As a woman brought up in China, I used to think I could only love someone who is older and more mature than me, who can be my protector and mentor. Then I met my current boyfriend, Moro. Since he is 5 years younger than me, I felt that the whole concept of relationships changed, all the way around. I became a person who has more authority & power. One of my male friends even questioned how I could choose a boyfriend the way a man would choose a girlfriend. And I thought, "Damn right. That’s exactly what I’m doing, & why not!" I started to seriously think about the significance of this relationship, and start experiments with photographs. My photos explore the alternative possibilities of heterosexual relationships.

I can't be in her life. It's not even about the heartbreak or the jealousy or the grief or the horror. It's about how she uses them against me because she can't handle how she feels about me.

personally i think we should find a way to sync up everyone's periods in the entire world so for that one week everyone knows to give us a break, we all give each other breaks, nobody is at the beach, nobody is having sex, we're all grumpy together, we all carry extra tampons in our purse, chocolate is 50% off and they have to make pride and prejudice free for all to stream

#i like this in theory however people with pms who are super close having interpersonal issues with one another well #in my experience being on my period as the same time as the insane women I'm in love with isnt the best #what happens in period week stays in period week
