And personally? To be in the tickets booth, and see young girls, teenagers, adult women, coming in to see Barbie,

the most highlighter pink outfits, some of them coming in with the dolls they’re dressed as, laughing to each other, cheering for each other,

to see the men they’re coming to see it with, dressed in pink, cheering them on, taking their pictures with smiles and cheers in the lobby at the photo op

I can’t say any nuances of the movie that haven’t already been said, but like, fuck man, love is so deep and so kind and to be able to see glimpses of it from behind my little ticket desk makes me a little less nihilistic.

Peter’s twenty first birthday rolls around and the avengers naturally want to have a celebration with him. It’s up to him to plan out the day, but the various avengers have ideas on what would be the “perfect” celebration. Tony, Thor, and Natasha are all in for a bar crawl. (Natasha wouldn’t have more than one drink. She would fake it and be watching over Peter the whole time). Steve gives him the “be responsible speech” with both Bucky and Sam rolling their eyes and calling him a hypocrite from the next room over. Bruce, Wanda, and Clint are in favor of a movie night in. 

They all claim Peter should choose what he wants, so after a bit of pushing from everyone he decides he just wants to have it at the tower. That being said, Peter gives off major Vine as a human vibes so he follow some of the TikTok trends and makes the avengers participate. 

Everyone has to dress like a different avenger. They pull names out of a hat, and make a drink based off that avenger. After getting reasonably drunk, Peter insists that they cannot continue the night without everyone get temporary tattoos. Naturally, the only ones he bought were the cheap princess ones. Somehow, the group goes wild, and only after everyone has at least five on various parts of their bodies, they finally go out for dinner. It’s perfectly chaotic.

Tawaret Adopts Marc & Steven & Jake

I just finished Moon Knight and I had a pretty crack but wholesome idea. It's weird but please stay with me :

Lets say Layla stays as Tawaret's Avatar

She does not ask much hard work from her (unlike SOME Egypt gods who make their Avatars unalive people)

Layla starts volunteering at children's homes and becomes an advocate for women's rights

But Layla becoming Tawaret's part time Avatar has another perk

Tawaret starts fighting over custody of Marc, Steven & Jake over Khnoshu

Listen

She is motherly alright

She was rooting for the guys and after she saw how Khnoshu treats the boys

Making them sacrifice so much from their personal lives, staying up and fighting every fight

(And manipulating them)

She is like "This is not how a god should treat their Avatar"

She is not happy with it

Layla already hates Khnoshu so she is more than okay with Tawaret's intervention

Khnoshu: They are MY avatars not yours!!!

Tawaret : So what I helped them get back I DID NOT DO IT SO THEY CAN DIE AGAIN

Khnoshu : THE SUIT HEALS THEM

TAWARET : IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN USE THEM AS YOU LIKE their body needs rest and they have their own lives!!!!

Steven is touched by Tawaret's concern over their well being

Marc is beyond confused

Jake eats popcorn and watches the chaos

At the end Tawaret ends up tooking the custody of the boys

Tawaret : YOU ARE STAYING WITH ME FROM NOW ON

She takes the kids and leave

Tawaret : You can have them as your Avatar again when you learn to appreciate them!!!!

Note : Also... Marc does not understand Tawaret's behavior because he did not have a mom who fought for him and worried over his well being. So this is like a great upgrade for him. From a shitty abusive mom to a loving protective goddesses

One of my favorite, subtle parts of Moon Knight was in episode 5 where they’re just starting to walk through the memories. They see where Steven moves the sky with Khonshu and Marc goes “Woah...that’s wild,” and just stands there watching for a little longer as Steven continues forward. I loved that this was a way to show that even if Marc knows a lot about Steven, he’s not aware of everything. I also think this is the beginning of the balancing and him seeing Steven as just as capable of dealing with Khonshu. Sure he will probably always try to protect Steven, but this let let him see and be impressed by what Steven is able to handle.

Take a sip of their beers and silently agree that they don’t get paid enough for that and pack up for the night. If the world really needs them, someone will find them. Otherwise, they just don’t talk about it and go about their lives.
