i was considering coming back from my hiatus but i just found out that the hatchery pair i was most excited to finish, one that took me months to breed, was copied by someone else with identical genes/colors/breeds because I posted my scries on tumblr before I gened them

and to top it all off, they have this in their bio. lol.

genuinely like. really unreasonably sad about this lmao! i know i can’t own a color + gene combo of course but to be so blatantly copied like this without any communication from this person whatsoever is super disheartening, especially with this in their bio, and especially one of my favorite projects :(
