sumi i love the coloring in your art so ive been wanting to know how you do it!!
thank u bestie ✋
i tried my best to be as descriptive as i can and include many screenshots of stuff so i hope this is as helpful as can be to understand my art !
this is a tutorial on how I DO THINGS and MY ART PROCESS, you do not have to follow it to a T and its not things set in stone. you can experiment as much as you want with everything mentioned, and i hope it can or will help as many as possible in any way
also talked more in depth about my brushes in this post!
So you've learned the 12 principles of animation but don't know where to actually apply them? Fear not!! For here is my step-by-step process, very very condensed, into one singular giant GIF.
Hope it helps!

I submitted this free app to the Windows Store/Microsoft Store.
It's a GIF viewer. It lets you take a close look at them.
You can search for "gif enjoyer" on the Windows Store/Microsoft Store app. It's the one with the icon that looks like this:
I'm still updating it with a few more stuff but it takes a few days for the store to approve some updates. I'd like to keep the app simple and focused on what it does though.
If you find this app useful in your work, please consider a contribution to my Ko-fi! 🙏
Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.
btw with art when people say 'youve got to do it scared' 'youve got to draw bad' 'youre not gonna know how to do it until you do it' it sounds like bullshit but its true. 90% of art is just getting over the fear that it's not going to be good enough to deserve to be made in the first place. but you're here. you're alive and, with no need to justify that, you're going to make art. it's just part of being alive. you'll spend so long worrying you aren't doing it good enough that you'll look back and realized you didn't live a single day of it.
