I stage. Denial, unable to admit reality.

II stage. Anger, internal and external frustration.  

III stage. Bargaining/Negotiation, involves the hope of finding a way to be ok again.

IV stage. Depression, silent.

V stage. Acceptance, retrospective view with a stable condition of emotions.
