“there’s a storm out, so i don’t think you should go home yet,” suna said as your study session finished and although you already knew that you groaned at the fact that he had to point the obvious, “there’s no point in groaning i’m hating the fact that you’re stuck with me in my house, more than you are.”

hours passed, the storm grew even worse and you and suna sat in silence, your only interactions being when your eyes would meet and you’d both glare at each other, until you broke the vast quietness with a yawn, prompting suna to utter words you’d never thought would escape his lips.

“it’s late, and the storm isn’t gonna let up any time soon so you should sleep over.”

“sleep over?” you repeated, “here?”

“no, outside,” he deadpanned and you rolled your eyes in response.

“okay, i obviously don’t have any pyjamas so do you have a spare shirt or something i can borrow,”

“no,” he said giving you a strange look, “just sleep in your underwear or keep your clothes on or something,”

“what?” you scoffed at his suggestion as he starts to take off his own clothes stripping down into just boxers as if it’s not a big deal.

“don’t worry i’m not going to perve on you, you’re definitely not my type,” he said and you didn’t want to admit it but his words made you feel a bit bitter. suna climbed into his bed, leaving you awkwardly standing —still dressed in the clothes you were in— in the middle of the room, waiting on suna to give you something for you to sleep on.

“suna, what am i going to sleep on?” you questioned.

“i don’t know the floor?” he said and you sigh at his nonchalance.

“i’m not sleeping on your floor,” you said.

even though he wasn’t facing you he could feel your annoyance brewing, so he stood up and picked up a blanket tossing it on the floor beside his bed, “there you have a blanket, there is a floor, now sleep,” and returned back to his bed.

you begrudgingly, took off the layers of clothing you were in, wrapped yourself in the single blanket left on the floor and cursed suna as you tried to drift off to sleep.

after 30 minutes — when you surprisingly fell asleep — you were woken up by suna who’s foot was digging into your back, looking frazzled. “you really are a deep sleeper, god” he commented as you looked up at him, with wide eyes.

“why is your foot in my back,” you asked and he moved his foot away but remained quiet, his head slightly facing down and you were confused until a bang from the weather outside made suna jump, “suna, are you scared of the thunder?”

“no,” he muttered, until another bang arrived and he jumped again, “maybe…”

“oh,” you didn’t know what to say, or how you would be of much comfort to suna but you knew he must’ve woken you up for a reason, “do you want me to share a bed with you?”

“if you want to, i guess it wouldn’t be bad,” he murmured.

“do you want me to?”

“just get in the damn bed,” he said, getting back into his bed but leaving a space for you to join him.

it was awkward —at first— as you were face to face, staring at each other with suna jumping every now and again and the constant bangs that came from the storm outside. you could feel him shaking slightly next to you, and your hands instantly were placed onto his and you rubbed circles onto his hands, smiling slightly as you see him visibly relax.

“thanks,”

“no problem,” you said “i didn’t expect you to be scared of thunder.”

“well it’s not like you know anything about me,” he said offended, as if you were insulting him.

“i wasn’t trying to be mean or anything, i don’t know why you hate me.”

“i’ve never said i hated you.”

“you called me a bitch when you first met me,” you pointed out.

“no i said i think you act like one, not like you are one,” he countered.

“well do you think i act like a bitch now?”

“no, not at all actually.”

with the closeness of your faces and the way your hands felt rubbing against each other and your bare legs naturally intertwined you felt it was right to press your lips against Suna.

at first he was shocked and you could tell by the way, his lips parted that he definitely wasn’t expecting you’re advances but he felt the same ease that you did and relaxed into the kiss until the thunder banged again and he flinched backwards shocking you both.

“sorry,” he quickly apologised, feeling embarrassed about ruining the moment you were having but you easily tugged him into your arms with his head resting on your chest and Suna finally had a goodnights sleep through the storm.

“there’s a storm out, so i don’t think you should go home yet,” suna said as your study session finished and although you already knew that you groaned at the fact that he had to point the obvious, “there’s no point in groaning i’m hating the fact that you’re stuck with me in my house, more than you are.”

hours passed, the storm grew even worse and you and suna sat in silence, your only interactions being when your eyes would meet and you’d both glare at each other, until you broke the vast quietness with a yawn, prompting suna to utter words you’d never thought would escape his lips.

“it’s late, and the storm isn’t gonna let up any time soon so you should sleep over.”

“sleep over?” you repeated, “here?”

“no, outside,” he deadpanned and you rolled your eyes in response.

“okay, i obviously don’t have any pyjamas so do you have a spare shirt or something i can borrow,”

“no,” he said giving you a strange look, “just sleep in your underwear or keep your clothes on or something,”

“what?” you scoffed at his suggestion as he starts to take off his own clothes stripping down into just boxers as if it’s not a big deal.

“don’t worry i’m not going to perve on you, you’re definitely not my type,” he said and you didn’t want to admit it but his words made you feel a bit bitter. suna climbed into his bed, leaving you awkwardly standing —still dressed in the clothes you were in— in the middle of the room, waiting on suna to give you something for you to sleep on.

“suna, what am i going to sleep on?” you questioned.

“i don’t know the floor?” he said and you sigh at his nonchalance.

“i’m not sleeping on your floor,” you said.

even though he wasn’t facing you he could feel your annoyance brewing, so he stood up and picked up a blanket tossing it on the floor beside his bed, “there you have a blanket, there is a floor, now sleep,” and returned back to his bed.

you begrudgingly, took off the layers of clothing you were in, wrapped yourself in the single blanket left on the floor and cursed suna as you tried to drift off to sleep.

after 30 minutes — when you surprisingly fell asleep — you were woken up by suna who’s foot was digging into your back, looking frazzled. “you really are a deep sleeper, god” he commented as you looked up at him, with wide eyes.

“why is your foot in my back,” you asked and he moved his foot away but remained quiet, his head slightly facing down and you were confused until a bang from the weather outside made suna jump, “suna, are you scared of the thunder?”

“no,” he muttered, until another bang arrived and he jumped again, “maybe…”

“oh,” you didn’t know what to say, or how you would be of much comfort to suna but you knew he must’ve woken you up for a reason, “do you want me to share a bed with you?”

“if you want to, i guess it wouldn’t be bad,” he murmured.

“do you want me to?”

“just get in the damn bed,” he said, getting back into his bed but leaving a space for you to join him.

it was awkward —at first— as you were face to face, staring at each other with suna jumping every now and again and the constant bangs that came from the storm outside. you could feel him shaking slightly next to you, and your hands instantly were placed onto his and you rubbed circles onto his hands, smiling slightly as you see him visibly relax.

“thanks,”

“no problem,” you said “i didn’t expect you to be scared of thunder.”

“well it’s not like you know anything about me,” he said offended, as if you were insulting him.

“i wasn’t trying to be mean or anything, i don’t know why you hate me.”

“i’ve never said i hated you.”

“you called me a bitch when you first met me,” you pointed out.

“no i said i think you act like one, not like you are one,” he countered.

“well do you think i act like a bitch now?”

“no, not at all actually.”

with the closeness of your faces and the way your hands felt rubbing against each other and your bare legs naturally intertwined you felt it was right to press your lips against Suna.

at first he was shocked and you could tell by the way, his lips parted that he definitely wasn’t expecting you’re advances but he felt the same ease that you did and relaxed into the kiss until the thunder banged again and he flinched backwards shocking you both.

“sorry,” he quickly apologised, feeling embarrassed about ruining the moment you were having but you easily tugged him into your arms with his head resting on your chest and Suna finally had a goodnights sleep through the storm.
