My esteemed what-the-fucks,

I am happy to say that I will be updating Wild and Evermore again starting in September. Thank you for all your patience and understanding.

We finally got into our new apartment about a month ago. We’re still settling in but the goal is to start working in earnest on my current fics in September after my parents come for a visit. Wild is getting very close to some sort of conclusion then I’ll be focusing all my time and energy on Evermore, which is my magnum opus if I’m honest.

The shitshow continues as I move from my second job of the year into my third job because the fingers on my writing hand are rebelling against me (I have trigger finger, google it).

We have to move by the end of June; our apartment complex is raising the rent by $300 at the signing of our next lease. Fuck that, we can’t afford it. So we’re apartment hunting.

Roomie just lost her job because the other techs decided they didn’t like her and ganged up on her.

Idk man, I’m just fucking tired. Not giving up on stories or fanfiction. I just need rest.

So I quit my job.

Long story short: Nothing wrong with the organization itself, but what I was actually having to do was very triggering due to past personal trauma.

I had an assignment that hit too close to home, triggering possibly my worst panic attack to date, so I resigned on the spot and left.

Bailong05 told me “come home, we’ll figure it out”, and I’m so glad she’s in my life.

I’ve been applying to writing jobs and barista jobs and one corporate training job bc apparently people with degrees in education can do that.

I finally chose my mental health over my career. But until I find a job, I’ll probably be too pre-occupied anxious to actually write.

Maybe I’ll start DoorDashing so we don’t lose the apartment 👍🏻

TW: depression and suicidal intentions

So I’m actually working on Evermore chapter 13. I am also working on two novels and a biography. Which would explain why things are taking so fucking long.

I’m also awaiting placement for a depression recovery program. Partial hospitalization on recommendation from my therapist. I could be getting in as early as Jan 5th and as late at Jan 20th. Either way, it’s-a comin’. I had a close call recently where I was a little more than slightly “sewer-side-all” and the only thing that made me stop was realized that bailong05 would’ve come home to find me dead. And that’s not good so I didn’t go through with that plan.

Either way, shit’s been crazy, thanks for sticking with me. Stay tuned~
