Don't know how people are gonna feel about this but Loki should've been dealt with the way they dealt with Lucifer (from the Netflix show) I mean while the show straight up dismissed loki's feelings, lucifer netflix really showed us the natural and organic character growth with ups and downs while still maintaining the comic hilarity (WHICH WASNT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MC). It's love interest and side characters are all original characters dealt as independent characters rather as brownie or plot points.

And the scenes that prompted me to think this?

1. Lucifer asking his Mazikeen to cut off his wings because he's moved past being a pawn in his father's 'Great Plan'. We could've had loki come to this conclusion and tell Mobius (who would've been an actual all out ally who was forced into doin lg what he did) that he no longer wanted any place in a land that hated him. (Once again like Lucifer calling the silver city hell)

2. Lucifer actually being the way he's supposed to be (angel of light, light bringer etc.) We could've had Loki act like the way he Actually Is. Not like how @iamnmbr3 so eloquently put it 'like larry the dumb lookalike'. We could've had Loki being stern yet having that air of sarcasm and wit that he had in his the films. His eloquence, his physical prowess (none of the falling flat on his face stuff, a lot of people talk about how he was trying not to hurt the people in ep 2 but srsly Loki would just immediately disarm them), and most of all his agency and refusal to cower or the pathetic attempts at lying.

3. Costumes. The lucifer netflix team had an extensive costume department that ironically pales in comparison to what disney is capable of but still we see Lucifer have a wide array of clothes and styles. Have Loki take the first chance to change his clothes. If he wants the 50s aesthetic have at it! he can wear the tuxedos and the nice leather. Or maybe change into some nice Viking-inspired leathers and battle armor. Have him as a pirate, or a knight or a cowboy. You're traveling through time good man! you can at least hit some of the cool spots.

4. In depth analysis of lucifer's mental health. the only episode of the Loki tv show I liked (loose term) is the first one cause it's the only one that gave a fraction of what we were promised: an insight into loki. That's it.

5. Lucifer's organic growth. This is self-explanatory. Loki watched one video and was good. Very good five stars. I understand that they only had six episodes but come-on. You could've had the subtle changes through out all the eps and lead to the big finish finally. With each episode focusing on certain aspects of Loki.

5. Lucifer's exploration of self-loathing. This deserves to be a separate point because Istg it was done so well. Basically lucifer messes up and he's faced with the hatred that's been conditioned into him (not unlike Loki) and then he learns what it is and actually tries to love himself. And not by kissing a female variant of himself (ew and also respect the gender fluid persons). He actually saw the good in him by reflecting and his actual good friends helping him.

6. Lucifer actually wanting to be good. Look Idc what shut mike waldron wrote, loki is not selfish when his whole arc has been doing things for asgard, thor, odin, frigga etc. We all know that New York was mind control, I do not know why it's being swept under the rug. But here's the thing, that self loathing I mentioned earlier is a huge part of Loki thinking he's some monster and intent on proving it.

7. Lucifer facing his 'devil-face'. Loki should've come to terms with his Jotun heritage. The TVA could've had a case in Jotunheim concerning the Royal Family and Loki could've seen the entirety of Jotunheim and it's people not just that most-likely war propaganda the Asgardians force-fed him. Maybe have him meet his siblings or better yet his mother. There's a very nice fic on A03 called Asgardian Galdr that deals with this beautifully.

8. Luicfer having a Breakdown and Crying: First off this happens gradually, his problems pile up etc etc. and he faces off his father and gets angry until he finally breaks down. And basically God says, "I'm sorry but i can't fix you," And Lucifer in all his grief and desperation asks, "But you're God,'. I know we talk a lot about Loki being made weak in the Show but that's specifically about him being made weak and helpless to make Sylvie seem like a stronger character (Don't get me started on the Sif and Narcissm scene istfg), But maybe seeing Loki try awkwardly to be good and near the finish of the show we see it blow up in some angsty way? only for some conversation like this to happen and have Loki understand that being good is something that is innate and something he already had the potential for all along. Maybe learn that he's not lawful good but as always the morally grey character we know him as. (Protector of misfits, god of outcasts i.e all the shit Marvel shat on) and rise as the God of Chaos and Stories against the rigid bonds of The TVA and essentially Kang.

9. Lucifer having a nice healthy romantic interest and relationship. Lucifer and Chloe's relationship is more often than not the main point of the show but no matter how much it is focused on it remains health, organic and not a weird allegory for something disgusting. Even if Sylvie weren't a Loki (once again ew) the whole dynamic was toxic. She constantly put him down, and invalidated his feelings (Sounds like Odin huh?) and guess what Loki fell in love with her after one day, one conversation of what love was and Mobius calling her his girlfriend (he also said that it was freakish and i agree). We could've had Sigyn sweet lord. (I'll make another post about this)

10. Lucifer's Sexuality. There is a whole episode in which Loki's paramours are getting murdered and they all vary from men to women to all that comes in between. And there's no shame, no offensive jokes. Have Loki flirt with dudes, i understand ms.karen that this is for children, don't worry the casual sex ;) was offscreen. Have Loki turn into a woman and flirt with woman cowards, maybe make some questionable remarks about horses (That make Sigyn laugh)

11. Lucifer's Powers: lemme sum up, Lucifer can, let's call it, use compulsion on people. He is known for his strength and prowess and abilites to grant favors. Have Loki shapeshift into animals, absolutely mauling people. Have him use his silver-tongue to coax people into making or changing history (Yes Brutus, Caesar is getting to be a bit much, say have you heard how sharp knives are?)

I'm pretty sure there's more that i can't remember rn. And here is one thing i would like to make very clear.

You are not bad for liking the show or hating it whatever. The problem is that the show framed a lot of bad things as good (Anything the TVA did, Mobius' torture session with Loki, the way Sylvie treated Loki only for them to become romantic partners, the Sylkie fiasco as it was offensive to genderfluid people and the bare fucking minimum of LGBTQ and POC rep). The show was also marketed specifically to make us think hey! Loki might actually be the main character only for it to blow up in our faces. We were also promised an actual plot rather than a constantly plot twisting concept that could've been worth something.

Also i'm still working on a Loki fic rn after which i will write a Loki(TV) Rewrite but unitil then ig.

Nitpicking, my loves

I know this is going to make me sound pretensions but I have to get it off my chest. I feel an unimaginable rage when someone posts a photo and is like “this picture looks like a renaissance painting lol” when the photo clearly has the lighting, colors and composition of a baroque or romantic painting. There are differences in these styles and those differences are important and labeling every “classical” looking painting as renaissance is annoying and upsetting to me. And anytime I come across one of those posts I have to put down my phone and go take a walk because they make me so mad

Despite the fancy survey, changes to the UI and TOS reveal we’re getting the service in the future whether we want it or not. Obviously, Post+ is a terrible idea that is trying to bank revenue on user content. Unlike patreon or onlyfans, tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content. The legality of this is NOT in the users favor and as the new tumblr TOS states, said users will be entirely liable for whatever legal matters arise.

And So It Goes- 3 [Marauders/Regulus Black x fem OC]

Summary: Agatha and Regulus do some research in the library and Regulus forms a theory.

The rest of the day, the marauders would keep changing into their animagus form whenever they wished.

James was acting like a king for he believed, his animagus was the most magnificent, which Sirius and Agatha kept denying but secretly agreed to.

Peter did not really argue for his animagus's magnificence because... after all, he was a rat.

The full moon was the next day and Remus's condition was getting worse. He was always sick during this time of the month. He was skipping many lessons and did not go to the great hall for meals. His friends would bring him food to his dorm everyday.

James, Sirius, Peter and Agatha were very excited for the full moon but also very nervous inside.

What was Remus like as a werewolf? What if he got hurt? What if they got hurt?

Agatha was currently in the library with Regulus Black, Sirius's younger brother. She was helping him with his potions essay. Slughorn may look like a jolly person but always gave a lot of homework and expected the best from his students, especially Slytherins, especially Slytherins with an interesting background.

Regulus Black looked very much like his brother Sirius, they had the same hair except that Regulus's was just a bit shorter. They had the same stormy grey eyes and about the same height.

Regulus loved his brother very much. He always looked up to him but he never showed it. Unlike his parents, he did not believe in blood purity. He simply did not care about the blood status of anyone but he had to act like he cared. He had no other option. From the day Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor and not Slytherin, his parents would shout at him constantly. Regulus heard all the shouts and occasional hexes and threats for associating with half-bloods, muggle-borns and blood traitors. He did not want that to him at all. So he knew that he had to be Slytherin otherwise end up like Sirius.

A few months ago when Sirius was disowned by the family and was about to run away, Regulus finally confronted him. He tried to convince him to not go but Sirius ended all debate once and for all and possibly their relationship to by calling him a coward for not rebelling against their parents and by saying, "You are no brother of mine.'

That statement hurt Regulus the most. If only he had listened to Sirius before then all this would not have happened. He thought it was all his fault.

Agatha and Regulus had been very good friends for a long time and she had comforted Regulus a lot. They would meet and talk to each other a lot. Either in the Slytherin common room or the library but secretly, for Sirius could not know this.

Agatha knew that Regulus was a complicated character. He had the pressure from his parents to join Voldemort's side who's power was steadily growing. He knew he had no other choice but do as his parents say. Agatha knew everything but she also knew that deep down, he was a good person and that in the end, he would change and finally stand up on his own feet.

Currently, they were laughing and having a wonderful time in the library. They had finished the potions essay and now were just relaxing.

They started talking about Voldemort but more precisely, his face.

"I mean seriously, how can a man be so ugly? Is that physically or biologically possible?' said Agatha.

"Is he even human? He's definitely not mentally but physically?"

"Maybe he's a cross between a human and an elf"

At this, they both burst out laughing and were shushed by the librarian.

Regulus sighed, "So many attacks, I heard they even attacked the Cormacs."

"But they're purebloods aren't they?"

"Blood-traitors"

"Oh," Agatha said as she slumped back into her chair.

"Your family better watch out too. You're blood-traitors as well and quite open ones too," said Regulus his voice filled with concern.

"Oh, don't worry, my parents are better wizards than they're given credit for," she replied with a shrug.

"So why does Voldemort look like that?", asked Agatha playfully.

"Ugghh, you're still on that?", said Regulus.

"Yup!"

"Wait a minute," said Regulus as he got up and started looking for a book. After a while he came back with a huge book and slammed it on the table. He opened a page and started reading out,

"The fundamental laws of magic. The first law states that 'Tamper with the deepest mysteries — the source of life, the essence of self — only if prepared for consequences of the most extreme and dangerous kind.'

He looked at Agatha to see if this eased her confusion. She was deep in thought and said,

"So, he couldn't have always looked like a creepy freak like he does now. He is a human. So what if he tampered with the first law and -"

"Faced the consequences?" finished Regulus. They smiled slightly as they both had the same excited glint in their eyes.

'So he must have done something extreme for such... drastic consequences."

"Whatever it is, it's definitely not in this book," said Regulus as he closed the book.

"Where do you think we could find a book that would have the answers?"

"It'll definitely be on the Dark Arts. Don't think it would be here at Hogwarts"

"Ahh but it just might," said Agatha, a sly smile playing at her lips.

"Where?"

"The restricted section. I bet we could find our answers there."

"I don't think that's a good idea," said Regulus his face full of uncertainty, "What if we get caught?"

"Oh, don't you worry about that. I have an idea," said Agatha, a wide grin on her face.

"Well", said Regulus with a sigh, "Your ideas are normally better than mine's so I'll trust you to it. But if we get caught, it's your responsibility"

"Accepted," she said proudly.

"I'll say you kidnapped me," said Regulus slyly.

"OI! Not accepted!" she said as she hit Regulus on the arm playfully as they started to leave the library.

* * *

Agatha was now with the boys in their dorm. The boys were all chatting about everything they'd do as animagi. Agatha was quite quiet. She was deep in thought about what had happened in the library. Her unusual silence caught the attention of Sirius.

"Hey Agatha!"

Agatha was not listening. She was still thinking.

"Oi Agatha!"

Remus nudged her and she jumped.

"Sorry, what is it?"

"What's gone into you today?" said James.

"Yeah normally you shout so much that my ears start to bleed," said Sirius.

"Oh stop exaggerating Sirius," said Agatha shaking her head.

"I'm not. I have highly sensitive ears. I'm a dog after all"

"Well my ears are even more cause I'm a wolf"

"Can you two ever not argue with each other?" interjected Remus.

Sirius and Agatha looked at each other and shook their heads.

Remus sighed and continued writing his essay.

''Hey James", said Agatha, "I was wondering if you could give your invisibility cloak tomorrow. I'll need at night."

"Why? The restricted section again?"

"Yup," she said popping the 'p'.

"Merlin, I've lost count of how many times you've taken my cloak to read books from there. What are you reading?The Dark Arts?" said James jokingly.

Agatha tensed a bit. No one noticed except Remus. He made a mental note to ask about it to Agatha later on privately.

Agatha laughed, "Of course not! Just that Animagus book again. I wanted to read it a bit more."

James nodded.

They continued talking for the whole night about animagi, school, their OWLs which were coming at the end of the year and James's ideas of how to get Lily. James had been trying to get Lily since their first year but had always failed. Not very surprising for anyone. Agatha said if a boy asked her to go out with him the way James does, which is shouting at her from a distance in front of several people, she would have rejected as well. James however just simply does not understand or probably does not want to understand. He would have to go a long way to get Lily even considering a yes.

Agatha suddenly realized the time. It was past twelve o'clock.

"Oh dear. Would you look at the time. My dorm mates'll be exploding with questions when I get back".

"You could stay here for tonight if you like," said James.

The rest of the boys agreed. Agatha considered it for a bit but finally agreed to it.

James was sleeping on the couch while Agatha slept in his bed.

They talked for a while longer and then turned off the lights.

Night time thoughts of the marauders:

James was thinking about Lily obviously. Fantasizing the day she would finally say yes.

Sirius's thoughts were a bit bizarre:

Why does James's name have an 's'? Like, why is it plural? Why isn't it singular like, Jame. Why James? How many Jame or Jameses? Wait What? Ahh well, guess I'll ask him tomorrow.

Remus, being Remus, had of course deep philosophical thoughts:

In the word 'fascinate', is the 's' silent or the 'c' silent. Wonder if anyone's ever thought about that before. Fascinating...

Very philosophical indeed...

Peter was snoring dreaming about the best chocolate in the world.

And of course Agatha. It took her a while to sleep. She was thinking about her conversation with Regulus. She was both excited and nervous to find out more.

* * *

It was about 2 o'clock in the morning and Sirius was awake. He had just woken up and he had an idea. A marvellous idea.

A marvellous yet foolish idea.

"Hey! Wake up!" he nudged everyone.

"Bloody hell Sirius!" "Go back to sleep!" "It's so late!" "Go away!"

"Wake up! You must listen to this! I've got an incredible idea! YOU MUST!"

"WHAT TIME DO YOU CALL THIS?" "IT'S BLOODY TWO IN THE MORNING!"

Remus and Agatha were fuming in anger. They were both growling. Agatha resisted the urge to turn into a wolf and pounce on Sirius.

"Please, it's a great idea!"

"Okay what?!"

"What if we had special nicknames matching with our animagi. Like how we call Remus Moony."

Remus and Agatha looked like they were going to strangle Sirius.

"That's a great idea!" said James as he leaped out of his bed, "What will I be?"

"Bloody hell," groaned Agatha.

"What about Spiky, because of your antlers.", suggested Sirius. That made Remus and Peter burst out into laughter. Even Agatha smiled a bit.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT. ARE YOU NUTS?"

"What about Prongs then?"

James thought for a bit and then agreed.

"I'd like to be called Snuffles!" said Sirius excitedly.

"Absolutely not! That's a hideous name," said Agatha with a look of disgust.

"Then what?"

"Padfoot"

"What?"

"Because of your padded paws" "Has a nice ring to it," said James. Sirius agreed.

"Peter is easy. We can call him Wormtail," said Remus to which Peter agreed.

Now only Agatha was left.

They had to think a lot about it. Brownfur, Browncoat, Claws, Moony 2.0.

"How about Howler?" suggested Sirius with a sly smile.

"WHAT? NO!"

"Done!"

"UNDONE!"

"Done!"

"UNDONE!"

"DONE!"

"UNDONE!!"

"But it's so good because you're a wolf and you howl a lot and plus, you shout so loudly, you're basically a howler."

Everyone laughed. It took a bit more time to convince Agatha but she finally agreed, mainly because of the truth of the statement.

They laughed for a while more and finally decided to sleep. Agatha threatened that if Sirius woke them up again, she would strangle him to death. Needless to say, they had a night of peace.

Midnight Aid

Summary: Bucky pays you an unexpected visit in the middle of the night after a mission goes wrong and he’s badly hurt. Not the best bonding session given the fact that you both hate each other but your cat Alpine manages to lift the mood.

Warning: light blood, fluff, angst & sarcasm galore, general oblivious dumbassary

“Goddamnit,” said Bucky as he tried to turn his phone on for the eighth time without luck. His battery had died but didn’t want to simply barge into your house in the middle of the night without at least giving a call.

Him and Sam had investigated an abandoned hydra base earlier that day. It turned out to be a trap and they were viciously attacked. The mission was successful but not before Bucky got shot in his shoulder. He told Sam he’d be alright but he needed someone to get the bullet out.

He stopped in front of your door with his hand ready to ring the doorbell. He could just pick the lock and not have to wake you up. The prospect of seeing you scowling at him wasn’t all that exciting and that too in his current state.

He lowered himself onto his knees and started picking the lock with two long steel wires. It took him a grand total of 12 seconds. So much for modern apartment security. He quietly opened the door and gave a sigh of relief on seeing all the lights were off. You must be asleep. He made his way to the kitchen and started looking for a first aid kit. He’d treat himself, he decided. He’d be in and out without you ever knowing.

But maybe he got a bit too ahead of himself as in his exhausted state, as he bumped against a bookshelf in the darkness and a stack of books fell down with a loud thud. “Shit- why the hell does she have a bookshelf in the goddamn kitchen?” he muttered as he bent down to pick up the books. Bad idea because his right shoulder was absolutely killing him. He hissed in pain as reached for the books in darkness but then he felt something furry and soft brush against his legs.

He almost jumped out of his skin as he looked at the creature in front of him. The white cat stared back at him, its blue eyes almost glittering as it reflected the moonlight flooding in through the window. The cat tilted its head curiously and walked up to a very confused Bucky to sniff his flesh hand.
