Behold! Human Darby Deericks/Sage Green!!

I have not come up with a lot of lore yet aside from how they kind of got dragged into the world of magic by maybe them just stumbling across the school after getting lost trying to probably collect some plants and such. Maybe they got hurt along the way and some of the teachers or nurses probably noticed some magic capabilities they have and that's how they join.

Before joining the school, they were just a regular country gardener working in a shop just doing their thing.

They also have a girlfriend, Catrina Calavera (human Muerta Posa ofc-)

Here is also their... Uhhh witch form(?) As well as their wand. They're drawn separately because I can't draw wands well so hope I did a good job lol. Oh also the gemstone seen on their wand is supposed to be a diamond, because that's Arkansas's state gem, to continue the theme of Darby being based around my home state's little things. Like state bird, state insect, and so on.

Their familiar is Darby Deericks. I'm not sure which like class they would join. But they are pretty well known for their abilities with controlling with plants and such. Basically a witchy Poison Ivy lol.

some facts/info:

•Maya is Native American and lives with her caretaker in the countryside! Maya has always grown around magic using it on a daily bases to research her love of plants and agriculture so when she heard about a magic academy she joined hoping of improving her abilities of controlling and growing plants fresh out the ground! •Whenever she’s in her magic form she ditches her prosthetic leg and replaces it with a wooden one! And her little ferret critter is much like Maya and they love to goof off together!

Damien being a threat in this AU is absolutely amazing i should consider it

*Lee Yue literally being a magic prodigy and a very smart boy with Asian blood in his veins trying so hard to figure out Damien’s master plan*

*Damien actually don’t knowing how to play chess and just eating the pieces while Lee isn’t seeing*

Damien’s argument is that the pieces tasted like jerky (carne seca en sus propias palabras), he got stomach pain afterwards. And yes, Damian has a pink hairband and a PRI T-shirt. He’s silly.

Plus, Harriet wheezing very hard in the background for the entire situation seen how Damien eats the chess pieces. Carli is the same situation as Lee.

point 1: Andri, just like North in the riders Au, is considered a catch, just that here the fangirls are more insistent, luckily, Miguel is good as scaring them away

point 2: i completly blame @north-heats-stronghold for Miguel's wizard design, somebody tell him how to change it, he's using his tail to hide his butt lol

point 3: Miguel isn't always a angry bitch, he's actually as silly and friendly as Sunny, but he need to get out of his shell first, luckily, he got Andri for that.

Meet Aster Lunar. Coming from a line of witches and wizards it was almost destiny to hit them too, even if a bit later. After they showed their magic abilitys, they were to learn more and control it.

They got quite a talent around the couldron as well as singing. However one accident before school put them in a predicament. After a missing ingredient and a taste later they ended up sick resulting in feathers growing out their body. Now they try to find a cure somehow for this, but wants to do it alone! After all they say "I put myself in this situation, I'll get myself out of it" it unfortunately takes up their night, brewing potions to try and get the feathers away, and their day, sleeping through the whole class.

Aster comes from greek, but their parents moved when they were merely months old. Despite this, they speak Greek pretty good (not me tho so I indicate when they speak greek) and wants to visit their home country to meet other relatives some day.

Personality wise Aster seems to be more shy and keeping to themselves. However this far from the truth. They are actually pretty open and talk active. But they don't want others to worry about them so they shy a bit away. At least until the thing is handled.

This could also be seen as first design/ first color pallet.

the effects of the gases used by the bigger bodied smiling critters

Introducing Andri Santiago!

A second generation Latin American, born and raised in Southern California. His parents were originally from Mexico, but moved to the state's for personal reasons. His parents, being wizard's themselves, quickly sent him to the school once his magic manifested, after giving him a quick crash course on magic and wizard society.

Despite being surrounded by spanish culture growing up, his spanish speaking is subpar at best so he mostly speaks english. However he can understand spanish amazingly well.

His type of magic is of the elemental variety. More specifically, he can wield both ice and fire magic. While he can do all the flashy stuff, like fireballs and ice shards, he is also capable of more subtle thing's, like raising or dropping the temperature around him or being able to detect the heat from other living thing's.

His gemstone is a alchemically made Dragon's Breath Opal. Gifted by his parents before sending him off.

As his personality goes, Andri is more easy going and down to earth when compared to his critter versions. Simply enjoying his time and making friends. He does have a desire for adventure, but he mostly holds himself back to not cause trouble. Little North is the more emotionally expressive of the two and is usually acts as a glimpse to Andri's inner emotions. Little North also pushes Andri into trying different activities and sports in the school.

Perhaps a happy and easygoing person like Andri is exactly the kind of friend a certain yellow hoodie wearing Venezuelan needs.
