in later moon phases.
Waxing Crescent 🌒
This is the official moon phase for setting intentions, but I always do it in the new moon. This can also be used as a time of action, to act on your intentions
First Quarter 🌓
The moon for making decisions is the first quarter moon, this is a great time to begin acting on your intentions if you haven’t yet.
Waxing Gibbous 🌔
This is a time to further refine your intention and fine tune it into exactly what you want, revisit your new moon and crescent work to do this accurately.
Full Moon 🌕
Full moon is a time of manifesting, sealing intentions, and release. Let go of your expectations and allow the universe to simply make it happen
Waning Gibbous 🌖
This is a moon phase to show gratitude for the universe, the people around you, yourself, and everything you care for. Gratitude is so important and is underrated in my opinion.
Last Quarter 🌗
The last quarter signifies forgiveness. What is still hurting you? What can you let go of? Remember that forgiveness isn’t for the person in question to feel better, it is only for you. Also remember that you do not have to forgive someone if you feel they do not deserve it.
Last Crescent 🌘
This moon phase is about surrendering. Hold gratitude in your heart and release what doesn’t serve you as you move into the darkness of the new moon. This is also a great time to reflect on yourself.
🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑
