Anyways onto the fight scene,

I thought it was pretty good. I liked how everyone was fighting and seemed in a way dynamic (is that the word I’m looking for?) What I’m trying to say it flowed great

My heart when Conner remembered his family from the scene when he and Clark talked back in season 1 but also him meeting the Kent’s and him being brought in and then Conner meeting Jonny (also conformation that it IS Jonathan Samuel Kent (the Jon from Super Sons) and not some random son of Superman named Jon (there are many of those)

I love that Dick told M’gann to go off on these clowns and unleash her demigoddess

And she did

I love that we got to see her go off but like also keep in control. Like you can tell that she is at full force but isn’t loosing control like she did when she was younger.

I am so glad M’comm didn’t kill Danny. I was worried there for a second. Then he started fighting and he got to fight M’comm in his mind himself.

I love that Bart after being held prisoner for days?weeks? He’s running around and it just made me smile

Till he got hit and Artemis called him kid

I love the Artemis and Dick team up!

Also when Conner didn’t “recognize Kaldur as family” I was like yeah it the beard

When M’comm fell into the boom tube to the phantom zone and M’gann said that he was happy that Conner died was just hit me so hard.

Rocket coming in hot

I was not expecting that! It was great!

I love how Metron is just like so chaotic and like so petty.

And I completely forgot about the smudge stain on the wall in the cave. I just wrote it off like that’s just a red herring or something. But the fact that it was Lor Zod made me so happy(?) because the story came like full circle kinda.

The sunrise at the end of the fight signaling a new day (a new *fill in the blank*) was pretty.

So the Villains got their own planets

M’comm got Durla which coincidently is Chameleon Boy’s home planet. They’re both shapeshifters but what is this mean in the grand scheme of things? Like we can assume that the A’ashenn become the race Chameleon Boy is. So should we assume that maybe the G’arrunn and the B’lahdenn become another race too? I heard about the theory that Saturn Girl is a descendent of M’gann so maybe?

Then we got Daxxam and Ursa. I don’t know what she’s going to do? But I do know and was thinking of this since he was first introduced, Lor Zod is Chris Kent and he is an adopted son of Lois and Clark. So that might still happen.

I loved the little moment we got with the Kent’s breaking the news about Conner to Jon and the video message of the wedding.

Everyone is at the wedding!

M’gann’s parents are here! With her sister! I love the conclusion we got with her sister saying that she’s decided to change her name back to M’ree M’orzz. I wished we got to see her more.

Gar talked to Perdita and I liked it. Perdita saying that she still loved Gar and forgives him but has moved on and so should he. It was a nice moment. While I would love for them to get back together, I also love that even though you love a person you can move on from someone and take yourself out of a relationship after a bad situation. Plus it didn’t make it seem like she is required to get back together with him just because he apologizes. Gar’s not a bad person and she knows that. But she has moved on and I think they’ll be friends.

I wonder if the break up is setting up Raven? Possible but maybe not

Also we now know that the future is back on and Conner still has his role as doing something very importaint.

Any guesses?

Also why is this Black Canary’s reasoning? Like that is some people’s issues but that isn’t really the problem with someone like Gar. Gar was grieving. He was grieving poorly but grieving. He needed to be with people and to talk to them. Going to a place even if it would be more peaceful is not a guaranteed solution nor is it really a solution. It could help the solution but it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day where you get help or only matters if and what type of help you get. The reason why they have a lot of them have mental health issues is because they’re heroes. You need to find a solution to that. Not worry about how many.

That after credits scene

For one finally got an update of Mary. I’m happy they didn’t leave us hanging till next season (is there a next season?!?)

But the bigger deal is

Kara is here and I have so many questions like why was she in the Phantom Zone? Did Vandal Savage specifically chose her because he knew of her connection? Or was it a coincidence? Was it Klarion who picked her out?

Anyways overall a great season finale! It closed the some plots that had to be close this season but also hinted at more to come in the next.

I think this season was pretty good. Yes there were some problems but like at this point most shows do. While I do believe we can hope for better and expect better, I do think that this was pretty good (considering that they worked on this during the shut down I think). The arcs ranged from pretty good to great. I only really have a problem with two of the arcs. Well ones a problem and ones a question.

The problem I have with one of the arcs is Rocket’s. I just felt like it was really focused on the characters. Like the plot there was mostly set up and like everything else felt kinda well background. I did like Razer and the bugs and Rocket’s son, but I felt like it wasn’t really focused on any characters really and I know that probably sounds crazy because it probably is. Does anyone get what I’m trying to say? Like I can’t fully remember what happened besides Razer, Tomar-Re dying, Forager becoming a Green Lantern, Jay being great, Amistad being amazing, the legion and Bart and like that’s it. It just felt weaker than the others.

The question is how does Artemis’s fit into this? Like everyone had call backs to their arcs but like Artemis had none. It’s like hers could be taken away and it wouldn’t affect the plot. And that makes me mad because I loved her part. But I felt like there had to be something there and the only thing is the ending with for one Ra’s doing what Dinah talked about in a way and that ending scene with Lady Shiva and Talia looking evil which means they’re future villains. I guess? Unknown. This has me worried about what they have in store for Jason and Damian. What are your thoughts on how her arc fits?

My God was not expecting it to go so hard in the second to last episode of the season

and not the I’m confused what is happening but like the man this is really happening they’re going hard in the second to last episode and in the next episode they have to conclude everything

Let’s start it off

First let’s talk about Bart

Also I love that Forager’s willpower is strong enough to break free. I love it so much!

Also I kinda respect General Zod a bit now

Like he is evil and I still don’t like him but like he was trying to get his army- his people- out of the Zone and he also said that Conner is one of them now even though he’s part of the house of El

Like I kinda respect that

Clark talking about how he always wanted more Kryptonians but not at the cost of Earth breaks my heart and how he has to reject Zod’s offer because his people are the people of Earth not the people from Krypton

I want more of this type of story. I’m pretty sure it exsist in the hundreds but like I feel like it’s not really talked about (in depth) or just a little brief mention in nowadays media (mostly focusing on him being a powerful god (Injustice) and not a person with godlike powers who is human)

(Ignore my rant because I’m pretty sure it’s only based on my not relatively big amount of knowledge I’m still trying to catch up)

Why did General Zod have to destroy things before he made his speech like I get it you have to be tough but like this is so unnecessary?

I hope Conner snaps out of his reset by M’gann running over there to save him by telling him she loves him

Or since they did show him earlier Jonny and Lois comes over because of Clark and Conner being there and snaps them out because of family

Or both honestly

Or the Icicle Jr appearance this season is that

Ok quick predictions about what is going to happen in the next episode

One Dick is not dead

Like this isn’t a prediction this is what happened.

Like yeah his heart stopped beating. I get why you would think that, but like he was trained by Bruce and if you think he would train them to do that then like you don’t understand how paranoid Bruce is

Oh yeah side note the Zod thing can probably end if you give Bruce like 10 minutes to drive over to Metropolis with his 500 lbs of Kryptonite and his new Kryptonite weapons that he’s been wanting to test out

But if they don’t do the emotional thing with M’gann nor the Batman being Batman thing then you also get the possibility of:

Lex and his Infinity Inc “saving” the day

And finally Rocket

I don’t know where this going to lead but since I’ve been reading the Wally is alive theories this seems like something that would fit right in like Rocket ends up in something like the speed force and finds Wally

We’re getting ready for the final battle this episode

I feel like not a lot happened this episode it was more of a set up for the big fight we’re going to see next episode.

Tomar-Tu is so cute! It’s so sad that Tomar-Re had a son he never got to say good bye because he died a hero. Also, I’m not really familiar with the Green Lantern comics, but I find it really cool that a father and son are a part of the Green Lantern corps. I just find it interesting. First Razer now the this, I really need to read/watch up on them.

Why can Lor- Zod just ask for information? Like again I’m not really familiar with Green Lantern comic lore but that just seems odd that you can just visit the prison without further questions other than if you have a record.

Ok so M’gann found out, and like I thought she jumped at the possibility that Conner was alive. I’m kinda worried about the fall out.

I slightly think that that will be the time the reveal the fake Wally dream thing to Artemis which will be dramatic but then again there’s not enough time to complete it in this season so next season (that will (probably) have a time skip) would be too long but that adds more drama.

Poor Danny! I was wondering who was in that box. It’s so sad that not only was he trafficked but experimented on.

Danny saying that it hurts to use his abilities as a living machine but says he can handle it because he wants to help the people who are helping him just almost makes me want to cry.

I was like he better not die or I’m going to cry.

M’comm…

I swear to god if you killed that boy and not like knocked him out I’m going to be so mad.

I like that they brought back J’emm and that he’s helping because he feels in dented to Conner (and probably M’gann too). I wonder if M’gann and J’emm are going to team up and take down M’comm. Either way I feel like M’comm is going to be taken down before the season ends. I don’t know how but it feels like he’s going to be defeated.

Also they brought back Orion too. This will be interesting because he’s Darkseid’s biological son which will be an interesting interaction with his minions.

Also, am I the only one getting the vibes that Orion has a thing for Rocket. The whole Rocket would be good for this. It’s either that or he feels more comfortable with someone he knows. It could go either way honestly.

The flashes of memories from the first season just made my heart swell. I have to rewatch soon!

Ok so I feel like there wasn’t a lot that actually happened so my predictions!

I feel like the bad guys are going to be defeated but something is going to happen to Superman because of the Red Sun because it’s kinda odd that they brought him along unless they were thinking he could broker a truce being Kryptonian. Also the whole I killed Superman thing Conner got going on.

Like I said before M’comm will probably be defeated.

I also feel like something is going to happen to Bart. Not necessarily him dying (I hope) but like some change.

Also I feel like the whole Wally being in the Phantom Zone theory has become even more of a possibility to me because

The team and Wally both appear the same way as the Kryptonians and Phantom girl and if Conner thought he was died like I’ve seen people mention then he would still look normal because Superman looked normal in the Conner killing Superman hallucinations

And the whole opening a portal that ANYONE can get through on both sides is an odd choice because they could have always written if a different way so there was no chance of anyone else getting out besides Conner and General Zod and Ursa

I just had a horrible thought

What if Bart runs into the portal taking Lor Zod with him?

My poor heart

Anyways what I’ve noticed is that every arc this season has been in a way brought back BESIDES Artemis’s and Zatanna’s

You got J’emm and in a way, the legion and Superman from M’gann and Conner’s. You got Orion and Danny from Rocket’s. You got Aquaman back as Aquaman from Kaldur’s. All for the final battle.

If you want you can also consider that this whole thing is happening because of Zatanna and her arc because of the Conner bus vision and the help from Doctor Fate and the magic from her arc.

So I wonder how Artemis’s arc is going to play into this because there has to be a connection.

Alright let’s talk about the Dick part because everyone is interested in Dick.

Plus it’s his arc and I’m getting the feeling they are going to remember it unlike Rocket’s.

So the Team found the bus and got the Trogowogs to get it running for them to go to the Phantom Zone. While I do understand the importance and was a short part of the episode, I do think it was a good idea to have this episode to finish up loose threads or just to close them.

I did not know I needed to see Kaldur helped Zatanna with the spell, but now I want to see more of them working together.

Dick saying he’s not Bruce Wayne killed me.

Also why was he trying to bring Chicken Whizees with him to another dimension?

Acually, wait, I would totally do that.

Wait a minute, why is that so relatable.

Anyways, they did bring up the fact that they didn’t tell M’gann about their plan because they don’t want to get her hopes up. I agree with this. They really shouldn’t tell her because it would do more harm than good. Also she should be taking a break from everything anyways.

Let’s talk about Violet! They’re going to college!

And also they finally talk about their emotional trauma about Brion to a support group

I love how supportive everyone is! I’ve never been to one before but it seems positive! (I need to go to one tbh)

Tara giving Violet support about her brother was just amazing. I’m glad they stuck together after what happened.

I’m also glad that Garfield’s arc is still ongoing and they didn’t end it at he went to therapy and everything is better now.

Gar getting an emotion support dog just seems to fit into his character perfectly.

Gar gave me the reasons and the benefits of getting an emotional support dog and now I want one.

The reasons and benefits of an emotional support animal was a nice touch. The going in depth of it instead of just the “oh he’s an animal too” was great because this can be applied to anyone.

Wingman is so cute!

I’m in love with the idea that Gar turns into a dog to play with Wingman.

He also brings up the fact that he is getting better which is good and that he is talking to M’gann meaning we will probably see him again this season.

Also Victor is here! He seems to be happier. I think he is getting use to with his father box thing like Violet’s mother box thing. (I know they’re different but still)

I should probably also mention Harper.

For one, I love that she’s here and is best friends with Violet.

Two, I’m not sure how I feel about her being with Violet. Like on one hand I’m happy. They seem to have a good friendship and Harper was also very welcoming to Violet when they came to Happy Harbor. We might also see more of Harper too since she’ll be connected to Violet. On the other, when I saw them kiss last season, I kinda didn’t like it because they kissed while drunk and Violet was technically cheating on Brion if I remember correctly. But then again, I think it was because it came out of nowhere.

Like I feel like Violet should definitely move on from Brion and not feel guilty or responsible for his actions because she had no control over him nor his actions, but I also kinda have this questioning of why can’t Harper be their friend that’s lgbt. You know? They don’t have to get together because they’re LGBT.

Like why do they need to start a new relationship to have closer with the former. Why can they just have closer and not need this extra part?

At least not now

I’m not really against it and I’m actually excited about it, but I feel like I needed Harper to have played a big role or had a few more scenes with Violet in season 3 to be fully on board.

The talk Violet and Brion had was good!

The part where Violet says that they were a mother box fixated on fixing people just hit home for me.

Violet seemed torn with leaving Brion because they really loved abc cared and grown with him but the sudden change (or mind control) was too much for them. It broke my heart.

When mind control guy used the wrong pronouns, me and Violet were like they

I feel like Brion has good intentions but if getting manipulated severely. We know mind control guy can only suggest stuff- give a little push

In a way I respect Brion because he is trying to help meta humans and seems to care for them individually even remembering Lizard Jonny’s name.

Like he’s not bad just being a puppet for the bad side to use

The commercial was both cool and creepy

Cool because that seems something that I could see being an ad on tv

Creepy because of the implications it brings

Also we get to see a bit of what I would call “racism” against non meta humans in Markovia. I like it because it shows that meta humans can be racist too (you don’t see that a lot).

Also I think Fury is going to be the key to freeing Brion maybe or she is going to go to the league.

Also halo’s new outfit is amazing! I love it!

Now back to the Conner Chronicles in the Phantom Zone.

Phantom girl explaining things by drawing a picture helped me understand why they would end up in the phantom zone.

Also this brings up something I got from a Wally is alive theory that Wally is in the phantom zone and he just faxed into it.

Conner out right refusing Phantom girl and then outing her to the Zods made me scream.

This plot line could have been over so fast

Also now that Phantom girl is back in our dimension I think she’s going to help her team and Bart

I needed Dick and they delivered

OMG They delivered a great start to Dick’s arc. Like I got worried for a second that after Rocket’s plush arc, Dick’s might suffer as well. In a way I’m happy that it started, but like I cared more about what was happening in this episode than I did in Rocket’s arc.

For starters, Flying Dick Grayson (aka Dan Danger) is back. I’m just in love with the idea that Dick goes back to being a Flying Grayson every now and then. I live for more acrobat acrobat Dick Grayson, even though we see him as an acrobat Nightwing. I just need more performances from Dick is that too much to ask?

Also I was screaming for a net. I know he doesn’t need one, but you know

Trauma

Anyways, I love the whole enforcing not only the acrobat part of Dick’s character but also the detective. I feel like we don’t really get to see enough of him being a detective anymore (from any of the bats really) so I’m glad to see it here.

I love how they sat next to Clark and was like “Superman” without looking at him. Like they could have just been like “hey Clark got a minute?” But they had to be dramatic I love it!

Clark is not giving into peer pressure

This reminds me he’s kinda like Bart now.

I love how that’s how they got the entire group back together again. It worked seamlessly.

Kaldur took a needed month off (I think he should have taken more but sometimes having too much time off is bad too).

“Wyynde loves the look” made me laugh so hard

Also is Admistad wearing a Red Robin outfit or is it just me? Did Tim become Red Robin?

When I was watching them all get together, I was thinking don’t get Miss Martian involved please, and I’m glad they didn’t. Do you know how much trauma she would be in if she heard there might be a chance her husband is alive? Like I know he is alive but like she’s still mourning him and I feel like that’s something you tell someone when your absolutely sure.

Barbara mentioned as an amazing hacker! Love it!

Also the Bart Allen is missing alert. I’m like amazed that they do that. I’ve never thought about it but do you know how useful that could be. I wonder what other times that has been used.

I’m also crying because Jay had to call in to find his speedster teen

I’m crying think about when he decided to say he was missing. How long did he wait? Did he think he was with the outsiders for a bit? Did he have yo call the outsiders to find out he wasn’t with them?

But back to Bart’s time traveling adventures

His thought to go run and grab a collar and put it around Lor Zod’s neck with a determined look on his face like this isn’t the jokester he pretends to be. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this but Bart is almost like a completely different person than the one he acts. I’ve noticed this back in season 2 and I’m kinda glad that they remembered it because I don’t really see this type of character a lot.

When Lor Zod put a collar around Bart’s neck, I screamed. The trauma he faced when he was younger and all the effort he did to change the future only to then be placed back into the same position he was in made me want to yell at the unfairness of it.

I really hope we get to see some memories/backstory/trauma of Bart’s future. Like I know it’s probably not important but I would like to see more of him.

Also Lor Zod is basically abusing Bio ship. He needs to just get his ass kicked by someone already.

Maybe Miss Martian

The fight between the OG team and Klarion was pretty cool.

Also baby Teekl is so cute!!!

Klarion’s opening speech about contacting him only to stop when he realized who it was got me laughing hard. Does he do that every time? How many times does Teekl interrupt him when he does it? Are people intimidated by it? When I saw it I was like yeah ok Klarion you think you’re scary.

Magic School bus? I wonder who’s going to be Miss Frizzle and who’s going to be Arnold?

Phantom girl finally wakes up. I wonder how she is going to get them out without getting caught.

Also I’m getting the vibe that Ursa is going to be more of a threat to them than Dru and I don’t know how to explain it.

Also Conner thinks he killed Clark? Poor Conner. He’s suffering and he doesn’t remember everything.

Does he remember who M’gann is?!?

Also House of Luther,

I almost died.

But they mentioned Kara!

Indirectly but still! She’s in the universe!

At the end when they found signs of life in Kaizer Thrall, at first I thought it was Kara because she was mentioned and also they’re doing Kryptonians.

But then they said human and male and 11 and I was like who could that possibly be? We were all hoping for Wally to return this season but that can’t be him unless he de-aged but that’s highly unlikely even with the powers of a speedster because it’s kinda odd to do that.

I absolutely have no idea who this could be.

I felt like I went on an Odyssey with this arc (but not with Rocket)

So in all, I liked this arc.

But

Rocket was barely in it and I wasn’t completely invested in her beside the first and this last episode really, but I did like how her growth ended. I feel like it wasn’t completely earned because we didn’t see a lot of her, but I do like the message. In a way, the message had more to do with her than her son which I like. It’s about her seeing him and others. It’s not their problem. It’s hers.

Anyways, Metron

Why was he acting like he’s above them and not giving them an explanation? Like honestly I get it like “I am the smartest one here and you don’t need to know what’s happening in detail but you are heroes and something is in danger go save it.” That for me was too funny for no reason I think I’m loosing it

I love how Conner was like “I’ll save you” and Zod is like “bitch I’m already being saved”

Also sad that he tried yo take her partner with him. At least we know he really cares about her and is not completely heartless.

Tomar- Re

He sacrificed himself to save a planet because he didn’t want to fail saving a planet like Krypton again

He didn’t have enough power to have a shield and the thing and so

Anyways, with the whole Forager has to choose between earth and new genesis from last episode. I kinda like that Forager said she’ll leave her hive instead. I kinda like that they have no problems what so ever and are just simply in love. There’s like no drama and like that’s just the vibe with this ship.

Also the whole Forager is now a Green Lantern is great. I hope we get to see more of her as a Green Lantern.

Also I noticed that when she recited the Green Lantern Oath, she didn’t change her speaking pattern

I love it!

The adventures of Superboy in the Phantom Zone is coming to an end

Also Phantom girl finally is up and she can get Conner out but I got a feeling it’s not going to be that simple

Madame Xanadu at the beginning when she can’t get cell service in a swamp. I don’t know how to describe something that’s so funny and somewhat universally relatable

Zatanna bullying Nabu into help her proves she’s girl boss.

When she said she needs a detective I legit screamed

DICK GRAYSON YOU NEED DICK

Like that set up was brilliant

It was because we had really no kinda set up besides Conner’s death being the connecting thing which here it is too but it was a more pointing at the next arc thing

Unless I missed something

Another part I did scream at was when Jay said Bart I’m home

The No that ripped through my vocal cords shocked not only my cat but me as well

That was just

Bart’s being held hostage and his family is going to be worried about him because he thinks protecting the time stream is more important than him and I just want someone to go to him and tell him he is a part of their time now

Anyways, Rocket’s arc 6/10

Needs more Rocket but has good set up for the next arc (which is slightly messed up)

I’m so excited to see Dick

We haven’t seen him yet in this season and we still have Jason who might be revealed

There needs to be some Rocket in Rocket’s arc but still pretty good episode

Oh my god it took me forever to watch this week’s episode. Been busy with work and finals, so been having fun. Anyways, I liked this episode but like where’s Rocket? She’s there but like not a lot going on. It focused more on

The evil trio. Don’t got a lot to say about them, but like Metron is being so dramatic.

Metron literally tricked them and said they got what they deserve. Then “storms into the room” like come with me if you want to save the universe

I have no idea why I found that funny but also reminds me when Conner (“RIP”) yanked him out of his chair

Anyways the trio got the phantom projector and this is going to free Conner (finally) I’m guessing this is how the next arcs going to start.

Oh yeah the adventures of Conner M’orzz-Kent in the phantom zone

Young justice dropped a banger this episode

All joking aside, when they started chanting this I was like

“Conner this is obviously a cult. What are you doing? Run”

Then he kneels because Dru Zod was like you’ll be all alone

Which to be fair I would debate it too but like your telling me that this didn’t send any warning bells to Conner

Also Conner thinking about his wedding

I love it

The thing about phantom girl is that she is now confirmed (unless we are lied to which is a decent possibility) going to be in a coma till they get out. So like I said earlier once they opened the portal they’re going to find her and Conner.

But like she’s going to wake up and be separated from her friends because they went with Bart so she’s probably going to play a decent role in the next arc with the Zod cult

Side note: please tell me Bart is not going to go with them. I can’t bare it

Onto the Beast boy therapy session

First of all when he said I’ve been sleeping better recently

I was like

I can see the bags under your eyes that are as big as the bags of emotional trauma you are going to unload before I’ll allow you to leave this room

Also I shouted when he said Conner us chilling with Bart

Because if the Wally is in the phantom zone theory is true

My god is that such a good foreshadowing line

Anyways the real reason why I want to talk about this scene

Bart finally unloads everything off his chest and I really like it.

I like how they make him express that he feels responsible or could have done something more which a lot of people feel like that too and Dinah tears apart that faulty logic that so many people have

I also like how Gar is angry about not being able to go on missions even though he doesn’t want to go on missions. He wants some control over his life.

Also when I was watching the way he doge the drug test and the other questions and his logic was in a way believable but like Dinah you can tell he’s lying

When asked if Gar could call Perdita, he instantly said no. I really hope he can get back together with her.

At the end, Gar finally admits that he needs help.

I was really getting worried that this would end up with him dead

I hope we get to see him make up with people before the season finale. At least make up with M’gann.

I hope this is setting up something big

(Oh my god! I didn’t get around to watching this week’s episode when it came out. I had so much homework and preparing for finals)

Ok so I feel like not much really happened in this episode, but I feel like this is setting up for the final arc. Like they’ll complete Rocket’s arc, but besides her problems, the impact of what happens will set up the next arc.

Let’s start of with Rocket because it’s her arc. I think they’re not doing a lot with her because she hasn’t had a big role in the series, but doesn’t mean she isn’t interesting.

She still has her prejudice against Orion. I like how they tell her that he is the son of Highfather not Darkseid. They directly address it. In the next episode she’s probably going to see her son in him and maybe recognize what Orion’s parents (Highfather and Highmother) and probably the rest of the new gods treat him and the help they give him.

Oh yeah, why is Amistad’s dad calling her when he knows she’s busy trying to save the world and then guilts her. I understand it’s about their son and that is as good as a reason you can have- a love one in need. But like he could have waited till she was done. It wasn’t really life or death or an immediate decision she needed to make right then and there. I also feel like he shouldn’t have attended that meeting alone because they’re both the parents. While I don’t agree with Rocket not wanting to give Amistad the tools to possibly be more successful than he is now, I do think she has a right to at least listen in on the discussion since she still has some type of custody.

Sorry for that really long rant. It was just there for drama/enforcing Rocket’s dilemma.

Anyways, on to Forager.

Forager is in love with Forager and I’m like I can get behind this. It’s really cute and I can’t believe they made me think she was dead. Like I was going to riot. You give me a cute couple then kill one of them. Luckily, Forager was healed by Razer.

I have no idea who is Razer, but I like him.

I kinda can’t say a lot because I don’t know him, but he appears and I’m just like man, I want to know more. I feel like we were watching like the middle part of a story where the events that started a story has well past but the ending is far from hasn’t happen yet. This doesn’t mean it wasn’t interesting to watch. I might not know anything about him prior, but from what was written I got an idea. I got to see if the people who know him like him in this version.

Ok on to the main focal point of the episode. Even though it’s Rocket’s arc, I am curious about the back to the future group we got going on. The “I’m from another time but I’m still young” group have a talk. I love how Bart finally has someone to talk to about this. Also people he can relate to, but this brings up the question:

If he could find all the parts and build a time machine so fast, why hasn’t he done it?

The oblivious answer is because his time doesn’t exsist and he is outside of the time stream because of the radiation. Which side note: what is with that radiation? Why is it that radiation specifically causing that?

Anyways, I’m slightly curious if the Justice League and the Team knows that he can build one. If they did, then, they’d probably pressure Bart to build one every time someone makes an (almost) earth ending mistake.

Also Conner inspiring the Legion (@ Michael Bendis) I love that. I also love that Clark was the second best choice. Like ok I guess we have to work with what we got.

Oh yeah, I haven’t talked about Lor Zod

He’s fine.

Honestly, I’m not very scared of him. He’s kinda just there in a way making impacts to the story, but like planting kryptonite doesn’t make you a good fighter. A good planner yes which I am impressed in, but like I don’t know what he’s going to do besides steal a machine. I’m more scared of General Zod.

Anyways, we get the backstory on him. In a way it’s kinda sweet that he wants to free his parents, but also no. Like I don’t know how to solve the problem but that’s not it. It’s a tragic story really.

Also Zor-El was names dropped… is Kara coming soon?

Also with the whole ten years from now

What the fuck is happening then?

I feel like it’s going to be about the kid/baby/toddler super heroes older dealing with something really big with Apokolips, and it was Conner who inspired or said something or did something with them.

This also leads me to believe that if they needed a Kryptonian to do something in ten years it would be Jonathan Kent (Don’t @ Michael Bendis)

Or since the timeline got messed up the new person to inspire the Legion could also be

Wally West

Since he hasn’t led the Team yet, maybe…

Listen I know it might be far fetched to say Wally is alive but like it’s comics

First episode of Rocket’s arc

Ok so quick note- I know basically nothing about Rocket. So I’ve no background knowledge of her so I can’t be like she in character here, but I do like her at least.

Her son Amistad is autistic. I love how they established him by showing and only telling after showing Raquel trying to be a good mom and the conflict she has on a daily bases coparenting her kid.

I also think this is going to be a kind of connection she’s going to have with Orion. Like she’ll see her son in him or something of that nature.

Not that claustrophobia is the same as autism. They’re completely different disorders, but they do have the stigma of being not “normal” compared to others.

They also show claustrophobia as a legit phobia and not a joke. Most times I see claustrophobia it’s a joke, so I kinda appreciate it. The fist time we see it it’s there but it’s more of a building to the next time we see it at the hive. At the hive he gets so angry and attacks KIDS. I was scared that the machine was going to kill them but then he shows up angry and I’m like “oh god please tell me he doesn’t kill the kids” no one died I shouldn’t have thought they were going to do that but it’s been a weird week.

The motherbox therapy thing he’s got going on, I have no idea if that’s going to be a good thing or not.

I just had a thought what if Halo could heal him? Does he need to be healed actually?

Forager has a love interest maybe? Well new love interest because I think they were trying to get us to ship him with bioship

The meeting with the others is going to be in chaos next episode because this is a tv show. Why wouldn’t it end up a disaster?

Also I don’t want to sound like discriminating him but why is Jay here? Like don’t get me wrong I’m excited that he is because he’s a good character, but like why can’t he just relax with his grandson(?) Bart?

Because he’s the new kid on the team.

Next on the table: Conner

Again, I completely forgot he’s in the phantom zone and bits of his story pop up between scenes. I still don’t know why I forget when I’m watching that he’s in the phantom zone because outside of watching I’m stressing about it.

He’s a murderous Kryptonian. Other than be taken down by Conner who thinks himself is the murderous Kryptonian and his connection to what Lor Zod is doing (we’ll get to him) I’m not sure what’s he’s going to do but it will probably be cool so

Now on to what’s going on in Apokolips

It’s in a way nice to see what life is like on Apokolips is like

But in a way it’s nice to know that not everyone is all in

Young justice under the sea/pressure of being Aquaman has come to an end

And I thought it was great! Quick run down of the episode and my thoughts:

When they said they’ve been down there for weeks, I was like La’gaan better not miss his kid’s birth. But then I was like how have they been surviving like where are they sleeping? On the ground in the open? What about food? Water? Ok scratch that last one

I love the one on one convo with La’gaan and Wyynde about Kaldur and even Conner. I love how La’gaan wants to apologize to him for what happened in the past. Also he’s kinda concern about M’gann. Which makes sense, he at least cares for her as a team mate now.

I was thinking about this since last week’s drop and I think I figured out why I hated L’gaan and why I was so happy to jump on his poly ship. I think it was because all he was in season 2 was M’gann’s new boyfriend and we really didn’t get to see him outside of that and that whole role was to be a block for Supermartian. So I don’t necessarily think it was hatred for him but more like the situation because that was all his character was in the show. Now with him in a new (positive) relationship, I can enjoy him being in the show because he has at least a bit more of a role than being a wall.

I love that M’gann is not only helping Orin but also doing it with a mermaid tail. But back to what she’s doing. I like how her powers are being showcased more with doing good things. It’s so easy for other shows to be like oh they have mind powers and can read minds that’s it. I like how there’s a bit more to it. I know this isn’t a recent development and I have thought of this before but I just wanted to say it again.

Plus she’s doing this when she should be taking a break. Her husband just died a bit ago. Can’t they ask anyone else and let her take a break with her brother (Gar)?

Also I knew it wasn’t the real Arion. It was just too suspicious, but I wouldn’t have guessed that it was really Orm. Like did not see that coming. I thought Lady Shiva was like this is a disgraced and killed him. But if I remember correctly she did take his body.

When they found the crown, I was begging for Kaldur not to be the true king. Like for a second I thought they were going to do that because he was so overworked and taking on so many responsibilities so the plot would be like you know what could make this worse?

As the team was swimming towards the leaders, I was like can someone tell L’gaan that his wife is in labor. Like he has important places to be. Not dealing with this mess.

When Orm put on the crown, I was like he’s going to die.

He did.

His skeleton looked pretty cool.

I love the “twist” I guess you would call it. I love that Mera was like my husband is you true king. Then he’s like no you are the true king and then just tells her how importaint she is to their people and how strong she is. I love that everyone accepted her! Plus I do love that Orin’s little arc about feeling not being able to be king ended with him not being king. It was kinda refreshing that the ending of that was you are a good king. It was giving up his power and then taking care of his son and supporting his wife and becoming Aquaman again- something that made him happy. I love that it ended with him become a househusband.

Also Kaldur is taking a much needed break. I wonder if he’ll appear in any other episodes this season or just the finale of the season. I’m so glad that he’s decided to take some time off and spend it with his boyfriend and sister (kinda I guess at least that’s what I’m assuming their relationship is suppose to be or just friends)

Conner is still stuck. I slightly forgot about that for a hot second that he was struggling with himself and not just chilling.

Vandal Savage’s plan didn’t go according to plan. This is new. I really thought for some reason that finding the crown and killing Orm was all according to plan. I didn’t know how but it’s him so. Nabu comes specifically to roast him. In my mind, I think Vandal see himself as a lord of order or even a lord of balance.

Also back to the whole Orm thing and how killing him was a part of the plan. Is Ra’s leaving a part of the plan? I know I bring this up a lot, but I’m absolutely concerned with what he’s up to. Like you don’t leave Ra’s to his own devices.

Also the ending with Kaldur taking to I think Dinah about how basically every bad thing that has happened in the last 10 years was because Dick, Wally and him were reckless kids making a team after freeing Conner. I was like Kaldur no death was always going to follow you because your a (dc) superhero like there was no way out of it

Side note I could not get into his words after he mentioned the deaths of Conner and Jason (and Wally) because like we know Conner and Jason aren’t dead (at least not anymore in Jason’s case) but I get what he’s saying. It was still impactful but my mind was trying to be like no Jason is alive and I was like quiet Kaldur’s finally getting therapy

I can’t wait for next week. I think it’s going to be Rocket’s because I feel like Dick’s going to be the finale because it’s Dick Grayson. I don’t know a lot about Rocket but I’m excited to watch the arc.

By the way we have not really seen Dick at all besides I just non speaking roles (I think) and also Artemis after her arc. I really hope they have an importaint role this season too. And by that I mean Artemis is in the story outside of her arc.

Also what is happening with Bart and the Legion teens like are we not going to talk about it?

Young Justice Season 4 second half premiere

I got busy there with school and finished the 1st part during the break but didn’t blog but you probably don’t care. Anyways, I’m so excited it’s back!

***Also spoilers***

Episode 14:

Ok first I love that we’re getting more into Atlantis and Aquaman lore. I don’t know much about it but I am interested in how this arc is going to go.

I love how they do mention that Kaldur has been working really hard from going undercover to becoming Aquaman without anytime to breathe

I like that they’re including more of Dolphin and more on the culture of Atlantis

I love how they brought up Wyynde’s past. I only knew about what happened from you guys, so I’m glad it was included so everyone’s on roughly the same page of who he is. Plus the fact about how people change their beliefs on what’s right is great.

Also I love how it’s getting a bit on the politics side of Atlantis. Call me a weirdo but I like learning stuff about that because I like the parallels in our world.

They dropped more on Kaldur’s backstory with his adoptive dad. I love that Kaldur stated that it doesn’t matter who his bio dad is, all that matters is the one who raised him.

Also like I said I’m not 109% familiar with Aquaman’s lore but why is Mera’s dad not caring?

So we see La’gaan playing with Arthur which was really cute. Then he has a moment with his wife, and I was like ok he’s moved on from M’gann and is happy good to know. I’m glad we got an update on him. But then during the fight scene Coral was like I have to help my husband. I was so confused I was like was this an accident or something. Then La’gaan was like my wife and husband are in danger. And I started screaming. I was not expecting a poly relationship. Like I’m so happy but the fight was going on so I was like can you guys calm down for a sec I’m fangirling here. I love how it’s really casual. That’s the representation I love.

Also Atlanteans are doing great in representation: Adoptive families, Same sex couples, Poly relationships… like I’m so happy I can’t communicate sorry

Ok next is Conner’s part. I like that he’s not completely freaking out and he’s trying to help the girl in a coma. He’s all alone but he’s talking to her is just something I would do in that situation. I’m not excatly sure what’s going on but I’m excited yo find out.

Halo’s part… OMG I’m so happy. Like I love this representation of Islam culture and also immigrants from Islam. Troia gave them visas and Madia who is a doctor is having trouble finding work at her level is just heartbreakingly real.

I do appreciate the interest Halo has about learning who they are as a person not Gabrielle. I love the conversation about should they wear the hijab because of religion and even gender. I feel like I now know a bit more about wearing a hijab. If anyone who does wear a hijab, was this an accurate portrayal?

The talk about God and Granny Goodness… like that is such a good explanation on why worship a god and who to worship in general. You could apply that to anyone: a god or a person.

Halo talking about discovering their gender and what pronouns are meant to be at the end is just great.

I feel like people are going to mention how it was scattered because of the three plots together, but I kinda liked it because it wasn’t like we had to sit through a political meeting or Conner having a one way conversation for 20 minutes. It was evenly distributed between the three more or less.

Overall was not expecting poly relationship and Islamic faith representation but I’m all for it. Can’t wait to watch the next one to see the Kaldur arc continue.

Episode 15

Ok so first off, I laughed so hard when Clark was trying to pretend he wasn’t Superman and Saturn Girl looked at him and was like ok?

So with the thing about Superboy being there either it’s still wrong because technically he’s not in the same dimension or something where ever he is and they will go back to their time or possibly it’s the wrong Superboy and it’s Jonny because in 10 years that’s around the time he pick up the mantle and all that but this one is unlikely because how can you make that kind of mistake?

Also Bioship!

On Kaldur’s childhood, I love how he thinks of his parents in a good light even though their life wasn’t good. They were bad parents but they’re good people because they gave him love. Like they weren’t “abusive”, but were unable to take care of a kid. I’m glad that they do admit their faults in raising him and how he got to where he is today by taking on too much. I like how they are proud but are more worried about him as a person and not his achievements

I feel like King Authur is feeling like he isn’t a hero or who he was when he was Aquaman and he wants to go back and be more “useful” I wonder if we’ll see more of it.

So things about the two big reveal:

The son of Vandal Savage, first king of Atlantis, lord of order, Arion has appeared and… I think he’s not the rightful ruler. I feel like he’s going to go to Vandal at the end of the arc or something. But I’m getting the feeling it’s going to be Arthur (king or jr) or Kaldur. I just can’t trust him. There’s something off. He’s probably not working for Orm but like there’s something off.

And finally OH MY GOD they need to talk to Bart?!? I’m so scared like what’s going to happen. I kinda don’t want him to be taken to the further with them but also I kinda do? Like I think it would be interesting but also no?

Episode 16:

Ok so let’s talk about Conner’s visions to motivate him to keep jumping. This is probably his subconscious telling him to keep going and where ever he is can manifest thought or just has a connection with the mind. So I found the M’gann part so cute. It was her at different points in her life. I also forgot to mention that I really like the part about a happy and calm memory got the monster away because he stopping being angry which comes to play in the third person he sees. I was like aww then oh my god! I think it was Match or what Conner believes what he could be/been. That caught me off guard though.

Also Wally… they keep name dropping him and all this other stuff. I understand that it doesn’t mean he’s coming back but… there’s been a bit more of here then season 3 if I remember correctly or just feels like it. I don’t know maybe they’re messing with us.

Ok let’s now talk about Beast boy and his on going battle

I really love Jaime and Virgil how they had it all planned out and were trying to help. I just really liked how it was kind of how it would be realistically with your friend. I don’t know, I just love the energy they were giving off when they did that.

I think the one that really hit me was Cliff because it was just so moving. He was asking Gar to get help and let him help him because he was there when the Doom Patrol died. By the way, I want more of an explanation on what happened, but that’s not the point right now. To me his part just seemed so real. It’s not like the other weren’t, it’s just this seemed different from the others and I’m not sure why.

Ok before I going on about how I was right to have bad feelings about Arion, let’s talk about everything else in Atlantis

So I love the poly marriage La’gaan got with the baby on the way! But the whole we don’t say good bye thing is a big red flag. Someone’s dying next episode like no playing.

It could be Arthur that does but more on that later.

I love Wyynde. Wyynde trying to convince Kaldur that he’s pushing himself. My favorite part is when after he was like telling Dolphin to ask for help and she asked him who will help you and Wyynde shouts “Thank you!” I laughed so hard

King Arthur is doing his best to be “useful” or what I really mean is being Aquaman again. I love the sharks he called in to back him up. He is still on his game. It’s kinda sad that he visited the prison 16 times but never went in.

To be honest, I wasn’t thinking clone but I don’t really know what I was thinking when I knew his head was cut off by Lady Shiva. Maybe oh he just got better? I’m so dumb

I have no idea who Arion is. I have a feeling he’s not the real him but then again he could be because we know he at least had immortality at one point but I'm pretty sure he’s an imposter trying to take the throne and maybe crown.

I have a feeling that Arthur might die and Kaldur who has had to take on many roles has to decide if he wants to be in charge, since they are focusing heavily on that side of his character- taking a lot of responsibility when he’s struggling.

Also what is happening with Bart. I need that answered next please! I’m worried…

Again I’m late to the party

I was prevented from watching this episode because of family. Funny enough, this episode was about family. At least it was about found family which we stand in this house.

So we now know for sure Onyx is not a mole. I love her story. I hope we get to see more of her.

Cass almost had her battle with her mom taken away. Like I understand Artemis didn’t think she could do it. I was just really excited to she Cass fight Shiva. With swords? I was more thinking of hand to hand combat but a fight’s a fight. I’m glad we got to see her not only fight her mom but show that she understands not to be like her. Without saying a word. A kinda good show don’t tell thing. I wonder why she is so obsessed with getting Cass. Like I understand this a foil for Jade and training a human soldier is not a quick process, but like this urgency, there has to be a reason for needing her. Probably there’s not a really deep explanation besides she want her daughter.

The Shade was a real plot twist. I did not see that coming.

More Barbara and Cass please!

Jonny! We get to hear him talk, and we get to see the Kent’s!! Sad considering the circumstances, but since I am almost 100% certain he isn’t dead, I’m not really worried. But I love how they brought up Clark and Conner’s relationship in season 1. They are brothers! I love it.

Jade almost went back. She wants to be with her family but she can’t because she’s scared. I found it really cute that Lian made a “mommy” mask. This means that she knows who her mom is which is kinda good. However she kinda made a mask of a criminal, but it’s so innocent. She wants to be her mom! A strong woman.

Jason, because that is who the Red Hooded Ninja is, talked again. I wonder if this season it will be revealed at least to us that Jason is alive.

What if they just put him in the show just to mess with us?

Also everyone but Artemis bows when Ra’s Al Ghul entered. Artemis isn’t going to give the crazy old guy “respect.”

The whole Ra’s Al Ghul family bootcamp thing is interesting. I trust him because Dick said “Ra’s Al Ghul is many things, but a liar isn’t one of them.” I trust that. I trust that he does want to help them. That’s not what I’m really concerned about. What I am concerned about is why? Why does he want to help them? What does he have to gain? Why did he left the League?

The talk about how the league manipulated people to be zealous to the cause and the way they showed Talia during that scene and at the very end is trying to tell us something. Earlier in the arc we had Talia say she would never give up Damian. I wonder if this will play into Dick’s arc or not. I don’t know exactly what they’re trying to tell us but I do know it has to be connected with Shiva and Jade. There is a connection between Shiva and Talia because they were in the same pose to the camera at the end.

Late Young Justice post

Oh my god I just now got to watch episode 7. I wanted to on Thursday, but then go a flat tire on the highway in the cold dark night. Like really? I don’t have time for that. Anyways, you might not even care that I do this, but I want to. So here’s my thoughts on this episode:

We found out the mole is the biggest one. I like the callback on the season 2 charm thing.

I think that it might be safe to say Onyx is truthful. I kinda hope she becomes friends with Tara.

More M’arzz! M’gann kicked all the rebels just to yell at her brother. She now knows there’s more at play here than just them. So mystery?!? Yeah no. All of us are like 86% certain he’s in the future, but that’s going to be a fun adventure,

M’gann’s sister is coming to Earth! While she’s not really a character I care about fully, I think it’s going to be interesting for her to come to Earth. She’s the only one in the group of siblings to attend the wedding. I think she’s going to be the one to help M’gann with her grief unlike what she did when they were kids.

Artemis is a great leader. Like she is killing it.

But like SEND IN THE BATS. Like there would be no problems otherwise. They’d do whatever it takes because they’re not going to let what happened to Jason happened to Cass.

The bats taking done the joker as a team is amazing! I love the bats.

I love the screen time on Cass and Babs’s relationship. Love it! The comparison and contrast to Jade and Artemis? Love it! I hope we get to see a family reunion after this mission is done!

Also I love what they did to how Babs became paralyzed. It has to with the joker yes, but it has more meaning than senseless violence. It kinda puts her in a more heroic light than a damsel in distress situation. It makes her seem more stronger than the Joker just shooting her because she opened a door. I don’t know. I like it. Do you?

By the way, my heart hurt when Dick was by her side telling her to hold on and Babs holding Cass’s hand telling her she did it to save her. That just hits me so hard.

Jade is back! Never doubted that she was coming back because of the foreshadowing.

However based on the plot description for next episode “help is offered from an unexpected source,” I thought that that was when Jade was going to come. So who is it? My guess is that it has to be Talia Al Ghul and Jason or the Al Ghuls (And Jason) because they were shown in the beginning of this arc. They’re going to appear at least at the end of the arc with Jade. Or maybe the time travelers? I don’t know, but I have a feeling that it isn’t referring to Jade.

The plot thickens on Young Justice

Jade only coming home for Lian because she’s Lian’s blood and tissue match

We learn that Will isn’t a blood and tissue match for Lian. That probably won’t be important just making note of it

So we still don’t know which one is the traitor. I don’t it’s either of them really. We learn both of their backstories and they are believable.

Cassandra Savage’s mom is still alive with two half siblings. I wonder if she’ll meet up with them for her ending maybe. Also what was her mom thinking. Her child was taken when her kid was four. Like was it a kind of divorce thing going on or did he faked his death or what?

I love Onyx’s backstory. I don’t know anything about her character so I don’t know if she’s YJ exclusive or has a comic counter part, but I love her backstory. The fact that she felt a kind of family with the shadows. It’s like a real cult. But what I did take note was that she felt things had change once they moved to Santa Prisca and she calls Ra’s The Great One. She has respect towards him and when he was leader, things had to be significantly different than now with Deathstroke running it. I still have a feeling that Ra’s is up to something. It’s like they’re saying it’s better for the shadows to be led by Ra’s and I don’t know how to feel about that. They’re making him less of the bad guy he has been portrayed as in recent years and has turned him back into an anti hero kind. I love it, but I’m also curious as to what plans they have for him.

Let’s go to Gar real quick. He’s going through a hard time, and it’s very real. I live the little cuts in between with not a lot of words. It’s most atmosphere and a great show don’t tell thing as well! The tensions are rising with Brion and Markovia vs Perdita. I like the Brion uses social media very realistic but it worries me about how he’s making it a meta human “safe” space. I love the idea of a safe space for them, but we know it’s under the control of the light. They’re going to have a much easier building an army when they come to you. Poor Gar. This drama is preventing him to spend time with her girlfriend who he could be with to help get through this tough time.

We got to see more of Artemis’s boyfriend. I still don’t know exactly what to feel. Like I said before I’m happy that she’s happy. I’m just a bit stressed about the if Wally comes back. He might not come back, but if he did this is going to go BAD. Actually forget about that for a second. What about Artemis when she finds out what her friends did. To be honest, I kinda understand why they did it. They wanted her to move on from the grief that was really eating at her, and they can’t tell a girl who is in a deep grief and mourning that they can’t find his soul. Like that’s not going to end well. It’s also not going to end well when she finds out. Just to reiterate I’m perfectly fine with her moving on from Wally. What I’m not fine with is the moving on from plot points that will cause SO much drama for the relationship they’ll have. Like I can’t enjoy it If I’m making up stress for something that might not even happen.

I know all of these has been mostly heavy, but I just want to say I love Stephanie in this. I love her interactions with Cass and Artemis.

I love how Onyx knew who Jade was. Also Rip off Spider-Man knew of Jade’s live for Will and worked for her.

I’m kinda worried about Cass. I know she probably won’t die because they won’t kill her and Shiva probably is just bluffing because she would have “wasted” her time training her. (Side note: I love the detail of Artemis saying her dad was extremely abusive but didn’t think he’d kill her. It’s something I think a lot of abused kids think.) I’m not 100% familiar with Cass’s entire backstory. But I thought David trained her completely and Shiva gave up her baby and she likes her daughter. I’m probably wrong. Someone correct me please.

Also it has been confirmed that Cass can’t talk. I remember posting something about that during season 3. Which was a very lucky guess.

The flashbacks of childhood were so good. It showcase the abuse the felt with and also reveals that Artemis did see her sister on and off from time to time. And because of the flashback we know Jade lied to Artemis to see if one of them was a spy and will follow behind them.

And Final point: Jade is calling out all the baby assassin moms! She called out Talia last episode. I wonder who she’s going to call out next. Vandal? Slade? Maybe Batman?

This time on Young Justice

Spoilers for Young Justice Season 4 Episode 5 Tale of Two Sisters

first off that montage of Artemis: AAAHHHH! She’s now a professor who teaches students at a college!! I’m so happy for her. Then I think she has a boyfriend maybe. Don’t know how I completely feel about that since I believe Wally isn’t dead (I’m in denial I know). Like I’m perfectly ok with her being with someone else. It’s just that if they bring Wally back, it’s going to be heavy angst.

Secondly,more importaintly, the fact that they went to her house and told her in person and that she knew before they said anything that someone died makes my heart hurt. Add that in with the montage of the reverse of what we just saw, Season 4 is really trying to get the ice around my heart to melt. It’s really trying. I swear.

I can’t believe that Will still has the family photo of him and Jade and Lian. I love that photo.

I also loved the group photo from what I can assume is season 1 or at least 2.

Ok so this will get out of order in the ways I want to talk about it just a heads up (The mole, the backstory flashbacks, and then Jade)

Ok so I think we can trust Casandra Savage because she did tell the truth about her sister Olympia dying in front of her by their dad. We know that that is true. And she did seem to try to reassure herself that she was old and it was a mercy. Although that could be what they want us to think. I don’t know for sure.

I feel like we might be able to trust Onyx. I’m not really completely sure about this. Because I do believe Terra that she isn’t blood thirst enough to be an assassin, but like that doesn’t really matter. They could just be blackmailing her to do it and she doesn’t necessarily have to kill them to betray them. I’m not 100% certain, but I do feel we might get a ought Terra scenario from her or even Cassandra Savage.

I love that bit with Stephanie. Absolutely love it. I love Stephanie.

But back to the mole thing. As much as I want to believe them, I have to believe Cassandra Cain. Cassandra Cain is rarely if ever wrong about someone because she can read body language fluently. There’s no reason not to trust her.

I wonder if we might be able to see a little “redemption” (in this scenario I don’t think she has anything to be redeemed) for Terra because of this. Maybe she’ll relate to her.

Ok so the flashbacks! We get to see how Sportsmaster actually trained his daughters. Why did he make them make wear masks? But then again that’s such an abusive parent thing. Also, the way he treated Jade when she called him out on it to protect Artemis. Absolute Trash Dad.

We get to see the ending to the part of the flashback we already saw and the og flashback also being remastered. The ending to that is horrifying because we know what happens after. But since we know what happens after, it’s kinda shows how much Artemis’s life has changed. We saw in the beginning of the episode of her life being happy. It’s really impactful to me at least.

I hate the fact that Jade left but I understand why she did it. I love that they showed her on a train protecting herself discreetly, showing she’s tough. But since she was tough, she has trouble accepting a happy life like Artemis has.

Ok I’m getting way too deep here.

But it goes along to with the next section I want to talk about

Ok first why does Paula have the ability to contact Jade and then blames her for never being there when she would come home for them. First thing she does is ask what’s wrong with Lian. While I do think her mom is right in the fact that she had everything, but who knows maybe she had to continue her work you don’t know. I’m also kinda want to think that that was why she wanted to die by Sensei was so she didn’t want to face her family.

Also Sensei is the one that helped with finding Roy

So if Jade is in debt, what could they have her do? Why do they want her to want to live? She’s not going to be sent on a suicide mission then, but what do they want to do with her? I wonder if this means that at the end of this arc she goes to work for the Al Ghuls or goes back home to her family. I would love for her to go back to her family even though I think it’s unlikely for her to be able to go back to her family.

Also back to the Al Ghuls. What are they doing? You expect me to believe that they’re just chilling on that island and are doing nothing because Ra’s sees the world in grays now. Like no? That wouldn’t stop him from doing his shadow things. “Once a shadow always a shadow” It only means that he changed the way he’s going to do them. You cannot tell me he’s not planing something. He finally has a “worthy” heir. He’s going to go back to the light or steal back the Shadows. There’s no way that he’s just going to sit on the sidelines like?

By the way I love how Talia walks in with her two sons. She’s also carrying Damian. Also it is confirmed that it is Damian (Wayne). He looks so cute!! I’m so happy! Love the fact that Jade the one who gave up her daughter to live a more happy/safe life than her tells Talia a woman who grew up about the same way as her that her son is going to need therapy and Talia is like no he’s not going to need therapy because he has me. I’m just like Dude he’s always need therapy that’s like his whole thing he can’t function he has like one brain cell when it comes to feelings I don’t I can’t get this out of my mind. I get Jade’s point I do, but like it’s not going to be that much better like comparing Jade giving Lian to Will to Talia giving Damian to Bruce. While it would be better, in canon it’s not Bruce that helps Damian be a hero as much as the main stream people want you to believe. It is Dick, Dick needs to get Damian and Jason who might possibly have is memories back like I don’t think that’ll exactly be his arc but maybe something similar. I can only hope.

Also while Talia is irresponsible with raising her son in an environment like hers, she does seem to genuinely care for him. I wonder if Jade might learn from Talia or vise versa because I really hope they’re not going for the Grant Morison run’s Talia.

I wrote so much this week I’m so sorry I don’t know what got into me…
