I’ve been having a lot of Braxton Hicks, which in turn is making my stomach hurt. I’m so nauseous and in pain. I’m still very happy to be pregnant but I’d also like some rest. We hit 34 weeks and I can feel it.

We hit the third trimester! 3/4ths done already. It feels like it’s blown by so fast. I’m so excited for this next chapter in my and my husband’s life. I’m also very nervous for how painful birth will be. Lots of emotions. Also have been craving rotisserie chicken with hamburger pickles covered in chocolate frosting recently. Funny how hormones work.

Pregnancy update:

Sorry I’ve been MIA for awhile. I’m currently 26 weeks. We have a couple scares that landed us in the hospital for a hot minute. But, we’re ok. Baby is growing and kicking so much. It’s a wonderful experience to feel baby just move around and hang out. I’ve had a consistent craving for thanksgiving dinner and my husband’s family graciously went all out and made one for me. Trying to love and cherish the moments I have before baby is here.

I hit 20 weeks! We’re halfway there! My husband and I are going to an anatomy scan appointment soon to check up on baby and ensure everything is where it should be. We’re super excited! I’m looking fairly pregnant now but also still kind of look fat. I don’t know. It’s hard to tell. I’m certainly bigger and constantly out of breath.

Sorry I’ve been gone for a bit. I had a bad interaction and had to take a break from this place. I’m 17 weeks now, almost 18. No real updates as of now. I got the results of the genetic tests and everything looks good so far.

Pregnancy update:

We’re 16 weeks now! I’m feeling baby kick a lot more often and stronger than before. We’re still waiting on the results of the NIPT test, so as far as we know baby is happy and healthy. I’ve been craving Indian food so bad recently, as well as a full Thanksgiving dinner. I’ve been dealing with allergies/cold symptoms, which has made it pretty difficult to breathe and stay asleep at night. So, no restful nights and before baby arrives. I had another OB visit and doctor said everything was great and my blood is staying in a healthy range. My OB took some ultrasound pictures but baby was being shy and hid behind the placenta. Oh well, maybe next time.

Pregnancy update:

We’re at 15 weeks! It’s been mostly the same, still having “morning” sickness, still feeling bloated, you know blah blah. But! I’ve been feeling like flutters here and there and it’s been super exciting! My sister told me it looks like I have a beer belly more than a pregnant belly. That’s ok though. I’m excited to see what my next appointment will be like.
