My TBI

you know because of my TBI I feel completely alone, I feel stupid. I already had a learning disability now I have right frontal lobe damage. It's awful really fucking awful. You know something if you hit your head soooo fucking hard you could become permanently colorblind. So now my cute colors on here are just god damn awful. I'm extremely grateful on why little color. But I never asked for this

I made a mistake, a huge fucking mistake. I got so fucking angry I used my punching bag but I wasn't even thinking. I don't know why keep doing it It really hurts I can't even go to the hospital I don't have insurance anymore SO WHY COULDN'T I STOP?!... lost my job

I don't know why I even try at this point a job for almost a year fires me, I'm SICK OF IT. I've been looking for new jobs non stop and I'm tired.and it doesn't help my fucking mother found out...I KEEP TRYING TO PUT MYSELF TOGETHER BUT I DON'T THINK I HAVE THE ENERGY ANYMORE. I feel like a damn fish being pulled out of water every time. For once can something good happen

Her grandparents immigrated to the USA after WWII and she lived in the italian american community all her life before the bombs dropped so she knows italian rather well. She’s rather fond of August and over time became some sort of guide in his eyes. She taught him a little bit of italian too.

Tungle, we are going to have a problem.

Alright, so for those of you who have no idea what this is, let me explain.

I’m a tired old comic artist on this here website - that I love dearly - who is used to uploading my weekly comics via the old Tumblr image upload system.

Which was - up until this point - essentially limitless. 

That is, although the gallery images have always been limited to 10 total ones, the images that you uploaded in line with text have had no cap.

HOWEVER.

More recently, tumblr has been beta-ing a new text editor. You may have heard of it! It’s pretty! It’s streamlined! It allows you to use text colors and various typefonts!

And…

….it has a total image upload limit.

Whereas before, I used to be able to click that camera icon and keep going with the uploads… now…

Tsk, that’s just rude.

Now, I know what you’re thinking dear reader.

‘Well, 10 images, that seems reasonable. After all, what if one were to, say, upload 30? Or 100?’

And I hear you, I really do. Because having been on this website for over a decade, I’ve had my fair share of traumatic memories relating to posts that were just… a bit too long. 

…however….

What this means is that people who upload comics… or infographs… or longer, explanatory written posts which rely heavily on eye-catching diagrams and illustrations… are going to be quite inconvenienced.

I sincerely hope tumblr updates will account for all the people who currently rely on the very useful endless-image-upload feature to spice up their infodump writeups, liveblogs and of course… comics.

As a comic artist, I frequently (weekly) upload my pages to tumblr - and they can often get as long as 25 images!

We already have a tumblr culture setup to deal with this - tagging as #longpost or hiding your extra-lengthy stuff behind a read-more are greats way to save dashspace that don’t require capping people’s creative posts.
