admitting that your fave did something wrong/didn’t do enough is not the same as saying that they are a bad person or that you don’t like them anymore. you can call them out and still love them!!

Also, there is a pandemic going on. For the love of God, if you have symptoms of COVID-19 STAY HOME!

Please self isolate if you’ve been out in very large crowds.

Black people are dying at high rates from COVID-19 take care and watch out for others.

my-adventure-begins-here:

As protests continue all across the United States remember that it IS okay to protest at home. If you are disabled or ill or cannot go out and physically protest for another reason PLEASE do not feel guilt. You can be just as active from your home by doing things like: Sharing BLM posts, sharing posts on how to protest safely, sharing posts about medical resources in your area for protestors. You can also educate yourself and others. Amplify Black Voices, and donating to bail out funds or other foundations. Do NOT feel bad if you can not physically join the protests. You CAN still stand with the movements.

protests ARE happening in smaller towns, theyre spreading past cities, its just not getting as much (read: any) media attention. i went to one in my (very white, suburban) hometown just today (people showed up in the hundreds, i did NOT expect it). this is fully nationwide, here is a link to a twitter thread of small town protests. WE ARE HERE. black lives matter, acab, small town folks WILL keep showing up in and out of the cities
