IT MADE IT TO ITS DESIGNATION AND I AM SO HAPPY!!!

So, firstly, I am SO sorry that I haven't been on recently. Real life has kicked my butt and I've been struggling to get it together. Seeing this post and all the joy it brought @enthusiastic-babe made me SO happy, I can't even put it into words!

I'm absolutely beside myself right now. I'm just so thrilled that you like it! And make sure you thank your mom for me!

It was so much fun to be able to make and send off to someone across the world. I really want to do more of these and get the chance to spread the love!!

Anyway, I'm just gushing right now, all giddy and excited! Thank you everyone for sticking with me, despite my hiatus. Thank you to those of you who entered that contest and helped inspire me to continue! And thank you, Enthusiastic-babe for posting this and for your kind words!!

OH MY GOD. Y'ALL. IT’S HERE.

Okay so,

Some of you may remember the giveaway @olivandersdaughter did a few weeks ago. I won. Still can’t bloody believe it. But I did. AND I’M IN LOVE! (I’ll put my ranting below the cut as to not bore you to death if you don’t care. And, honestly, to the people that do, indeed, not care. Same, my dudes, same.) {Edit: the read-more-line-thingy doesn’t work, sooooooo, deal with it? I guess?}

It has been raining all week, and the bloody wind is excruciating, so I got home dripping everywhere, with muscle cramps in my legs and with a bit of a sour mood. I completely forgot that I was supposed to be getting it one of these days, because school has been a bit hectic lately (there is a test week coming up, and that means that I need to complete about 4 assignments before the end of this week, which brings me such JOY sarcasm is heavily implied here). So this honestly made my day. My mum came home just now and she saw it and was blown AWAY by the quality! She was looking at it and she said it even smells of the cherry tree its made of! I hadn’t even realized that was what I was smelling until she pointed it out! (She would like to complement you, Tracy. She thinks it’s amazing that you can make something like this.)

Do you actually make wands on commission?

I do! I’ve done a bunch of custom wands from different woods! Generally speaking, my designs are all original, but I have had a few people ask me to make specific character wands. I also usually use Canadian woods (that’s where I’m from), but I’ve had the pleasure of working with various species from all over the world!

Posted this on Insta earlier! Talking with Alison from CBC News was great! She’s gorgeous and fun and efficient. The whole interview was under 10 mins and she asked great questions about what happened to the ball!? Why am I here now? Where had I been? How’d I get the money and what did I do with all of it? HELL YESSSS!!! IT'S GONNA BE EPIC!!!!

Canada bound tomorrow!

Tomorrow at 4:30 AM I get up to catch my 7:00 AM flight to Toronto (WOO!) to see @olivandersdaughter !!

I have quite the magical itinerary during my stay:

-The Lockhart, a Harry Potter inspired bar

-The Manor, a giant geek mansion turned restaurant with different themed rooms and an absolutely amazing menu of themed drinks and food!

-Curiosa, an amazing shop that sells official Mina Lima Harry Potter prints and merch of ALL KINDS amongst other beautiful things!!!

- Figure, yet another spiffy geek cocktail joint with a themed menu, moreso oriented towards American comics. I’m super excited for this as well because the drinks look SO KILLER and beautiful and so does the overall space!
