Welp, everyone is losing their shit about Thor being a woman...

I'm skeptical about the whole thing and there isn't any excitement running through me about them taking a perfectly great male character steeped in all sorts of story and suddenly dropping him. Could the story be cool? Possibly.

But c'mon Marvel, don't say you did this one for girls and women out there. There are so many fabulous and wonderful female heroines in the Marvel universe and certainly in the Asgardian one that you wouldn't need to destroy Thor as we know him.

Look at this! Destiny looks gorgeous and the character creation just adds to it. For everyone who is up in arms about this being a copy of Halo. Just because a game is made in the same genre, doesn't mean it's a copy. Dumbest thing I've heard.

There is a waiting period of 30 days for women seeking tubal ligation, yet no waiting period for men seeking vasectomies.

Young women are often discriminated against when seeking sterilization. Many doctors ask offensive questions (“What if you met a billionaire who wanted to have kids with you?”), state categorically that their patients are too young to consider the surgery, and generally act as though, as one woman who tried unsuccessfully to be sterilized at the age of 21 in the U.K. put it, ”just because I was a woman, I’d reach a point where an urge to breed would overcome all rational thought.” (Perhaps unsurprisingly, that woman’s 25-year-old husband faced no such presumptions when he asked his doctor for a vasectomy. The procedure was quickly approved.)

Shit like this irritates the hell out of me. Let us make a big deal out of something that is so simple. Her skin tone was off for an imaginary character that has SPECIFIC descriptions in the books but we'll go ahead and blame it on them being biased. Descriptions are there for a reason. Stop making problems where there are none.
