After a 22 hour day of hours of waiting and waiting, lots of little dog walks, a rainbow, a river, a burst tyre, we made it on the freight ferry and arrived in a full moon lit Ullapool at 2am. 4 hours sleep later and it’s blowing a gale out there now. Heading to Inverness.

My degree subject is Social Policy and I have worked in the field of policymaking for four and a half years. I have literally spent ten years of my life immersed in politics and policymaking.

Preparing to move as work is very busy - it’s the minor details that are sending me insane. Ferries/picking up a new (to me) car, juggling a rental checkout and a borrowed van. 🙄
And exactly which kind of heating system - which things need collecting first with which vehicle and have I budgeted for all the trains?
Three weeks and it will all be over and resolved :-)
