Hi
I do not know the direction of this blog going forward - probably less of a Wookieepedia summary thing but, regardless.
My latest Star Wars thoughts have been absolutely dominated by the sheer beauty of the Empire at War Phoenix Rising mod.
With more than 17 years in the making it is the most canon accurate depiction of galactic strategy that could possibly exist in a playable state. The very mechanics breathe flavor.
If you ever played Empire at War or perhaps own it and follow this blog lol please give it a look. It is ridiculous. I've sunk weeks into it.

Zolan was a Mid Rim planet home to the Zolander and offshoot Clawdite species. The Clawdite species originated from genetic experimentation to protect Zolanders against a meteorite-borne skin contagion, and their delineation was a point of contention on the world. For much of its history, Clawdites were treated as second-class and untrustworthy.

Clawdites were a species hailing from the Mid Rim planet Zolan. In ancient times, genetic modification caused the Zolander people to develop shapeshifting powers. These modified individuals became the first Clawdites. Clawdite abilities allowed them to perfectly replicate any similarly-sized humanoid.

The Ysanna were a species of Force-sensitives native to Ossus, in the Outer Rim. Descended from Jedi survivors of the cataclysmic supernova that left Ossus barren, many of the Ysanna’s traditions reflected the tenets of the Jedi Order. Although primitive, they were resourceful, and some warriors were able to direct weapon projectiles with the Force.

Munifex-class light cruisers were midsize cruisers, often used by the Empire. Heavily armed for their size, the Munifex boasted many turbolaser and ion cannons, in addition to a squadron of TIE fighters. Despite their powerful armament, their high crew requirements and cumbersome nature led them to be sidelined to lower-priority system defense duty. They were nicknamed Class 1000 cruisers due to there ubiquitous nature in systems defense.
