The Aesir God’s raised Fenrir but he grew at a very rapid rate. They could no longer control him so they bound him by chains. He broke the chains twice until they had dwarves create unbreakable chains. By this time he caught on to their tactic and only agreed to have the chains put on if one of them put their hand in his mouth as a sign of good faith. The only God brave enough to bind him was Tyr who lost his hand during the process. . . . The valknut - Odin's symbol, seemingly so. . . But where was it found? Well, this symbol appears in several archeological finds. Often times with items relating to Odin. A list of items: Nene River Ring a wood bed in the Viking Age Oseberg Ship Oseberg Tapestry two picture stones from Gotland, Sweden Plus many more. . . But what does the Valknut actually mean? Well, we don't know. Through these findings we can assume that the meaning has something to do with death, a transition from life to death and with Odin.
