i see posts here about how people are so mortified when they are acknowledged as being a regular customer somewhere that they never return. cowards. the employees at taco bell treat me like a celebrity. like royalty. i am their strange little pet customer who gets traded along as staff comes and goes. they know my car before i even speak in the drive-thru speaker. today i was 2 hours late and she ran over and squealed that she "thought i'd left them!" and that she "made my order with extra love!" and you what, she did

#the turkish place downtown closed late last year to move down the road and it reopened in like. mid-feb i think? #anyway i went there for the first since they reopened and the old turkish bloke saw me come in and was like 'i missed you boss! you need to #he gave me a free chai and chips with my kebab #that dude rocks #i love being a regular at places #the baristas at the coffee shop on the way to work know if i need sugar in my coffee depending on how i respond to their good morning state

do you guys ever get annoyed that like. we have bodily needs.

like, sure, I don't mind eating a lil snack or drinking something tasty, BUT it annoys me that I have to do that in order to live.

like, I can't have little treats all the time, no, I have to eat regular meals, because otherwise the body will get upset. and most of the times, the body will also get upset if you eat something in particular, because it's dramatic like that

I like sweet fizzy drinks, but I gotta drink way more than I would like to in order to stay hydrated. and best way to do so is to drink water & that does NOT spark joy, the flavor usually is off, boring and annoying. not to mention if you drink enough, you gotta go to the bathroom so often, such an annoyance

like. do you guys get me.

#my biggest gripe about bodily needs is the need to sleep and rest #i actively engage in eating and drinking. its part of my 'live life deliciously' mantra #but i just hate _having_ to sleep #i like sleeping but like as a recreational activity
