Today a co-worker asked me what I think about the game series Fallout and I told him I had a totally normal opinion or two about it

Real talk about DiMA tho

(Some spoilers about Nick Valentine and Far Harbor ahead)

I love DiMA, he gives me massive kid brother energy and just adds so much good stuff to Nick’s character but GOD do I feel bad for him. Not only did he help his brother escape the institute and have to leave him behind but he was thrown into a world where you kill to survive. No freaking wonder he killed Captain Avery and replaced her. He probably saw a bunch of people get kidnapped by synths and replaced some time after. We can’t forget that DiMA CREATED his personality through new memories and not premade like Nick. He probably thought that that was normal at the time or even a necessary action if he wanted to create peace.

I obviously don’t condone what he did, murder is not good and neither is replacing someone and lying. But DiMA had no good influence to teach him right from wrong as he “grew up” in the wasteland. Later he understands that what he did was horrible and if the sole survivor convinces him, DiMA turns himself in to be executed. I never chose to execute him because Nick would want to lose his brother. Sure if DiMA tells far harbor you receive a [Nick loved that] because he’s always been a guy who fights for the truth. DiMA thought that what he did was for the greater good, even if the repercussions where terrible, he just wanted to keep Acadia safe. And I feel that Nick might respect that to some regard aside from his brother killing and replacing someone. And don’t forget about the fact that even Nick himself wants to accept him as his brother even without the sole survivor’s guidance. He WANTS to get to know DiMA and think of him as family because there is truly no one else like him.

Thinking about how a lot of people in the wasteland would have dreadlocks purely because hygiene is not exactly the biggest requirement in fictional fallout America. Explains why a lot of people have short or close cropped hair so they don’t have to deal with dreads. Hair tends to naturally dread if you don’t wash it or brush it out everyday so unless hygiene was just SHOVED down your throat you’d probably deal with dreads or go the bootcamp cut route.

And we are BACK ON THE ANIMATION TRAIN EVERYONE

A long time ago I made an animation to Tennagers by MCR and just had to animate again. I may not be the best (hell I’m still a beginner) but I’m so freaking PROUD OF THIS. I’ve grown so much not only in my art style but my animation too!!! I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do! Stay awesome!

I might do a full color and everything some day but for now I’m happy with it being just a sketch animation :)))))

I made this comic a LONG while back right here and I thought “what the hell let’s redraw it”. And I’m very happy with the result LMAO.

Tulip is the smartest dumbass alive and craves to pet a deathclaw. Nothing will stop her. Except maybe death, but even then.

Hello again everybody and welcome to Tulip! She’s my very first fallout oc and the sole survivor for my Pain of Redemption comic :)

I had this idea for a TV show/movie cover where it showcased both Tulip and her synth counterpart. And yes Tulip does has a synth version of her that tries to kill them at every given moment. Comedy gold I say. Synth Tulip’s story changed a lot from the original plot and I might info dump I might not! We’ll see where this road takes us

Fallout Whale?

I’d like to think this ghoul whale isn’t necessarily aggressive. It developed an extremely corrosive stomach acid to break down the trash and bones scattered across the ocean as a normal whale’s food source would be pretty much extinct other than the odd mirelurk here or there. And with such an abundant food source it wouldn’t be aggressive to anyone swimming around the ocean. Sure it might think boats are a tasty snack and might take a bite out of the hull but that would be about it. I believe the ghoul whale would develop sharp teeth to break apart trash, metal, rubber, concrete, the whole nine yards to help digest it better. Helps tons with cleaning the ocean and it can like in peace. Ghoul whales would also be solitary unless they’re caring for their young. A whale needs a lot of food and forming packs with other whales diminishes the food source a lot quicker.

Ghouls whales most likely developed arms and legs to walk on the surface again. They wouldn’t be very good at walking as they’re more adapted for water but in case food is scarce they can go on land to eat. Ghoul whales also have a very low cry that is difficult but not impossible to hear. They are also gigantic. Ghoul whales reside very deep below the surface and only come up for air or if their food source is low. It’s not difficult to say they would around 50~60 ft. Which is more than twice the size of both a mirelurk queen and a fog crawler. Huge creatures like that use a lot of energy and walking on the surface would be extremely difficult for said whale.

Now as for the name I’m not sure I like “Ghoul Whale”. It’s a tad uncreative and there are a fair share of ghoulified animals that don’t go by “ghoul dog” or “ghoul deer”. And I know there’s a ghoul Yao Guai but I digress, I believe there should be a better name. So I propose the name Sea Drifter! It’s similar to the names of Mirelurks or Fog Crawlers because of how literal the name is and I think it matches the more docile nature a sea drifter would have.

Holy shit I’m back. For good? Who fucken knows lmao.

So hi hello I’m back! I’m Sam if you didn’t know and I used to post an ungodly amount of fallout before I got sad and forgot what tumblr is.

Some basic updates: I got a job back in June and my job is closing next week lmao. Does that mean I’ll be posting more often? Not sure yet but good news ya girl is back on her fallout train. The old girl was running on fumes but I finally threw some coal back onto the fire and we’re heading FULL SPEED AHEAD.

I’m in the middle of writing a bunch of dialogue for the pain of redemption comic. And in case some of you don’t follow my other social medias my art style has changed a bit. It’s a bit better now :). Pain of Redemption is coming back! Yeah you heard it right. I’m not sure when pages will be coming out but I’m hoping soon. Lots and lots and LOTS of redesigns, scrapped characters, side stories and other things happened behind the scenes. The new ref sheets will be posted sporadically here and there but you know my number one girl: Tulip Angelwood, will be the first to be posted about.

HOLY FANTASIA IT’S ME AGAIN!!

Who knew I’d come back after GOD know whatever the hell happened in the past year and a half but yea hello it’s me Sam! I’m back on this little slice of the internet and I have no idea what changed so we’re here for the long haul!

Since it’s been forever I thought I’d update you guys on some stuff! (It’s all under the cut lol)

1. I use she/they pronouns now! So cool right? I don’t really have a preference with which ones you use for me but I do prefer to go by Sam instead of Sammie. Not only that but I identify as demiromantic and demisexual. I’m still really only attracted to men but those two labels seem to fit me the most

2. I have officially graduated high school and I’m now working in a beauty store! My work schedule is still a little crazy but we’re getting there lol

3. I’m back in my fallout craze again but here’s some other hyperfixations that I’ve picked up since being on my hiatus

This blog will still be dedicated to fallout but my main blog (now @questi0nablem0rality ) will feature other fandoms and crazy art I make. I’ve even started developing a comic for my Magic: The Gathering hyperfixation because I made some characters that I love a little too much.

I’ve missed you all and I’m glad to be back! Much love!
