The closest thing to a job in this town was helping Elsa build more snow-themed items for her to sell, but Oliver still enjoyed doing a bit of his own artwork in his spare time. Sculptures were his favorite, but unlike his sister, he preferred more summer-type themes. His current project was carving a surfer on a wave out of oak wood.
So engrossed in his work, the knock nearly made him jump out of his chair. He recognized the voice immediately, and it made him smile a lot, despite the scare. Oliver set his tools down and looked around his apartment. “Uh… Just a minute,” he called out. There were messy clothes, sheets, paint splatters, and random bits of paper everywhere. Usually, this was his place, and if he hung out with anyone, it was always at their place. Needless to say, this was unexpected.
Pulling on shorts over his boxers, disregarding any care for whether or not they matched his bright red shirt, he finally opened the door for a clearly drunk friend. “Hello, Abby Gabby. You wanna come in?” he asked, anticipating the answer that he expected as he opened his door wide. “Ignore the clutter,” he added with a chuckle.
Pretty Golden Drinks || Abby & Oliver
Abby had been glad that once she and Justin moved out here, everyone else seemed to. She loved having all of these friends around, meeting new people and exploring new worlds, but she found out very quickly that one of her favorite people was Oliver, Elsa’s brother. There was something rather amusing about him and she knew she wanted to keep him around. That evening after a particularly frustrating day of customers at work, Abby needed a stiff drink. She wasn’t ashamed that she enjoyed her drink either.
After far too many of what she liked to believe was a healthy sized cocktail, Abby was drunk, very drunk. There was one person she knew she could have quite a lot of fun with. Holding the last unopened bottle of scotch she had, she grabbed her keys, skipped out of the apartment and was very glad that Justin had Connor tonight. Down the hallway she went before she knocked on Oliver’s door, grinning brightly and speaking in a sing songey voice, “Oliiiiverrrr! Hey Ollie! Come on open the doooooor, I’ve got a pretty golden drink and I’m feeling so fuzzy, I can’t even tell you. Let’s play! Let’s, let’s pleeeeease!”

Olaf: A True Love Expert
During Frozen, Kristoff (and Anna, though she doesn’t know it right away) frequently refers to the trolls as “love experts.” When he leads the group to go see them, Olaf says, “I like to consider myself a love expert.”
Now while this seems to be another quote by Olaf that you can brush off as something silly, he actually proves himself to be a genuine love expert.
Olaf is an expert on love because was built from love and is the living embodiment of the love between Elsa and Anna. When he tells Anna that love means putting another person’s needs before yours, he is 100% correct, and uses Kristoff’s act of bringing her back to Arendelle as a perfect example.
Being Elsa’s creation, Olaf knows this fact on love because Elsa did the same thing by putting Anna’s needs and safety before her own when she pushed her away all those years. He even demonstrates his own act of true love when he stays with Anna in the library. Even though Anna fears that he will melt, Olaf proves his love by refusing to abandon her, and showing little to no concern over his own fate.
Anna takes Olaf’s words to heart, and so when she saves Elsa from being killed by Hans, that is the act of true love she needed to thaw her frozen heart. Olaf further proves himself as a love expert because he is the first one to realize that Anna’s sacrifice was the counted act of true love.
And think about it: if it hadn’t been for Olaf, Anna not only might have died much sooner, but not have been saved entirely if she just resorted to romance as the form of love that was needed to save her.
Since today is Valentine’s Day, I figured a post about love would be appropriate for the day. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! :D <3

Oliver didn't skip a beat, and he was immediately in his sister's arms. "I have missed you too," he said as he took his finger and bopped her on the nose. After a quick smile, he began to look around. His feet followed where his eyes did. "What's weird is you not hugging," he teased looking back at her for just that moment before he continued to peruse.
"Wow. You have so many incredible things in here, Elsa," he said picking up a tea cup and inspecting it. "How did you manage to get it all set up? I mean... I knew you were artistic, but wow!" he said setting the cup back down and making sure he saw every item that she had on the shelf.

Frozen Family || Oliver & Elsa
With a bag in each hand and a backpack on his back, Oliver wandered through the city. It seemed rather quiet right now, but he didn't mind. As long as people eventually appeared, he would be happy. There were many cute little shops and restaurants that he passed by. He wanted to eventually check them all out, but for now, he just wanted to find an apartment with an open room.
Ahead, Oliver noticed some taller buildings and hoped with all of his might that one might have some apartments in them. As he walked, though, he found himself stopping at a shop. It was a quaint pottery shop that had winter themes, but the products for sale is not what he noticed. It was the girl behind the counter. Bag still in hand, he banged on the window with the few fingers he could use and waved at her. Immediately after, he plowed through the front door, dropped his bags, and opened his arms wide. "Elsa! I've finally found you!"
