The urge to combine media I am interested in makes me imagine stuff like a hack n slash, rhythm dancing game and a 2D fighter spinoffs of Apex
I hate it 😭

i call my parents and say ‘yeah i can’t do family stuff tonight, i got too much stuff to do for school’ and i e-mail my professor and say ‘i can’t do my assignments tonight, work got crazy’ and i text my boss and say ‘sorry i can’t work late tonight, i gotta some family stuff’ and through this triangulation of deceitful excuses i at last will be free

God, I love Ryuji. Persona 5 really spends over an hour in the beginning hammering home just how badly society has screwed over the protagonist for doing the right thing. Literally everyone he meets, authority figures that he should be able to rely on, like cops, teachers, and parental figures, treat him like garbage. You could hardly blame him if he chose to become a villain after everything he goes through, after seeing how being good worked out for him.
And then you have Ryuji, a loud, blond punk. Basically, the poser boy for being a bad influence. Literally the first thing he does on-screen is curse out a teacher. He’s angry, rude, and confrontational. And yet, the moment the protagonist is in danger, he grabs a guy over twice his size and yells for the protagonist to run.
Like…Ryuji single-handedly restored the protagonist’s faith in people. Because Ryuji helped him, a total stranger, just like he helped that struggling woman. It proves to the protagonist that his decision to help was not a mistake, despite what everyone has been telling him. That he is not alone in wanting to stand up to injustice. And this motivates the protagonist to awaken, because he won’t let Ryuji be punished for doing the right thing the way he was punished. Everything that follows, the whole plot of the game, happens because Ryuji was willing to risk his life to help some guy he didn’t even know.
