Chasing the moon

True story.

A couple nights ago, the moon was full. Looked like the shiniest loonie lighting up the sky, but it was behind the trees. So I ran down to the ocean as it was rising. The shore curved in a way that it was still behind the trees. The rocks were all pretty slippery, but I walked on them. Then I came to some kind of outlet flowing into the ocean. The water was too deep to cross in my hikers, so I took them off and rolled up the bottom of my jeans. It may have been barnacles, or crushed shells (ideally) but through the water way I cut up the bottom of my feet. Sure as hell couldn't turn back after that. Really and truly, twas worth it, even if I didn't stay for long.
