As a result, I was inspired to reboot my Frank Castle/OC fic!

Sometimes I forget that I put the first Abed x reader story on Ao3, so then it's really jarring to see it tangentially discussed in a post in the wild 😂 The 2020 fic, that was me, and I was likewise shocked by the fact that there were (at the time) zero Abed/Reader fics on ao3

Long story short, be the change you want to see in the world! Request those fics, write those fics! Send the authors comments saying what you like about those fics!

for the love of God, i have been watching community nonstop for two weeks now, and it's an understatement to say i'm HOOKED.

i've especially grew fond of a certain lovable tv loving addict, and it PAINS me so that I DO NOT SEE A LOT OF FANFICS ABOUT HIM.

i have searched EVERYWHERE; on tumblr, on ao3, on wattpad, fanfiction.net... i went through a lot of websites just to quench my thirst of more reader insert fics of abed nadir. so to speak, i am very sad and disappointed to see that there are only 7 works currently in ao3 of fanfic about reader insert and abed (and it only started on 2020, what-) and the most i've gotten out were from tumblr. but still, it's not a lot.

so to all the writers out there who love community and abed nadir... PLEASE WRITE MORE CONTENT ABOUT HIM. I. AM. DYING. TO SEE MORE FANFICS ABOUT HIM (well particularly, reader insert ones).

and i'm really shy to reach out and make a request to those who do make abed-insert fics, so i'll just...wait til i get the courage for that (which will probably be sitting under my butt forever).

So with tumblr's recent AI bs, it looks like I'm definitely going to have to nuke all my fics off of here. I've already privated everything and moved it to Ao3, but I read that private posts won't be protected, which is a shame, because I had hoped to use the method of privating my old works in order to retain the comments I had received whilst still removing my work from the site, but alas.

Anyways, I'll always keep my works available on Ao3, and I'm still going to be on this blog to chat about the fics :)

Heyo, its kinda weird to say insulting things to someone that you don't know as the intro to a compliment. Please read this with a neutral tone, but if you come to someone's inbox saying things that would be mean without the context of a separate compliment at the end, please think twice about what you're saying.

I appreciate that you enjoyed my story, but we also do not know each other and the insults ultimately outweigh the compliments, even if they're meant to be ironic - because again, we don't know each other and it's just not an appropriate way to approach a stranger.

hiii omg!! I'm reading cause of death on ao3 and OMG!!! tiny bit of a rant? but. OMG!!!!

first, i adore how you write the district attorney. i appreciate how you show that they're confused, disoriented, struggling- but they're not a whiny crybaby about it, y'know? they have that backbone, that stubbornness that we know and love from the da.

and i also love the!! writing!!!!! of them with the other characters!!!!!!! it's so refreshing to not have it be.. a reverse harem, i think that's the term? or something close to it, where all the egos immediately fall in love with/become friends with this strange person in their home. the unease and suspicion of most of them toward the da was so interesting, and it makes it so rewarding to see how they slowly grow close and gain trust!

i also love how you write them all distinctly? the egos i mean, and it falls heavily on the dialogue, which i love as well. even without the descriptions afterwards, you can tell who's speaking just from the way you write! yancy and the host are kinda obvious, but illinois? eric, google, bim! you can just.. hear their voices as you read, because you write them so distinctly!

i also very much appreciate your interpretation of dark and wilford. like honestly, it's so hard to find a fic that's well written and hits every mark ( haha ) for proper characterizations, but yours is a goldmine!

sorry for the essay, but honestly, thank you for sharing your work. i skimmed some of your stuff from fandoms i'm not familiar with, and the enjoyment is the same across the board.

I love the idea of Ego Manor, genuinely one of my favorite concepts from the Markiplier Cinematic Universe stuff, and I really wanted to deep dive into the dynamics of everyone who lives there. As I sat down to write, I just knew I had to incorporate the fact that the Egos wouldn't trust the DA so easily. It's definitely something to be earned, which leads to all kinds of fun dynamics.

I really love to write each of them as differently as Mark portrays them! In the past I've always felt dialogue was a weak spot for me, but in recent years a lot of people have said it's something I do well, so I'm very pleased to hear that you think so too!

Again, thank you so much! You don’t have to apologize, I love hearing all of your thoughts! I can't wait to get the next part up, I've got a touch of writer's block, but I think I may have found a way to get past it :)

I moved all of my works exclusively to Ao3 from now on, due to lack of interaction here on Tumblr. On my new masterlist, which should be the pinned post, all of the links will take you to the works on my Ao3.
