Hey peeps, it's been a while.

You thought you finally got rid of me, didn't you? I won't bore you with the details, but I know you will understand me when I say this past year has been... well let's just say though. But hey, here I am again, one year older, still tired AF.

On the flip side, I got some cheap-ass guache paints and started playing around with them. So here are some of the things I've made and that I don't hate.

I tried to be bolder with colors and poses as I went on, but it didn't pan out as well as I hoped. Anyway, it was good exercise.

I always struggle when trying to create atmospheric pieces with watercolors. When layering in an effort to add depth, everything ends up just flat and dull. I just can't. The background in this piece, even after fixing it in postprocessing, is just not right. :/

With artistic licence, inspired by a scene in a movie that I will never watch because the trailer alone made me shit bricks.

Guess who got a scanner? (To be totally honest, I found it in the garbage 😳 , somebody was throwing it away but after a thorough cleaning it was (almost) as good as new).

Bonus: I sketched the personification of Mercury and Venus. I'm planning on doing the whole solar system, a good exercise in form and posture.
