saturday, march 6 • a february recap & march setup
my march bullet journal spread was inspired by my recent feb-cover-up situation 👀 because i’m actually quite liking the additional pOP! of color that i can add into my bujo with the random construction paper i have lying around uwu but ya dis an overview of my spreads that i made in a 10pm-dimly-lit-tired-trance last weekend hAHaha
also im not sure of where to take photos now in my new apt (i miss my old room’s lighting during golden hour ft. the nice flowy curtains), but i’ll figure it out this is small potatoes u know what i’m sayin’

Zoomester Studyblr Challenge
Hi! I’m not a big creator on here but I always see Studyblr Challenges and I try my best to always take part (even tho i fail halfway) but this is my last semester at uni and I wanted to do a little something something.
Info
This challenge is starting on March 1st and contains 31 prompts (one per day of the month) but feel free to take part at any given time!
I initially aimed this challenge for all my struggling last semester/grad school/ thesis writing people BUT honestly, whatever your grade, this zoomester is crazy as it is.
If you do the challenge, use the tag #zoomester studyblr challenge so that it is easier for me to track posts and that way other people can also track and reblog!
Aims
This is lowkey my way of getting to know some more of you beautiful hardworking people.
Times are still hard so perhaps participating and getting to know people from the tags can be comforting for some people.
It really doesn’t matter if you’re new to the studyblr community or have been on here for a while and would like a safe space to insert yourself, here it is.
Rules
If you want to do this challenge, please reblog this post
There are daily prompts for 31 days but challenges should not be a burden to the way you post so you can post as frequently as you like/are able to.
Please be respectful. If some of the prompts ask for personal insights please have in mind that everyone has had different experiences and POVs.

Dark Academia Things I Find Charming: Online Learning Edition
Messy, almost incoherent notes with doodles all over them
Going on extremely long tangents, only barely related to the lecture
Group zoom meetings
Messaging your friends in the middle of the session, desperately trying to hold back your giggles
Turning on your favorite music for lecture background noise
Performing self care when your camera is off
Saying something thoughtful during a conference/socratic seminar
Only half paying attention to course related videos
The aroma of coffee becoming the most dominant smell in your room and clothes
That comfortable silence between you and your lab partners
Yearning for your object of affection, separated by a screen
Studying in comfortable clothes, free of judgement
Stretching between lectures
Having a stack of books, documents, notes, and stationery all over your desk
The sigh of relief after finally finishing a day of class
Sharing quizlets, pdfs, and other resources with your classmates in a groupchat
Having dark under eyes after an evening of hard work
Submitting your assignment a few minutes before the deadline
Reading supplementary material during studyhalls
Longing for in person class, but making the most of your situation

Fuck it. Dark Academia and Online Learning
Getting up early to do extra reading before class
Many, many cups of coffee
Zoom calls that get derailed by in depth discussions about the topic
A shirt and slacks one day, a hoodie and sweats the next
Playing your music as loud as you like while you study
Stacks of texts on your desk, on the kitchen table, around your bedroom
Papers and stationary scattered around your home
Studying while wrapped up in your favourite blanket
Groupchats that vary from sharing important sources to sharing memes about your studies
Similarly, group calls where you all study together and share information you've found
JSTOR, EBSCO, and other life saving online sources
Studying by lamp light when it gets dark
Your handwriting growing messier because you're the only one reading it now
Looking forward to the day you can go back to university, but making the most of what you have now
