I was going through my old files and realized I never posted this here. Ed has knack for flare and I thought he'd be great on stage. I still do.

I was and still am very proud of blend between the linework and the digital painting for image. Particularly all the metal rendered in the stage lighting.

The color wheel challenge has been good to push myself. I enjoyed planing out the poses for everyone. The only rule I gave myself was that each character had to be from a different show. I have the whole wheel and each section over in my red bubble, which is why you'll notice a bonus ladybug. Zag doesn't like fanart of there stuff so I subbed mars in.

This is my first finished piece of the new year and I’m happy with how she turned out! I really wanted to push and experiment with iridescent rendering and I’m happy where I’ve gone.

I just really gotta talk about how fucking devastating Elon Musk has been for my life, personally.

I had over 1k followers on twitter. This was the backbone of my art career! I had mutuals with artists who are actual honest to god household names, and had regular customers, and while it was still a VERY small business it was still a business in the art world. This new rule of not allowing links to other social media though would kill an artist, because the "marketing funnel" requires links to other sites.

Now? I basically have to start again from almost nothing. Because one oligarch threw tantrum after tantrum. Tumblr is my only real option, and lets be real, its still kinda chugging along. I have faith its getting better but for now its a slog getting any attention for anything.

Anyways please PLEASE i beg you, reblog EVERY small business post you encounter, no matter how small or even not quite what you love. A lot of people are being forced to completely start from nothing again and we NEED new followers to do so!

I love seeing all the love as the Lumity relationship grows. And I can never get enough of crossovers. I went through a lot of iterations with this piece and I’m really happy where I ended up. I knew I wanted to really push myself with background elements and I’m so happy with the way I’ve stylized the rocks breaking apart as well as the abomination goo wave.
