hi would you mind doing prompt 10 with joshua bassett pls? thank yooou!!
Prompt(s): “Stay?”
Prompt Masterlist: x
The wind was picking up speed as the leaves swirled around the backyard. The rustling of leaves and the whistle of wind sending a shiver through her body. The darken sky a clear giveaway that a storm was brewing on the horizon. Tugging on the sleeves of her (his) hoodie, she turned her attention back to the mug that was before her.
"you know, the weather is suppose to get really bad later.." he mumbled from somewhere behind her. She rolled her eyes looking back at her best friend.
"Ya know Josh, most sane people would be getting ready to leave.." she mumbled picking up the mug and headed towards the kitchen. "which is something I should also be doing.." she pointed out dumping the rest of the tea out.
"Or.."
"Or what?" she mumbled refusing to meet his eye. They had been doing a weird little dance between friendship and a little something more. Everyone could see there was something there yet, neither of them were willing to cross that line just yet.
"stay?"
"Stay?" she mumbled, turning to look back at Josh who now had seemed to find the backsplash highly interesting.
"I mean, it's like not you haven't stayed the night before.." he mumbled as she rolled her eyes.
"Josh, it's different now.." she mumbled looking up at the ceiling as she tried to find the correct works to say. The last thing she needed was to be stepping on his toes. "We're different.."
"Are we though?"
"I don't know Josh, this is all so confusing. I don't get it, and I'm confused. I don't have the energy to keep fighting with you and doing this weird little dance we're doing.." she mumbled as he looked back at her.
"Than what?"
"If you can't talk to me like an adult after what happened, I'm not sticking around. You have my number."
"But the storm-"
"Don't worry, I can clearly take care of myself. You should know that better than anyone.." she mumbled, he walked dumbfounded as she took her things and left him in the silence of his apartment

11 w/ Brad please. Thank you
Prompt(s): 'you seem like a bad boy/girl type.'
Prompt mastlist: x
She sucked in the inside of her cheek as she eyed the man sitting across from her. Her eyes traced the rim of the wine glass that was placed before her, she hummed softly in agreement as her date when on about some subject she had no interest in. Sighing, softly her eyes drifted along the the room before they landed on a head of full brown hair.
"What do you think?"
She blinked rapidly turning back to him with a soft smile. Chewing on the inside of her cheek as she parted her lips lightly to speak before being cut off.
"I think we should-"
"Um, don't you think that's a little much?" she mumbled as he looked her over with a blank expression. She fought the urge to roll her eyes as he went on to explain whatever point it was he was trying to make.
"So you get it? It's really not that big of a deal.." he mumbled with a shrug as he picked at the salad that was placed before him.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom.." she muttered as she stood up slowly placing the napkin on the side of the plate.
Tugging on the ends of her dress, she let out a breath she didn't even believe she was holding. Her hands calming as she entered the small hallway.
"You know, you seem like a bad boy type of girl.." a voice came from behind making her jump at the sound. "kinda disappointed in you.."
She looked over her shoulder to be meet by the same pair of brown eyes that caught her attention earlier. He most definitely more handsome up front, he looked her over with a small smile as she chuckled.
"Hmm what makes you think that?"
He let out a chuckle shoving his hands in his pocket. Her eyes trailing over his body.
"well for once, you didn't seem the slightest big interest. Also he is the most proper lad you'd ever walk through that door with.."
"For the record, there's nothing wrong with shopping the market.." she mumbled picking her nails. "Plus, how would you even know?"
"darling, I own this bar and from what I can tell you aren't the least bit interested in that block over there. So how about you ditch him and come with?"

Hello! Can you pls do this week’s 15 with Brad?
Prompt: "You are a terrible liar"
Prompt Masterlist: x
---------
He looked at her with a raised eyebrow, as she rocked softly on her feet. Her hands behind her back and a certain glint in her eyes making his suspicion grow. They hadn't been together long, but Bradley knew enough to know when his girl was up too sometime.
"Anything you want to tell me?" he hummed leaning forward with a soft smile. His eyes tracing over her face, as she let out a soft giggle connecting their lips.
"Missed you.." she finally breathed out causing him to smile softly and tugging her closer into his embrace.
He hummed out a response as she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck tugging him impossibly closer to her. His smile widen, before their eye contact broke.
"What was that?"
"What?"
"You are a terrible liar, darling.." he chuckled softly as he walked around her to get himself a cup of coffee. She looked at him in confusion knowing he had something more to add to his little statement. "I just heard a few things from a few people.."
"What's that suppose too mean?"
He shrugged pulling out two glasses of wine before filling one up and handing it to her. She licked her lips before taken a sip and trying to think what she said.
"Oh you know.." he mumbled as he looked her over before something finally clicked.
"How snitched?"
"No one snitched, you just aren't great at keeping secrets my love.."
She rolled her eyes leaning against the cool stone as their eyes met. His eyes studying her with a shimmer that made her heart skip a beat and her hands to get slightly sweaty.
"Oh yeah, that what's the big secret Simpson?"
"We're having a baby, which reminds me.." he mumbled leaning over and quickly shoving the glass from her hand making her blink rapidly trying to digest everything that was just said to her.
"Wait-huh?"
"You're pregnant that's what you're hiding from me."
He watched as she doubled over in laughter making him frown as he took in her reaction. Her eyes clouded with tears as the words he spoke kept repeating themselves in her head.
"Darling, that is perhaps the craziest thing I've ever heard come out of your mouth.." she finally spoke as she calmed down a bit. "for the record I'm not expecting, but I do have a surprise."
"I don't get it, Tristian said-"
"Said that we're having a baby right?"
Brad nodded his head as he watched her pull out her phone and cutest little puppy showed up on her screen.
"This is our baby.."

Ten Stages: Stage One| Tom Holland
Tumblr media
Stage One: Realization, the stage where they slowly start to realize that they are falling for someone. Where Tom has a sudden realization thanks to his best mate Harrison Osterfield.
She was running late, a bit later than usual. Checking his watch once more, Tom found himself humming along to the slightly over-played tone filling the car. The hot Virginia sun causes sweat to form on his forehead; reaching over, he quickly switched the AC settings knowing she'd complain the moment she got inside the car. Biting his bottom lip, he felt a wave of relief wash through him as he watched her walk out of the building. Hair in a neat ponytail, her figure hugged by a dress that looked way too good on her. Her light pink blazer rested on her arm as she waved goodbye to a colleague before making her way over to his car.
"Ah always a gentleman.." she hummed in approval watching as he swiftly got out of the car and opening her door.
Giving her his signature boyish grin, he leaned close to her, placing a soft kiss onto her cheek. Closing her door, she couldn't help but roll her eyes, watching as he climbed back in. Tom watched as she fiddled with the climate control on her side from the corner of his eyes.
"You sure you aren't going through menopause or something.." he mumbled, backing out of the spot and soon driving them towards their weekly lunch date.
"Isn't that your job to know.." she hummed, pulling her phone out from her bag. "Plus, I think I'm a bit to young for that Thomas.." she mumbled.
"Well aren't you a doctor.." he huffed out as she took this chance to slap him across the head. The loud groan that escaped his lips was enough the have a satisfied sigh escaping her own.
"Besides the point Holland, how was the first half of work? Any life saving surgery?"
He shrugged, he loved what he did, and every day, he was thankful for it. Sure it was hard work to get where he was now, but here he stood. Now three years into residency, he had somewhat of an idea of what he wanted to do. After learning that a position would be opening up at the hospital, he knew this is where he was meant to be.
"Not really, pretty slow today.."
She nodded her head; Tom was a bit further along than she was. He was nearing the end of his term and now had a whole different set of pressure resting on his shoulders.
"A spot is opening up at the hospital though.." he mumbled once they were seated at the country club—the same country club where they had first been introduced.
"Wow Tom, are you gonna apply?" She asked with wide eyes. They hadn't talked much about his plans after med school; she knew he had some sort of idea of staying local. "Is it in the department you're in now?"
"Um it's actually in the trauma department.." he stated as she nodded her head. This was the first time he was actually voicing his future plans with her. It wasn't that he kept her in the dark or that she felt entitled in being informed. Tom was her best friend, and she just wanted to support him in any way possible.
"Wow that's huge.." she stated as he nodded his head. He knew she had been seeing or talking to some guy from the hospital. It was possibly the first time since March that she had actually gone out on a date. Tom doesn't know if she went on a date or if they even still talked.
"Not sure if it's something I want though."
Y/N knew that was a code for closing that conversation, so she did just that. In an instant, their discussion switched to the fact that she will be gone for a few days. Tom had promised to look after her place along with being on dog sitter duties for Layla. He hummed softly as she basically gave him a tiny little run down of her short weekend trip and promising takeout the moment she's back. He knew it was a code word for debriefing after spending a few days confined with her family members.
"Harrison's coming down right?" She asked once they were seated at their usual table. "He texted me asking if I'll be around.."
"Yeah, he's staying a couple days.." he mumbled, eyes scanning the menu though it was kinda pointless. He already knew both their words.
"Hmm, it'll be good for you." She mumbled, clearing her throat. As much as y/n hated to admit, she knew this time was difficult for any medical student. The ending was nearing, and the sudden pressure to have everything set in stone was terrifying. However, she knew as much as anyone that Tom was in a much different mindset than when they first met.
The Tom Holland sitting before her was different; he had a future planned out for himself. Sure, he didn't plan ahead like she had, but the small amount he did was a great start. She also knew that pushing him into making decisions was never an intelligent choice; Tom knew what he wanted and had all the necessary tools to pursue whatever it was he wanted in life. One thing she was clear on was that he was staying in Virginia.
"Can I ask you something.."
She looked up at him nodding her head. His tone was slightly different, closer to the one he used the morning after their last candle and wine night. The same night where she may have cried a bit too much in his guest room.
"That night at the beach, when when we made the bet, where you in a sense preparing yourself? You know, for like the breakup?" He asked softly, thanking the waiter as they set their drinks down.
She looked at him a little dumbfounded, not really knowing what to say. She knew what she had to say, but the words couldn't seem to come out. She looked at him for a few seconds, mind racing before finally speaking.
"No, I wasn't. If I'm being completely and utterly honest with you Tom, I thought Marc was maybe the one. We were together for so long and everything was so close to perfect. I don't think I really ever saw us ending.."
He nodded his head, ignore the slight sting upon hearing those words, not that he was surprised. It hurt him to know that something that she believed in so desperately ended without any explanation. He couldn't even begin to imagine what she was feeling or what she thought the moment everything sunk in. However, Tom also knew y/n was a lot stronger than everyone gave her credit for.
"Have you talked to him?"
"No, he didn't answer the first couple of texts I sent. So I guess I kinda got the hint you know. I'm not necessarily bothered by it, I mean I was in the beginning but now it kind feels numb."
"Shouldn't you like talk to a professional love.." he mumbled as she smiled at him softly. "I know it's in a sense traumatizing.."
"Don't worry doctor, I talk to my shrink about it. Im kinda coming to terms with the fact that maybe we weren't meant to be.." she mumbled as he nodded her head. "I just, I'm focusing on myself and getting through all this. If love comes my way it comes my way..."
"How knows darling, the one might be right under your nose." He chuckled, leaning over to bop her on the nose. He couldn't help the laugh that escaped his lips, watching her nose scrunch up and eyes crinkle up.
"God I hate you sometimes.."
It's been two days since Y/N had left for New Hampshire on a small family getaway. As much as she wanted to drag him along, and as much as Tom hated to admit it, a weekend with the Y/L/N sounded pretty amazing; Harrison finally got some time off and was coming to visit. He was had just finished stocking his fridge with a few essential items the two would need before the door open and the sound of barking welcomed the blond inside the townhouse.
He couldn't help the sense of familiarity that washed over him seeing his best friend come into view. Tom hated to admit it, but he needed to see him, more than he could like to admit. After a hug that might have lasted a few seconds longer, they were both drowning in beer and one of Harrison's favorite dishes made by y/n.
"Where is our own personal pyschatrists anyways?" he asked before taking a sip of his beer.
"Went up north to visit family, something about get together or whatever.."
Harrison nodded his head, picking at the label on his beer. The two had done a decent amount of catch-up, but he couldn't seem to notice the lack of mention of his neighbor.
"Marc must be happy to see her.." Harrison mumbled as Tom tensed up at the name. He wasn't sure what Harrison did and didn't know. "I actually ran into him a few days ago."
Tom choked slightly on his beer as he looked back at him at a loss. He wrecked his brain on what he could say but kept coming out short. The one thing coming to mind was just blurring out how Marc suddenly stopped responding without an explanation. How he suddenly can't stop thinking about their stupid bet, and how every day the chances of becoming a reality increase.
"Mate, they aren't together anymore..."
"Stop bullshitting me Holland, Marc looked very much in love with her when I asked him how things were between them.."
Tom couldn't help but scoff, thinking back to the night she had shown up with too many bottles of wine and a broken heart.
"Mate he ghosted it, thats a pretty funny way of showing your love."
"Fuck, I had no idea."
"No one did mate."
The past few days were pleasant and relaxing; the two spent time together. Harrison was just what time needed, and within the short few days Harrison was there, Tom realized a couple of things:
One that he couldn't possibly live without both Y/N and Harrison in his life.
Two that he was going to take the position at the Trauma Department.
"Thomas Stanley did you miss me..." she giggled softly as he brought her into a bone-crushing embrace. The sigh that escaped his lips was overwhelming.
Maybe, you don't see her as just a friend, mate. I don't do half of the shit you do with her, with Jessica.."
"Shut up, Y/N.." he mumbled, slightly pushing her away while shaking Harrison's voice out of his head. "I got that wine you told me about.."
"Yum, it's good." she stated as she took a seat at the island. He couldn't help but smile as she leaned over, smelling the candle he had picked out. "Cactus Bloom?"
"Its a good debriefing scent, not too intesne.."
I don't bother to memorize small insignificant facts about just some random girl, not even if we're close. I'd understand a few minor details, but not all.
She watched as he poured them both a glass before handing her a plastic spoon and pushing a carton of takeout towards her. She hummed in appreciation, sending him a wink.
"So how was your few days with Harrison?" she asked, swirling the pasta around. "How's he doing?"
"He's doing, says the kids say he speaks funny.."
"He does speak funny, you both do.." she hummed, locking eyes with him and a wide grin. "But its a cute funny.."
"Funny."
She hummed, sending him a wink before taking a few more sips of her wine. He sighed, leaning back in his seat as he took a good look at her. She looked different; she was happier, lighter even. It was clear these few days away did good on her, and he was glad.
You notice the little things about her Tom, from the color of her nails to when her mood shifts. No one reads that deep unless they fancy someone.
"I'm gonna take the spot in the truma department.."
Her lips formed an 'O' before launching herself into his arms. Her lips lightly brushing the skin against his neck, causing his arms to hold her a little tighter.
Now tell me, Holland, how does she make you feel? Don't hold back anything Tom, it's me. You can be honest, mate. Do you fancy Y/N?
"God, Tommy I'm so happy for you.."
The way her eyes sparkled caused a storm to awaken within him. His heart was beating a bit too fast, the sudden urge to pull her into a kiss. The feeling was overwhelming as she started to ramble still in his embrace.
It was at that moment that the realization kicked in. Tom Holland was starting to fall for his best friend, and he wasn't sure how to deal with it.

@mannien thank you!! I’m so excited for everyone to get to read this series! It’s definitely one of my favorites by far
Ten Stages Prologue| Tom Holland
Tumblr media
Coping strategies can be described as psychological patterns that individuals use to manage thoughts, feelings, and actions. Every single person has their unique technique when dealing with specific situations at hand. For Y/N and Thomas, it was simple; it wasn’t necessarily something she would recommend to a patient of hers’s but it worked for her and Thomas. It had almost become a routine in a sense for the pair, they couldn’t pinpoint when it had occurred, but it was a system that worked for them. It was a candle burning, a glass or two of wine, and some take-out.
The night she showed up at his house, hair a mess and eyes slightly swollen, Tom knew this was a little different than before. She had a few too many bottles of wine in her arms, and her bag had a sweater sleeve hanging from it. She looked like the same girl he knew since the beginning of medical school, but yet she looked different. The version of Y/N standing before him was a stranger.
Tom and Y/N had been friends since his second year of medical school. She was fresh and enrolled, ready to start her degree, she had her whole life planned out, and he admired her for that. He hadn’t thought much other than the fact that he wanted to be a surgeon. He knew that much. She always told him that it was okay that he didn’t have everything figured not; not everyone did. Slowly but surely, they both became a constant in each other’s lives. It also helped that they ended up being neighbors in the same townhome community not far from campus.
Now it was four years later, she was a year into her residency, while he was nearing his third year and slowly starting to have a future planned. He cursed to admit it, but it was thanks to her that he was slowly beginning to find his way. Doors were opening, and he couldn’t help but be thankful for the girl sitting beside him.
She had changed now, looking a little more relaxed. Hair in a messy bun, and his pink sweater was hanging off her shoulders—a candle burning between them and a few two many containers of take-out. Her wine glass was resting beside her as she thought of where to begin. It was hard to start when there was so much she wanted to say but no way of saying it. Maybe it was the client she saw earlier this afternoon that prompted these feelings within her. Yet, she wouldn’t admit to him that she spent a few too many moments in her office trying to compose herself or the mere fact that she spent nearly an hour crying in her car before heading home.
“I just don’t understand..” she breathed out, staring at the candle burning. The sight brought a small smile onto her face; she knew he hated candles, yet he kept them around just for her.
“Wanna elaborate?”
She glanced back at him with a small smile; her eyes didn’t sparkle like they did this morning. Now free of all makeup, her face revealed her imperfections that in his eyes made her beautiful.
“I guess I just wasn’t enough ya know Tom?” She started as he tilted his head to the side, waiting for her to continue. “It’s just heart break after the other. You’d think as a psychiatrist I could pin point what’s wrong with me, or what I’m doing wrong. I just don’t understand what I do that they all just leave.”
“Did something happen?” He mumbled, feeling a wave of confusion race through him. He assumed everything was fine; everything looked fine. He liked Marc; he was a nice guy. He had a decent job, and he managed to make the distance work.
“I don’t know Tommy…”
He nodded his head; he knew he didn’t have to say anything. She would open up to him eventually. Y/N always tended to never really say anything when something was wrong; that was something he learned reasonably quickly. For someone going into a field to help others, she had a tough time communicating her feelings. Yet, she was great at what she does.
“I didn’t think anything was wrong you know. Like before I moved out here, our relationship was fine. We had it all figured out, yet somewhere things went wrong..” she mumbled, closing her eyes, not wanting the tears to start escaping again. “I know we didn’t have the most ideal beginning but still ya know..”
“I didn’t even know anything was going on between you two love. You don’t really express when something is wrong..” he finally spoke as she nodded her head.
“Because we were fine, at least in my eyes we were. I would talk to him, ask him how he was feeling. It wasn’t to be overwhelming or clingy I just care. I mean we went through a lot, for bearly seeing each other during COVID than to me moving out here for med school..”
“But?”
“I guess I just wasn’t enough for him..” she mumbled, licking her lips. Eyes dry as she looked at the burning flame before her. “He didn’t cheat or anything, but I guess I just stopped being a priority for him. He stopped answering slowly and now we’re here.”
“He ghosted you?”

Sneak peak of A Little Lime:
Tumblr media
Summary: A night out at the bar leads Tom Holland to meet perhaps the most interesting girl he’d ever met. With a little bit of lime and a few tequila shot Tom Holland ends up finding his soulmate.
Soulmate AU
She licked her lips, the left over citrus juice causing her to smile softly. Finger nail tracing the scratches on the table as she listened to her friends babble on about the first week of classes. Her mind a little hazy as eyes danced across the croweded pub, it was unusually busy. The flow of students back celebrating the first week back, and than there was him. She had seen him anytime before, he was a criminal law major and shared a few classes with one of her mates.
“Isn’t that Tom Holland..” she asked turning to face her best friend who following in the direction she had pointed. She nodded her head with a soft smile.
“Surprise, he even came to one of these things..”
“What do you mean?”
“He never leaves the confinement of his flat or the library..” Hannah mumbled as y/n let out a soft giggle. “Kinda a nerd, but a pretty face one at that..”
“Oh hush Hannah, anyone who takes their school work seriously you judge babe..” she hummed nudging her shoulder lightly. “Not everyone is so eager to meet their soulmate like you.”
“Hey, I’m waiting for that absolutely amazing burn everyone talks about..” she hummed, y/n squinted her eyes as her waist started to burn and her vision started to cloud.
“shit..”
“Are you okay?” Max asked leaning over taken a hold of her waist as she shook her head. “is it your mark? Is it burning..”

She closed her eyes, nodding her head; it was hard for her to come to term. She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep up the act with Tom. One thing led to another, and she just broke after coming back from work. Maybe it was the client that she had a session with today who was going through something so similar, or perhaps it was the fact that she saw that he had viewed her story. Whatever it was, it all just came crashing down as she stayed a little longer parked in the driveway crying.
"I just, he kinda evaporated." She finally spoke, meeting his eyes again.
The following day Tom found himself quickly calling out sick, something he hasn't done since the beginning of his residency. Y/N, however, was up and running; she was going to make the most of her day off. She had managed to take both Tessa and Layla on a walk around their block and even made some cinnamon waffles, and they weren't even the keto-friendly ones.
Tom watched her nervously as she danced around his kitchen, getting breakfast ready. Maybe she chose to ignore the fact that he wasn't dressed yet, or she had already known he had called out sick was had a lecture brewing inside her head. He watched as she set the stack of waffles on the island before finally meeting his gaze.
"Called out sick huh?" She mumbled, smacking her lips together, taken in his posture. Her hands were resting on the edge of the marble as he looked her over.
"Does it matter?"
She puckered her lips before turning on her heels, causing him to roll his eyes. She was difficult at times, yet that was one of the many things he loved about her. She always tended to keep him on his toes, and he liked that he has someone like that in his life.
"I don't need you to look after me Thomas Stanley."
"I'm not looking after you Y/N.." he huffed out, taken the mug she softly pushed in his direction. "is it so hard for you to accept that people care?"
"I just don't need you pitying me after this whole situation.." she mumbled, meeting his eyes as he scoffed.
"Y/N, you don't have to act tough all the damn time love," he signed, running a hand through his hair.
"I'm your best friend I want to be here for you.."
"You're also Marc's friend."
"But my loyalty lies with you."
That seemed to have shut her up. The atmosphere around them tense as neither dared to utter a single word. She knew he was right, and he had nothing but good intentions, Tom always had good intentions, and she struggled with it at times. He was the only thing constant in her life as medical school started. Most of their friends opting for residency in other locations, but they stuck together. It was kind of hard for her to picture a world without him in it.
"I appreciate it.." she finally spoke as he nodded his head.
"Do you want to talk about it? A wise woman once told me everyone needs a shrink. I may not be one but I know a thing or two."
"Thomas Holland what would I do without you?"
"Probably looking for some other hot surgeon, which I might say is hard to fine."
"Remind me again why we made this bet in the first place."
"You my love have a fear of being alone for the rest of your life."
She clicked her tongue, a small smile making its way onto her face. The thought of that night flashing into her mind.
"What's you're darkest fear?" She asked him, toes digging into the sand as she shared at the water before them. The sky painted in white dots as she waited for him to speak.
"Trying to pick my brain apart Doctor?" He tested, bumping her shoulder as she giggled softly.
"No, just wondering. Everyone has some sort of fear rather it be rational or not. It's something that makes us all humans, no fear is stupid no matter what society tells you."
He hummed in agreement; he always thought it was silly to see a therapist or any mental health professional, at least until he met her. She opened him up a bit that one doesn't need a disorder to see someone professionally. It was always good to have someone to talk to, someone who would judge.
"I guess it's the fear of being alone you know? The fear of not knowing if I'll ever find the one."
"You know there's an actual name for that.."
He looked at her with a soft smile, his heart beating a little quicker as she leaned closer.
"Monophobia.."
"Huh?"
"It's the fear of being alone. It has other names as well but I get it. I guess I kinda have it too in a sense." She mumbled as he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"But you have Marc, you guys are picture perfect." He stated as she chuckled softly, digging her toes deeper into the sand as her chest tightened at the mention of his name.
"Still doesn't mean I can't hold that fear, Tom.." she mumbled, looking back out in front of him.
"We don't know what the future holds.."
He nodded his head, understanding where she was coming from. He knew she was right; Y/N always tended to plan for the future.
"Are you saying you see it happening in the future.." he asked. He didn't know much about her and Marc's relationship. She wasn't one to talk about that sort of thing. Somehow this felt like a turning leaf in their relationship.
"No, but its always a thought that comes to mind.."
"How about we make a bet than.."
"What kind of bet?"
"That if by the time we're both graduated from med school, if neither of us have found the one, we give us a try."
"Tom Holland is this your way of confessing your undying love for me?"
"In your dreams babe." he hummed, wrapping his arms around her shoulder. "What do you say babe?"
"You got yourself a deal british boy."
Shaking her head, she gave him a soft smile. Her mind a bit fuzzy, and her hands sweaty. She knew the bet was silly, yet a particular part held a dread that possibly Tom was it for her, and that terrified her. Perhaps her darkest fear wasn't about being alone forever but simply falling for the one person who never let her down.

All in Good Fun| Brad Simpson
Her eyes drifted back to the clock on the wall, a lazy smile resting on her lips as her toes wiggled against the fluffy blanket. Her mind racing a mile a minute, it hadn't been long since she had stepped back onto British soil; as much as she loved experiencing America the way she did, there was something about being home-being back in his arms that brought a wave of comfort through her. Maybe it was that fact that he was there, and he was something that was a constant within her life all these years. Whatever it was, she was glad she had someone like him in her life.
She couldn't help the small smile that crept onto her face as she watched him emerge from the hallway—hair a disordered mess and eyes laced with sleep searching for her in the living room of their home—the thought sending a swarm of butterflies through him as his cheeks hinted pink. Maybe it was the way the house now smelled like vanilla, hair ties linger in places, and her jean jacket thrown over the loveseat that created this feeling; whatever it was, Bradley just couldn't hide his expression.
"Ah, you're up.." she hummed bring the forgotten tea mug to her lips. The cold ceramic mug was hitting her chin as his eyes shined taken her in. "How'd you sleep?"
He chuckled softly, licking his slightly chapped lips, the cool air from the open window hitting his face as he walked closer to where she was sitting. The morning sun pecking its way through, making her complexion glow in a way that had him hazy.
"Y-you look...you look very pretty.."
She raised her eyebrow setting the mug on the window still, opening up her arms. Smiling softly, he slowly melted in her embrace, her sweet scent sending him in a haze as she hummed a soft tune. A tune she had learned on her time away, and it drove him crazy. Though he couldn't understand, he knew it was a melody he wanted to cherish forever.
"Six months away from and you still fail to compose a decent compliment.." she mumbled with a click of her tongue, making him chuckle softly.
"You leave me speechless is all.."
"That so?"
He nodded his head, closing his eyes, the warmth of her skin mixing with the rays of the sun, sending him into a blissful state. The soft chirps of the birds outside adding to the melody she was humming.
"Did you know you move around a lot in you sleep?"
"Hmm.."
"yeah you like kinda hit me, but its I guess.." she breathed out as his eyes caught hers. "You're kinda cute so i'll let it slide."
