hii :3 mimi here! im a south asian lesbian that goes by he/star/rose prns. i love reading (specifically fanfiction that’s found family or romantic) and writing (often my ocs in aus together). however, it takes a long time for me to introduce these hobbies irl due to stigma and me having a hard time to trust others in my life (got kinda bullied by so called “close friends” in my life) i got a lot of internalized anger and frustration bc of that, and it only grew at ppl taking advantage of my role as a therapist friend. hence why i act so reserved now, and often push ppl away, in fear of slipping to that slippery stope again. however, with therapy and strong support from my mom, i’ve been getting better and slowly standing up for myself, addressing my anger and past overall. my biggest improvement is my ability to stand up for my thoughts and beliefs, whereas before i’d always conform to what others want. and i think in a romantic relationship, i’d advocate for someone who gives as much as they take. bc i no longer believe i deserve someone who only takes and takes.
