Cloak-less Hollow Knight sketches to get the hang of their design and some concepts of spider-y Hornet. The extra limbs are mostly just for show but the middle pair of arms can help Hornet cling to walls while keeping her main arms free to strike with her needle

Some OC shenanigans with another friend’s character that I’m too nervous to post on my art blog dhgjdfgjfk, plus an expression meme thing with them

This one is a little different than the art I usually make.

It’s not often that I feel this particular, indescribable emotion with my art. It’s different from the sense of pride and joy I have when I create an art piece I like. There was like a sense of serenity to this one. This piece felt like a conversation between me and my character here, the character I’ve put so much care into creating. Both of us existing in the same mindscape and hearing our voices, though we reside in different worlds entirely. I felt a connection. A special kind of connection that I never expected to have with my art. The kind of connection where the creation inspires the creator, where it gives the creator hope. It felt right.

I don’t know what it is, but I want to thank him. Thank him for giving me and rekindling the hope that I thought I lost
