Dutch master builder Paul Paymans has finished his model of the Dutch Zeven Provinciën, flagship of Admiral de Ruyter, among many other feats famous for its attack on Chatham (the Dutch Raid on the Medway, 1667)
Model like these are generally wooden sets; this model by Sea Horse (1:100) is paper, where necessary strenghtened with laser cut parts. All small details like guns, blocks etc. are plastic. Special sets with various thickness 'rope' are also available.
Seahorse.pl has a large series of very attractive antique sailing ships.

Paul Paymans has finished the ship itself - now starting on the rigging. The Zeven Provinciën was built in 1665 in Rotterdam and became the flagship of Admiral Michiel the Ruyter, who fought the Spanish in the Dutch War of Independence (the 80 years' war) against the Spanish.
Published by Seahorse (Poland), 1:100. A model for very experienced builders!

Davide Crotta sent me these pictures of Canon models. Personally, I am not very happy with computer designs where curves have been reduced to sharp folds.
