Work, baby, study, family time, social life, relaxing time, break through communication problems in marriage.
Sounds simple enough, I mean after all there's 7 days in a week. Plenty of time to get all you need done plus more 👍.

"Own what you say."
Such a simple concept, and yet it took a stranger to say it out loud and explain for it to sink in.
For some of you this idea is just common sense; that what you say out loud are your own words, words that people hear and might respond to. It's called having a conversation.
That's generally how people communicate, right?
So why is this lady bringing it up?
Well let's just sat this lady has always had communication issues. From having a speech delay as a child to being super awkward around people to pretty much being extremely anxious having any kind of conversation with anyone that wasn't a good friend or an immediate family member.
So between strangers, work colleagues and yes even my own cousins, I would get super nervous and anxious about what I would say to them, how I would keep this conversation going and always, always, ALWAYS being worried about what they would think or how they would feel if I said this or that.
Really, how I managed to make any kind of friend baffles me.
But this. "Own what you say."
No it hasn't solved everything. But having this simple 'well dah' phrase in my corner has just given me some control back.
I own what I say. If I feel something then it's mine, if I have an opinion then it's mine. If I feel nothing or have no opinion then that's also mine.
Does that mean I have to share everything, no. But it's mine, and whoever I'm speaking to doesn't have to agree or accept it. They might get upset or angry. But at least I can easily stand by what I said because I own what I say and I chose to share it.
Ahah moment indeed.

I believe this is so important to do after any kind of workout and unfortunately I don't actually see many people stretching when I go to the gym.
Take it from someone who has a physical job AND a back breaking job at home (carrying and picking up baby), your body will thank you in the long run for those stretches!

PRO TIP: instead of thinking “i should be healthier/more organized/etc,” change your phrasing to “i’d like to become healthier” or “i’d like to learn to be more organized.” stop paralyzing urself with guilt for what you aren’t & start focusing on what you can be

Finally managed to get back to the gym!!
It feels so good to be back after almost a year thanks to pregnancy and coronavirus.
Taking it easy though:
15 squats
10 lunges
15 leg raises (knees bent)
5 russian twists with 3kg medicine ball
10 push ups (knees on floor)
And all wrapped up with a 1 min jog followed by 5 mins on bike to cool down 💪💪.
I know I'll be feeling this tomorrow, but still so happy to be back! 😄

It's been a good day with baby 😊.
Even though it was a little rocky this morning I'm happy I managed to get a completed heart at the end of the day.
I noticed the watch doesn't record very well, especially when I walk with the pram it doesn't register that I'm moving.
Hopefully once I get to the gym regularly it'll register more activity and I'll get more completed hearts 💜💚💙.
But, remembering it's not about the technology but that great physical and mental feeling you get after finishing a workout and knowing that you achieved something for yourself that day 💪🧠🫀🫁🙂.
Side note: We actually did an hour walk, but the watch is set to 30 mins. I think I can change the settings....but I like having it set to achievable outcomes 😊.

Raising kids is hard.
At least that's what they say. I've been told the next few years will be like walking through a thick, cloudy fog.
So are you telling me this feeling of having 3 additional arms stretched out of you and being pulled in all different directions doesn't disappear??
So then how hard? Where is the line from having "just" a bad day to being depressed? And if you need to ask then are you really depressed?
And of course the classic questions like "Is it just me?" "Does every parent go through this?" "Maybe I'm not coping as well as other people?"
It doesn't help that I am a big fat enormous introvert who needs significant alone time to sort through the jumble of emotions and feelings and thoughts from the day to find calm and to recharge.
It's still early days and baby is happy. I live for those morning smiles whether it's at 7am or 3am.
If I keep getting those smiles it'll all be worth it.

Why nuances every day?
Because some changes hit you like a sand bag to the face, that was my face 3 months ago after the birth of my daughter.
And other changes come on so subtly that you don't notice them until you realise how exciting it is to use mould killer.
