yall need to stop being so fucking weird about fat people. like theres already a huge issue of a lack of body diversity in gt content but even the “woke” people in this community can be super weird and infantalizing of fat people

if your immediate response upon being asked about fat people like “ohh theyre so cute and squishy!! soft uwu uwu uwu stress ball tinies” you need to take a step back and reevaluate how you look at fat bodies. fat people arent puppies theyre human beings

i was talking about this in a discord server but

a g/t relationship is a relationship of needs. the giant needs to feel useful, needs to feel like they have a purpose other than to destroy and invoke fear so that they can be recognised as a person, not a beast, and the tiny feels the need to be taken care of, to be treated carefully and gently so that they dont have to do it themselves anymore. 

giants protect because when they were ostracized they were not given that same grace. they were not protected. they were hurt and they only had themselves to care for that hurt. when they see tinies they realise they have to protect them, because it just might make up for what they never got.

tinies ask to be taken care of because they are so sick of doing it themselves. they are so sick of only relying on themself, or the few others who are just as vulnerable as them, around them. they want to put their responsibilities on someone else for once, because even just eating is tiring.

I’m also quite fond of humans laying on a giant’s chest/stomach and giving “pets” or “belly rubs”.

I REALLY love comparing hand sizes with mingiants; and spooning. when the minigiant (or giant, for that matter) holds the human close to their chest and just wraps them up warm and tight in their arms, safe, protected, and still. im designing sa’adah and ronan’s world!

Solaris is the capital city (Which Ronan is the prince of) and the rest of the country is under their rule. It’s a monarchy.

The whole country is a desert surrounded by mountains, there’s one distinct path into/out of it, but it’s really dangerous once you reach the mountains, so people don’t usually go in or out.

The Sphinx den is very close to Sweet Isles and the northern most river, but people rarely travel near it due to fear. There’s a lot of stories/myths about the area, since it’s an oasis, most assume it’s a mirage, but there’s myths about people who are starving or parched approaching it and drinking the water, only to never return. It’s assumed they die because either the water/food is poisoned, or the Sphinx kills them, but the reality is, the Sphinx there is very welcoming, so people tend to stay. :)

Ronan meets Sa’adah when learning the common trade route along the kingdom, and he drifts off course when they start leaving the Sweet Isles.
