We Shall Now Begin Ethics
I fricking love this manga. It’s not finished yet and I hope it doesn’t. Ethics is something we need for our everyday lives and it’s sad how we never really get taught how the “real” world works in high school. This manga made me wish I had a teacher like him growing up, he’s not perfect but having someone who doesn’t stereotype students is always such a breath of fresh air.
I recommend reading this if you’re interested in Philosophy and/or Ethics.
This is just a story of a professor consciously/unconsciously help his students through his word and ethics. PROMISE IT’S NOT BORING.
"Ethics" is the path of humanity, a principle that becomes the norm of morality. It is not necessary to learn it, but the lessons are laden with the truths of life. Cool ethics teacher Takayanagi confronts his students' problems and their beliefs.

Fuuka
This one has a music genre, you can’t hear the music but you will cry cry cry~~ the art is awesome, it does kind of get a bit dragging but you don’t have to read it in one sitting <3 There’s an anime ver. if you prefer to hear their singing.
The story follows the life of Yuu Haruna, who recently moved into Tokyo with his sisters after their father is forced to transfer overseas on work. On his way to buy dinner while looking at his Twitter account, a high school girl suddenly crashes into him. Thinking he was taking upskirt pictures of her, the girl takes Yuu's phone, breaks it, and slaps him before leaving Yuu lying on the ground. As it turns out, this girl—Fuuka Akitsuki—also goes to the school Yuu is transferring to. Unlike most people, Fuuka doesn't own a cellphone; she even listens to music using a CD player. Eventually these two become closer, and decide to form a band with their friends and enter the professional world of music. With Fuuka around, what will now become of Yuu's new life in Tokyo?

Blue Lock
Now, I don’t like sports but I like mangas with a self-motivation theme. This manga reminds of Haikyu!!, the unrelenting drive to better once self and learning from your mistakes.
Great art style 💖👌🏽 It perfectly captures the intensity of the fight scenes and you’ll feel  the stress and exhaustion of the players!
After reflecting on the current state of Japanese soccer, the Japanese Football Association decides to hire the enigmatic and eccentric coach Jinpachi Ego to achieve their dream of winning the World Cup. Believing that Japan has lacked an egoistic striker hungry for goals, Jinpachi initiates the Blue Lock—a prison-like facility where three hundred talented strikers from high schools all over Japan are isolated and pitted against each other. The sole survivor of Blue Lock will earn the right to become the national team's striker, and those who are defeated shall be banned from joining the team forever.

O Maidens in Your Savage Season
5 girl friends go through youth questioning what is love and sex. As they face new experiences and feelings their personalities change along the way. Except Sugawara she’s a fucking b*tch.
Great art, great character development, i got so attached to one of the heroine I almost lost interest in the manga (you’ll realize why)
When they were little kids laughing and playing together, Izumi Norimoto and Kazusa Onodera were like siblings. But as their bodies matured into middle school, Kazusa began seeing him as something different; unfortunately for her, so did the other girls. Ostracized, Kazusa had no choice but to distance herself from him going into high school. After joining the literature club, however, she finds friends that keep her mind occupied. Known throughout the school for reading aloud sex scenes in literature novels, the club's reputation has kept all teachers from accepting the task of being their adviser. During a discussion about what they would put on their bucket list, one of the girls says one thing: sex. This single word sends ripples throughout the five girls, as the thought of sex begins taking over their daily lives. And, after walking in on Izumi during a very private moment, Kazusa is sent into a spiral of emotion that forces her to face her true feelings for him. Now, with their hearts racing and the literature club facing immediate disbandment, the five girls must work hard to keep both their sanities and their club alive.

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun
I don’t know where to start with this. Well, first off - this for me is your classic shounen/supernatural manga, but it’s very well made. Personally I don’t think you have to be unique to create something amazing.
This manga showcases one of the best art style out there along with Promised Neverland and Koe no Katachi imo. It’s very heart-warming and wholesome but it has a tint of darkness and drama. A must read 💖💖
~~I still can’t get over this artstyle.
The famous "Seven Wonders" that every school seems to have are a staple of Japanese urban legends. One of the most well-known of these tales is that of Hanako-san: the ghost of a young girl who haunts the school's bathrooms. Kamome Academy has its own version of Hanako-san's legend. Rumors claim that if one successfully manages to summon Hanako-san, she will grant her summoner any wish. Lured by the gossip, many people have tried to call upon her, yet every attempt has failed. However, when Nene Yashiro, a girl hoping for romantic fortune, dares to summon Hanako-san, she discovers that the rumored "girl" is actually a boy! After a series of unfortunate events involving Nene's romantic desires, she is unwillingly entangled in the world of the supernatural, becoming Hanako-kun's assistant. Soon, she finds out about Hanako-kun's lesser-known duty: maintaining the fragile balance between mortals and apparitions.

Mahou Shoujo Site
What?! another Magical girl story??!! well, this one was a spin off Mahou Shoujo of the End. I’m not quite fond of this manga, but I enjoyed the gore, artstyle, and it’s depictions on magical weapons (look at that cute heart gun) *pew* *pew*
Every day, Aya Asagiri thinks about killing herself. She is bullied relentlessly at school, and at home, her older brother Kaname physically abuses her to relieve the academic stress put on him by their father. One night, as she lies awake wishing for death, a mysterious website called Magical Girl Site appears on her laptop, promising to give her magical powers. At first, she dismisses it as a creepy prank, but when she finds a magical gun in her shoe locker the next day, she doesn't know what to believe. Deciding to take it with her, she soon runs into her bullies once again. But this time, desperate for anything to save her, she uses the gun—and her assailants are transported to a nearby railroad crossing, where they are run over.

Oyasumi Punpun
Now this is a coming of age manga. I know Punpun looks weird but it’s a say on how simple this manga is.... NOT ~ at first glance it looks like that because of the protagonist’s depiction but it’s just to make the manga lighter than it really is.
Punpun Onodera is a normal 11-year-old boy living in Japan. Hopelessly idealistic and romantic, Punpun begins to see his life take a subtle—though nonetheless startling—turn to the adult when he meets the new girl in his class, Aiko Tanaka. It is then that the quiet boy learns just how fickle maintaining a relationship can be, and the surmounting difficulties of transitioning from a naïve boyhood to a convoluted adulthood. When his father assaults his mother one night, Punpun realizes another thing: those whom he looked up to were not as impressive as he once thought. As his problems increase, Punpun's once shy demeanor turns into voluntary reclusiveness. Rather than curing him of his problems and conflicting emotions, this merely intensifies them, sending him down the dark path of maturity in this grim coming-of-age saga.

The Promised Neverland
My sister got mad at me for making her watch this hehe. Well written story line? check, Great artstyle? check, Making you realize that if they released a novel of this I would f*cking buy this? check.
In all seriousness, this manga is one of the best. It doesn’t sugar coat and if you can’t stand kids dying well... ╮(╯▽╰)╭.
Oh yeah have I told you it’s one of the best-selling mangas of all time? surpassing Naruto even?
Surrounded by a forest and a gated entrance, the Grace Field House is inhabited by orphans happily living together as one big family, looked after by their "Mama," Isabella. Although they are required to take tests daily, the children are free to spend their time as they see fit, usually playing outside, as long as they do not venture too far from the orphanage—a rule they are expected to follow no matter what. However, all good times must come to an end, as every few months, a child is adopted and sent to live with their new family... never to be heard from again. However, the three oldest siblings have their suspicions about what is actually happening at the orphanage, and they are about to discover the cruel fate that awaits the children living at Grace Field, including the twisted nature of their beloved Mama.

Mahou Shoujo of the End
OK- I know I clickbaited you with the picture but c’mon look at that. I’ll leave this one to your imagination. I personally like gore so.... (ˉ▽ˉ;)... hope you don’t mind watching some blood spilled.
One day, ordinary high school student Kogami Kii finds himself caught up in a strange kind of zombie apocalypse, involving 'magic girls.' While idly looking out of the school window, Kii sees what looks like a little girl hitting a teacher, causing his head to explode violently. Convinced he's dreaming, he goes to the restroom to get his act together. Unfortunately, its not a dream, and he arrives to find the creepy little girl repeatedly saying "magical" as she slaughters his friends and classmates. Soon, Kii and his childhood friend—a quiet, often-bullied girl called Tsukune—are witness to the resurrection of their friends' corpses into a zombie-like murderous mob crying the single word "magical." Now Kii and Tsukune must try to endure with the other survivors, and try to find out what has happened to their world.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
AAAAAAND the best heroine award goes to!!!! ~~ More often than not you can see some very pathetic heroines in shoujo manga ≡(▔﹏▔)≡ but I don’t even wanna consider this as shoujo, since there are more mystery/adventure scenes here than there are romance 💖🧡 but don’t fret! Journey with Maomao as you solve mysteries, piece together puzzles, and form a weird/awkward relationship with your superior.
Let’s get serious here, I love this manga. Never have I seen a heroine so independent and intellectual. There’s some cute funny moments too, as well as some dark drama. I think the selling point of this manga ( besides the awesome artwork too) is how well-rounded and balanced it is. It shows that the heroine’s love life ( currently non existent ~ she’s dense lmao) is not the entirety of who she is.
In an imperial court in ancient China, it has been a few months since a 17-year-old girl known as Maomao was kidnapped and forced to work as a low-level servant at the emperor's palace. Still, she manages to retain her curious and pragmatic spirit, planning to work until her years of servitude are over. One day, however, she catches wind of the fact that the emperor's two infants have fallen gravely ill. She decides to secretly take action, drawing on her experience as a pharmacist raised in the poor red-light district. Despite Maomao's attempts to remain anonymous, she soon catches the eye of Jinshi, an influential eunuch who recognizes her talents. Maomao soon finds herself in the emperor's inner court, where she gradually makes a name for herself by utilizing her knowledge and eccentric personality to solve various medical mysteries.

Koe no Katachi
Aw man, this is too good to spoil. I don’t remember this as a romance manga but more of a self motivation/ love kind of manga. It focuses on character development and imposes very realistic situations one can get into growing up. The art is 10/10 💖 and the story holy sh*t~~ I cried reading this.
We are all flawed *cries*
As a wild youth, elementary school student Shouya Ishida sought to beat boredom in the cruelest ways. When the deaf Shouko Nishimiya transfers into his class, Shouya and the rest of his class thoughtlessly bully her for fun.  Now in his third year of high school, Shouya is still plagued by his wrongdoings as a young boy. Sincerely regretting his past actions, he sets out on a journey of redemption: to meet Shouko once more and make amends. Koe no Katachi tells the heartwarming tale of Shouya's reunion with Shouko and his honest attempts to redeem himself, all while being continually haunted by the shadows of his past.

Horimiya
Despite the description this isn’t only about Hori and Miya, it’s about their dynamic in this group of friends and how they work on their relationships with one another. This is pretty chill, cute art style, your basic slice of life. If you just wanna relax and read something wholesome then this is for you.
Although admired at school for her amiability and academic prowess, high school student Kyouko Hori has been hiding another side of her. With her parents often away from home due to work, Hori has to look after her younger brother and do the housework, leaving no chance to socialize away from school. Meanwhile, Izumi Miyamura is seen as a brooding, glasses-wearing otaku. However, in reality, he is a gentle person inept at studying. Furthermore, he has nine piercings hidden behind his long hair and a tattoo along his back and left shoulder. By sheer chance, Hori and Miyamura cross paths outside of school—neither looking as the other expects. These seemingly polar opposites become friends, sharing with each other a side they have never shown to anyone else.

Darwin’s Game
Another awesome competitive survival game. Think Battle Royale but in a fantasy world and with a talking snake in a mobile app.
High school student Kaname Sudou receives an invitation from a classmate to play Darwin's Game, a mobile game he has never heard of. However, as soon as he opens the application, a green snake suddenly pops out from his phone screen and bites his neck, leaving him unconscious. Waking up in the infirmary without any signs of a snake bite, he is told by the school to take the rest of the day off. Although he is puzzled by what has happened, he dismisses the surreal experience as a hallucination and boards the train home.

Eden no Ori (Cage of Eden)
One of the first shoujo manga I read, I was hooked. From start to finish it kept me interested. There no fillers (I think? it’s been so long). I hope you give this a try!
Eden no Ori tells the story of Akira and the other survivors' struggles on an island all too eager to see them disappear. With predators lurking around every corner, Akira and his friends must use all their wits to survive and unravel the mysteries of the island's origin.
