Hi all!
It's been a long time since I've posted, but I'm planning on getting back on the studyblr game! Here's a little update in case anyone is curious about what I've done in the past year:
-I started my doctoral program! I'm working towards my EdD.
-I bought a townhouse! 🏡
I hope you're all staying safe,
Oana

Trying this new method to organize the month. I'm always good about setting monthly goals, but not as good at following through. 😅 with this cutout method, I can see the goals I set for the month every single week! I like the look of this a lot, and hope it will be helpful for others, too!
I'm also trying this new type of weekly spread where I will draw lines out for each days to-do or events. It looks empty now, but it was SO easy and quick to set up. Again, I hope it's helpful!

We have MLK day off, so I spent this morning setting up my spread for the week! I'm trying to be healthier, so I've dedicated a page to tracking my calories and exercise for the week. How do you guys track your health? 😊

Filled in weekly spread from last week. Clearly not the best at filling in the weekend 😅

Finished my bujo for this upcoming week! I love creating the spreads, but then I have a hard time keeping up with it during the week (I just forget 😅). I'm going to try to hold myself accountable by posting filled-in spreads as well as these bare ones.
Does anyone else have issues keeping up with their spreads throughout the week? How do you remedy it? 😊

Time to set up this week's spread. I have the day off of work for Veteran's Day, so it's been a nice, slow morning over here. ☕🍁
I got these new stencils from Amazon, and they've been pretty nice! I'm not the best at making banners and the like, so these have been helpful.
I've also purchased these new pens off of Amazon, and I love them! They're the Micron 01, 03, and 05. I favor the 01. I just love how thinly it writes! Once I use up the rest of my pens (😅) I'm planning on only buying ultra-fine point pens like these. Highly recommend!

I made this tracker to get a sense of where I am in the 40-week school year. Yellow means it's a day off or a holiday, and red means it's a special type of school day (testing or otherwise). Once a day is over, I fill it in with orange. It's also nice to see the holiday breaks coming up. 😊
Any teachers here? What do you think?

I haven't been posting very often because every time I create a bujo spread, despite how simple it is, if I don't get it 100% perfect, I don't post.
So here's to overcoming perfectionism.
Let's not be so hard on ourselves. Just because our lines aren't straight or we had to scratch something out or our doodles didn't come out as planned doesn't mean we shouldn't post that photo. ❤

I'm starting my first year teaching this month, and I'm so nervous/excited! I'll be teaching ELLs in 9-12th grade, and I'm currently trying to brainstorm some unit ideas. (I just found out that my class will not be a resource room (aka study hall), and that I have to actively work on teaching and assessing skills. A little bummed that I didn't know this at the beginning of the summer so I could have planned more thoroughly! 😅) If you have any tips for a new teacher, I'd love to hear them! Thanks in advance!

I love your bullet journal! It’s so neat and more minimalist than anything I’ve tried, but still super pretty.
Hi!Thank you! I'm glad you like it. I like the minimalist look of it because I get overwhelmed by clutter. 😅

Trying out a new bujo spread this week. In addition to the daily slots, I've added space for a weekly to do in the upper left hand side as well as space for notes/highlights in the bottom right hand side. Do you have any suggestions for minimalist bujo spreads? 🤓

In my new school, the majority of ELL students are Hispanic, so I'm brushing up on my Spanish in order to better help them 🤓 I'm also trying to get better about drinking water throughout the day. Usually I just start with coffee and keep drinking it until I'm super dehydrated 😅 Starting with a big glass of water in the morning has helped tons! Finally, I was gifted this wood wick candle, and it's the perfect scent for summer study sessions. All my candles are for fall/winter, so this was a nice addition. The sound the wood wick makes is lovely. 😍

Minimalist bujo to do list and my new favorite candle ☕ Since I got back from my trip overseas, I've felt like I don't have much time to get everything done before the school year begins (I'll be in my first year teaching!), so having a simplified list helps a ton.

34/100 days of productivity Set up the new bujo for April! It's starting to feel like springtime in Chicago, so I tried to use a season-appropriate color scheme 🌱

33/100 days of productivity My spring break is winding down, so I'm trying to get back into the habit of waking up earlier. This has been my go to breakfast and my go to book this past week. Toast with vegan margarine and tomatoes and The Four Agreements. Have any of you read this book? What are your thoughts?

In Romanian, we don’t say “Cheers” when toasting, instead we say “Noroc” which translates into “Luck,” as in you’re wishing your toasting partner good fortune.
